There are totally 5 kingdoms , actually ,more, 7 countries in the book. The novel has 7 books but drama only has 66 ep so they simplified and changed the story a lot ( and ruined the tittle character too)... If I didn't read the novel I don't think the drama is bad, thank for the lead's acting and chemistry... but since I read the novel, I can't help but feel disappointed... Just like General and I, international fans love it but cfans think it's a mess because they know how the novel goes... Although Fuyao has better excuse with SARFT...

Anyway I'm excited about tonight episodes. Finally a big reveal after almost 60 eps. They changed the story a lot compared from the novel to pass SARFT. But it's not bad... and makes sense. And though it goes without flaws but I enjoy Xuanja arc quite a lot. Maybe because of how quick the plot moving and Xuanji is quite mysterious and interesting..... Not to mention it involves directly to our main leads who of-course have better chemistry and acting skill than some others....
Then we will head back to Tianquan to settle Wuji's family drama... They change the villains compared to the novel... And this way makes it worse and sadder for Wuji...

We get it. You don't like her character. But it's how the script writer wrote her. That's only way for you to have the plot moving... Since the male lead has to be untouchable invincible and perfect ( because it's ok when it's not for female leads) etc... And if you noticed, in the whole drama, Fuyao also keep getting injured, being saved by Wuji too, and get herself in to trouble all the time that harm herself and others. The whole drama is her suffering.
That's why I said I hate how the drama ruined her character and her story. The writer sucks to be honest. Not only they ruined her character ( and other characters too aside from Wuji) but they keep repeating the same actions... But with 5 kingdoms so we just have different characters.
I would drop the drama a long time ago if it weren't for the lead's chemistry and the actors.

It's because they gave all Fuyao's achievements, credits and plot to Wuji and turn Wuji in the center of the story. Even in Yao city and Tainsha was supposed to be her stage, but they made her reckless, partly her fault and puppet of his game
The drama is Legend of Fuyao because she is the mastermind that help her men to get their thrones and be on top of the world as well as remain peace in all the kingdom. She isn't perfect but she is smart, brave, badass and get things done. But they let Wuji do everything and Fuyao does nothing and has no purpose in the drama

They should have changed it to Legend of Wuji with this plot and writing. But I guess still need Fuyao and YM name to sell since no one would care to watch legend of Wuji/Ethan alone. Hence we have the misleading tittle and content. But I'm not happy since it's not what I was promised either, especially I read the book know the plot and characters should be like.

Yeah I appreciate their efforts to try to give everyone happy ending but yeah the love development only weakens characters... I like the relationship between Wufu but Mark and YM are still hard to beat for me LOL. Yeah I'm at a point that I just watch to see Wufu having their happy ending.
