I don’t think there’s any incest issue in this drama as none of the brothers is related to her.

You should give it a try as it’s one of the best drama I watched. Touching story without being sentimental and excellent acting from the main leads.

Seriously, I love Deng Lun’s acting in Faith Makes Great, he’s so good in conveying the character’s emotions with his eyes and body language showing his pains and anguish even without having to say a word. It’s only a 30 minutes episode but he made you empathized with the character and his heartbreaking story, I cried 3 times in such a short episode. Excellent performance indeed.

I really enjoyed this series so far (20 episodes )great storyline and acting. It’s one of the most underrated drama compared to the more popular ones of 2021 such as the long ballad and word of honour. I watched them all and this drama is my favourite of the three of them

I love Mr Fighting, such a great underrated drama. It won the Seoul International TV Series for the Best Foreign series Award last year. Deng Lun was so great as Hao Zeyu,

I don’t see any similarity between Zixu and Boya to be honest. Zixu has a fox like seductive personality but Boya is serious and stoic. Deng Lun portrayed both roles very well displaying a stark contrast between these two characters.

Love and Redemption

The main premise of the story is that no matter how hard or how many times people were trying to tell her about the issues of love and relationship between men and women she would not be able to comprehend because of the Yun Dan that her mother fed her to prevent her getting hurt from love. So around the episode 46 you should be less annoyed with her.

I think that the director should spend a little more time developing their relationship instead of putting too much emphasis on the story of the princess which I found a little dragging. Though I like the chemistry between Boya and Qing Ming.

Same here, when compared with others such as the princess, Boya, Qing Ming or Ah Long his acting was quite 2 dimensional but the back story of his character is interesting.

I lost patience with this series, started out quite interesting but going downhill after the late emperor died. Got to ep40 with the help of the fast forward button but think about dropping it.

It was the director who plagiarised a novel 15 years ago so it was unjustified to ban the movie.

In Singapore, it has entered #1 since the first day it premiered up until today the 14th of Feb it still remains #1. Also for global market it entered #8 on the fourth days after it premiered. 2/10, really? The CGI, the sets, the acting, the costumes and the OST are first class in my humble opinion. The storyline is decent but slow and some characters need more development but for giving such a low rating like this is unjustified. Furthermore, have you seen the interview with the Japanese writer himself when he said that the movie exceeded his expectations in all aspects especially the acting, he also singled out Deng Lun for his portrayal of Boya.

Yes, the same cast. The filming was completed since October last year and they were working on the post production before the first part of the movie was pulled out in China.

Maybe Yin Yang Master can help filling the void. Deng Lun is so great as Boya.

This movie is based on a novel, after the film was released the writer himself said that the movie met his expectations and he’s very satisfied with the interpretation of his novel. The other one is based on the game.
