She's a fantastic actress, perfect for such roles so I think that's why she always gets them. The food cinematography…
I totally get what you're saying. Maybe she's not ready yet for other types of roles or she likes doing the bubbly type. To be frank, I rarely see a drama without a naive chaotic buubbly girl (it's a shame, but people obviously like that). She's still very young and will probably have other roles in the future. Now that I think about it, there are so many male actors who have exactly the same roles over and over again, but that's always ignored. Lee Min Ho for example - he's extremely popular, always mentioned as one of the best Korean actors (public opinion, not mine), one of the best paid ones. But, he always has the same role of a rich cocky boy (The King, Boys over flowers, Legend of the blue sea, The Heir...). That's fine, of course, but that's why I don't mind Lushi taking the same roles, she's in her twenties (while Lee is in his thirties) so she has a lot of time to develop her acting skills. It's so sad to hear that the cfandom is criticizing her, but I'm glad that some people are supportive. :)
im gonna be completely honest, this drama is wayy too silly as I go through episodes. Sometimes I watch rom-com…
She's a fantastic actress, perfect for such roles so I think that's why she always gets them. The food cinematography was great as well. However, those two things are unfortunately overshadowed by silly scenes. The drama isn't bad at all, it's quite funny sometimes, but I just can't get over the amount of cringeworthy moments. :(
Oh i didn't know the age gap is so big and i didn't start count your lucky stars because of the 20 years diff.…
I haven't watched it yet, but I don't think that she's a transgender. The series' description didn't say anything about that either, but either way, I wouldn't mind. The plot is a bit too fluffy though, so I don't think I'll watch a lot of episodes, but I'll give it a try.
the age gap bugs me but i'll see how they handle it before dropping it :)
I don't like it either, but I'm curious how it will turn out because the trailer looks great. On the other side, series with great trailers usually turn out boring, so who knows.
If anyone's wondering whether to watch this or not, do it, it's something completely different from other dramas. The first two episodes are amazing, BUT... When I saw a lot of comments here saying that they hope the son and the ''mom'' won't end up together, I thought people were just overreacting, I was sure that their relationship was family-like, not romantic. But, after watching all 6 episodes, I'm so disappointed. The ''mom'' doppelganger has turned from an interesting character into an annoying damsel in distress who even admits to have developped romantic feelings towards the ML. Of course, she doesn't know it's her son, but still, it's not like the ML couldn't have told her the whole truth already. She already knows about the time travel thing and that she looks like his mother, so I can't believe she's ignoring it. It's so wrong that I can't even... I can't believe they managed to ruin such a fantastic series.
You Who Came from the Stars and It's Okay to Not Be Okay made me realize Kim Soo Hyun is not for me. Both dramas…
I completely agree, I couldn't get past the first episode of You who came from the stars and It's okay not to be okay. I don't know why, but Kim Soo Hyun is totally creeping me out (mostly because of his eyes/gaze). I don't think he's a bad person at all, it's just that he and his characters creep me out a lot. I'm not convinced by his acting either, it's too robotic. As for Strong Woman, it was funny, but also cringeworthy. Still, I liked Ji Soo's character, too bad he was the second lead.
I agree with all pros and cons. Something in between a con and a pro for me is the schedule. Most K-dramas release two episodes per week, which is fantastic. But, they're released two days in a row and then you have to wait for a whole week. To be honest, I often forget what happened in the previous episode or lose interest. I wish they released the episodes with a bit of ''space'' between them. For example, if one episode airs on Monday, the other one could air on Thursday. But I definitely like that dramas have a consistent schedule. Before I discovered dramas, I liked watching American TV series, but their long breaks during the season were so annoying.
Misaeng is a fantastic drama, it's such a shame that it's underrated.
Yes, the rating is good, but it rarely appears on any lists so not a lot of people find out about it. That's such a shame. I agree that it's probably due to the lack of romance.
it will always be in trend in Thailand..and has been for the last 40 years
I get what you mean. By ''all'', of course I didn't literally mean every single one of them, but more ''in general/the majority of''. When I was looking for something to watch, I picked about 10 or 15 of lakorns from different users' lists or recommendations and they all had this problem unfortunately. That was quite disappointing, but I'll give the ones you listed a try.

I tried to watch a couple of popular lakorns, but could never get past the first episode because of that. At first I thought I just picked out the wrong ones, but then I realized they're all like that. It's truly horrible. If TV series (where everything is at least a bit sugarcoated) are like this, I don't want to even imagine how horrible it must be to live there and experience it. :( I sincerely hope life is a lot better in Thailand than how it's portrayed in lakorns.
Flower of Evil has an amazing OST song (Feel you), I don't think they released it yet, but it's fantastic. Every time it starts playing during the episode, I get goosebumps.
