Also did you guys notice that the girl who gave up on Go and gave her pillow to Shi Guang when he moved in to…
I took that part as just Chu Ying being playful. If I remember correctly both Chu Ying & Fang Xu were there for their "boys", Shi Guang and Yu Liang respectively, and they both noticed each other's "boys" progress through their respective games at that time. So I think it was just a "mentor" moment between them! :) And CY being sad at that moment that he can't really converse with FX in reality and talk about their students/juniors and be mutually proud of them -- and of course talking about go with a fellow enthusiast/expert, and playing go with his own hands... :/

From what I remember, Chu Ying only said Fang Xu is now a worthy opponent, when did they mention anything about the past?
Also, kudos for discovering that Easter egg about the girl being there in the pro grading, I didn't notice, wow!!! :o (Now y'all making me want to rewatch this already!!!)
Yep, especially between the first 3 spots, they change all the time! I wonder who will be the final winner? :D [I need to do an article about it, lol!]
ah sadly beside AMA, I've not encountered many diverse fls in cdramas yet ;)
Oh, it's very possible it was me :'D Well, besides the long ep count, it's also a slow burn (romance-wise), so of course this drama is not for everyone... but it's SO worth it in my opinion!! ^.^

Try "The Story of Ming Lan", one of the Strongest (not physically, but more per your definition) and Smartest female lead I've encountered in a C-drama. She fights to live on her own terms, and most importantly, she does it under a woman's confinements of her time & society (so she's still a realistic portrayal of a woman of her time/place), by managing to play by the rules of this confinement, and play perfectly *with* the rules!
It's a very enjoyable drama with a strong female lead (not the best, but still very enjoyable), but the problem is they cut it towards the end. It's still worth watching in my opinion, though!!
Can someone put a spoiler post on here letting me know if it is a sad or happy ending?
Not sad exactly, nobody from the mains died, she just got back to her time/world... Or at least that's what was implied, it wasn't very clear, so I would say, if nothing else, the ending was ambiguous!
How come it is so low in the ranking? It is an excellent adaptation, solid plot, great script and you can see…
Yeah, no romance shows aren't that popular!! But this drama wasn't even something I use to watch (Me? Youth & Sports drama??) before, but I got to it at random, and I was impressed, and then I couldn't stop watching!!!! It's my favourite drama of the year (for now), it touched me so much, I'm already missing the characters tbh!! :(
Oh, and on the ranking on my list above, fortunately it has picked up now, and it's currently at #13!!! :)
