Yes she really works hard, especially in AMA. Not only she had to cut her hair, but also had to cover her breast and wear more clothes in very hot weather to pretend a guy. She still had to film even when she got sick. If you watch Lucky's first love you would still see bruises and new scar she had from the earlier filming, and of course she wore a wig there because her hair was still short. lol
This isn't supposed to be a drama that blow you away, but rather slice of life, light and fun and rather realistic…
To me, the relationship or relationship progress in the drama are quite realistic even the whole drama isn't. For example, how XY is positive and happy the way she is because she is raised by loving parents who treasure her . Or how XK and XY fallen without for each other from because they have been though a lot up and down together and have always been support and trust each other in the last 2 years. It didn't need a moment "OMG I'm in love with him/ her" It just happen naturally as they spent time together... which I believe actually happens a lot in real life. I also personally prefer friends to lovers and think it's way more realistic than love at first sight s I like the comfortable and familiar relationship between 2 people. Other thing I found the drama is more realistic and refreshing is that: The 2nd lead isn't evil or the gf doesn't have to misunderstand and won't listen to the bf's explanation like in many drams. XK always hides his feeling throughout the drama and the ex gf / his family affair were just there to highlight it for XY . However there is no breakup, no misunderstanding when the ex arrived, no rich family against poor family like many 95% cdramas out there. Even the mother eventually accept the divorcee and the kid too. To me that's more realistic because imo real life often not dramatic and crazy as in drama... Maybe once is a while but not all the time. That's probably why I found this drama refreshing. It's light and they don't have a lot of overused cliches.

It's definitely not big budget production (vs let's say The Untamed which is one of Tencent biggest highlight this year or other big star's drama) . This was both Xu Kai and Bai Lu's real first leading project. And they were pretty much no name at that time. But it's worth watching for the acting and chemistry. I guess you have to pass a few episode but Bai Lu is a domineering demoness there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5Ft7HvAxDY
I came here right now to right this: 'When will China let female leads wear proper and fashionable clothes and…
Her hair is a wig. And she had no other choice since her hair is super short at that time. What AMA to see how short her hair was This drama isn't high budget production. And I personally see nothing wrong with her sandals with the company dress code.
ok.... so, can someone please confirm to me if girls in China really wear short shorts to work, because I notice…
I think it depends on the companies and obviously dramas and productions. TIG is a gaming start-up so the dresscode is pretty chill... and fun. You can see the decoration of the place. But overall in Asian, women love to wear shorter skirts/ dresses in general.... even at work places
If I had to describe this drama, I'd say it's vanilla ice cream (not the fancy kind, the own brand stuff... like…
This isn't supposed to be a drama that blow you away, but rather slice of life, light and fun and rather realistic ( in the way how the relationships work out) with less cliches . Something easy and cute to watch- a fresh air between all the heavy stuffs
yes all VIP users will get instant access soon after they air the episode.
AOL is a TV drama. I don't remember which stream stations got it. But Yanxi was Iqiyi exclusive because they produced it with YZ. I remember because it was like a war between Tencent and Iqiyi and they won with Yanxi last year

Sometimes she isn't very photogenic, depends on style but she definitely has small face and look good in movements That's a better photos. Why do they reject?

Don't forget to check out other dramas like Arsenal Military Academy and Lucky's first love. You will also see how handsome and adorable my daughter is. People say she look like many other actresses. To me her face is quite amazing. It can transform to different characters and look quite different in each projects. It's a good thing but also a bad thing. Because for passer-by they might not recognize her
At what point does she stop acting childish towards him? Actually I really want to know when Does she find out…
It won't be revealed to her sadly. But it's for a good thing because she doesn't deserve to be heart-broken over it And the childish thing is their relationship. They won't stop. XK will get his pay back later. You will see. And she won't get mad at XK for long. Mostly it's just for the laugh and cute tbh. Like 2 lovers are mad at each other. Because these 2 obviously like each other but they don't realize it.
She is also a good actress though

But of course, everyone has their own standard. But with ep 2, you haven't seen much of her character yet
