Love reading about the history of cinema, though pre-1930's movies are a bit too much for me (too bad most of those early works are lost, not only of Japanese cinema but also of other countries')!

The "Yunmeng Jiang" part shouldn't edited out entirely, it's very useful to know from what sect each one is, especially for new viewers! What should be done, according to MDL guidelines, is to put this info into brackets [ ]. So it should be:
Jiang Yanli [Yunmeng Jiang sect]
Lan Xichen / Lan Huan / "Zewu-Jun" [Gusu Lan sect]
Wen Zhuliu / "Core-Melting Hand" [Qishan Wen sect]
etc, etc.

Yeah, I notice that about Viki. Thankfully I just started this specific drama so for now I'll continue on there. WeTV is indeed faster in general (even without the VIP) plus it has 1080p quality for free -- I've become addicted to its quality (the subs aren't bad, too, not as good as Viki but not bad at all) that, with Viki+iQIYI+WeTV I haven't used a pirate site for a long time! (Also, I don't remember how much they are exactly, but I think Netflix costs almost the same as Viki Basic + iQIYI VIP + WeTV VIP subscriptions all together!!)

You can watch it legally & in a much better quality on either Viki or WeTV (links above Cast)
