I don't think you understand my points. So let's me be CLEARER. I have no problem with SF.
However, 1. I have problem with the writing that overly pushing the male lead ( making him a saint , perfect, always sacrifice for others, so pitiful, always get hurt, etc... In the book XJ is actually quite smarter and her family are more sensible too compared to the drama if you still don't get the "trying too hard to push the male lead" point ) and 2, my problem is how viewers suddenly calling XJ stupid when she has always been a baby who listens and follows people she loves and trusts. She has been quite consistent and viewers are the ones that aren't.
And it's not her fault that everyone lies to her, including her most trusted and beloved SF. She is a victim without even coughing blood or getting injured too. Why can't people see her being stuck in the middle , try to protect and please everyone while being lied left and right. She has been abused and lied in this life and even previous life. Hence she didn't believe in sincerity. That's why SF original character bet on his love for her and using 10 lives to show a glass-heart girl like her a sincere love.

That's unfortunately how the story making the male lead look good. And honestly it left a bitter taste in my mouth especially the drama should focus more about XJ and her revenge to heaven for her injustices and their lies. But the drama has been more about how smart SF is ( by making everyone is stupid. XJ is way smarter in the novel) and how much SF has been sacrificing or suffering for XJ..., and how he is against everyone and and everything for his love. If they don't make him look so sympathetic, above and beyond everyone, others wouldn't look so bad, especially XJ- who is pretty much still a bland paper at this point, who just got her 6 senses back, who have been pretty much listens and trusts the people she loves and is close to her. Yes, she listens and trust everything SF told her: Everything SF said is correct in her mind. But all the sudden, she is stupid when she still listens and believes her most beloved person LOL. You know what? He character is pretty consistent. Y'all are the ones that aren't consistent because she is all the sudden stupid because y'all beloved male lead is suffering by his own his own lies...
But yeah let's insult her since she dares to break SF's heart even if he is the one that lied and hid everything for her own sake. And wait, it's must be her fault for being naive, got her 6 senses stolen until now, not have a heart and not knowing the truth and more importantly have all her beloved family and people she trusted against SF. It is her fault no one is telling her the truth. It's also her fault that SF lied and hide everything from her. How dare she NOT know? Right?

Why is it so hard for people to understand her character? Even until today she believes every single thing SF tells her " basically everything SF said is correct", including his lies. Because she loves and trusts and him the most. That's how she has been- a baby that relying on people she loves and trusts to tell her what's right and wrong. I mean since she was young she did't know anything without 6 senses and only relied on what people telling her how to think, feel etc... Even now, she suddenly she got her 6 senses back but she is still a baby with no experience and independence, or her own thoughts.... She is just like a baby, no more no less. The drama is a progress of her learning what's real, what's beyond of what it seems like or what people telling her. It's a progress of her growing- becoming a real person with blood and feeling from a killing weapon with a glass heart.
Tbh she has no one that telling her to support SF but she still tried to give him chance after chance. That show how much she loves him. But it's her instinct and directness. She doesn't know anything too complex. That's her problem. She isn't stupid. Because babies aren't stupid. They just don't know better and that's why we need to teach them, not lie, abuse and call them stupid when they don't follow your wish.

Exactly! Sure he loves and wants to protect her. But he hides so much from her and even lied to her... She doesn't know he is suffering nor what he is doing for her. But people don't see his problem and why they are in the situation they are in partly because of him. He is the one that hurting himself for not communicating well XJ is a smart , decisive and actually the most powerful girl. She doesn't need his protection like she is a little baby...
