I wasn't sure before but after following them I'm certain that they are still together. It'd be kill their career if they confirm since they both quite new and only started their career. XK fangirls are also obsessed and mostly in it for his look.
Same with you I don't put much hope in their relationship either, because it's hard to last in this industry especially with they being young new actors who have a lot of pressure and restriction also busy schedule too.
But at least because they are together you know you will have great chemistry in their upcoming projects as well as they are going to have a good time filming with each other.

He is supposed to be a kid ( even his real age is much older than her) in the beginning of The legends and the makeup makes her look older. Honestly she looks much younger and prettier with no makeup or with little makeup in my opinion.
And they are obviously a real couple if you watch their BTS and follow them. She is actually a few months older and is the one with higher IG and more mature between them too. Anyway I hope the new drama and their characters are great. Bai Lu needs a real break-through lol

Legends was filmed in 2017 and early 2018, AMA was filmed in the middle of 2018.
So you can see they don't get air right away.
I think he is filming 3 dramas this year and they will not air until next year or even the year after.

I heard it will be aired in 2020. But it'd be funny to see him and BL are in such small roles after all the dramas they did though

However people/ fans recognize their acting skill and chemistry for the projects they did. I do think Bai Lu still has a long way to go but what I like about her is you can distinguish each of her roles right away. There is no shadow of HX in Zhao Yao, there is no shadow of ZY in XX, there is no shadow of XX in XY. XK is also like that with his 3 dramas I have seen. They owns each of their roles. Aside from that BL is one of the rare actresses can pull off heroic, muscular vibe among the younger actresses who want to be the goddesses.

For a newcomers they are much better among a sea of flower vases that relied on faces and popularity

Pairing many times isn't rare in cdramas. But imo they have great chemistry and acting skills that I don't think we would get tired of them. I mean they are totally different in their prev dramas.
However it might not help much for their career. I understand they have their reasons though

Lmao I agree everything but CXX and PXR is a better pair. In fact I don't think PXR is even a good actress. She is lucky to have the look and good 1st lead production since she was under FBB. She is stuck because FBB is stuck too.

Not many actress can have a great production with popular novel as their 1st lead role. But I heard she improved in the new show so I look forward for her improvement
I was impressed with CXX in GBP though. He and Bai Lu would make an interesting couple.
