This is the first time I watched Go Fighting and I must admit that I really enjoy the show. I watched 3 episodes and the last one without any eng sub though I still laughed like crazy. The main cast gets on so well with each other and seems to enjoy themselves so much doing the show. Deng Lun is so adorable and funny, he’s not afraid of showIng his true self and not acting like he’s an idol. It’s very entertaining and I highly recommend this program to everyone.
Just finished ep9 and I have to say that I’m having problems with the writing and plot. It includes a very controversial and repeated degrading acts to female gender which I find very disturbing. I didn’t feel it’s necessary or integral to the storyline. Also the acting of the male lead is off putting in my opinion. I’m really disappointed with this series so far.
I just finished it and to be honest I felt disappointed with the ending. It really didn’t make any sense and frustrating to say the least. i used the fast forward button quite a lot as I found a big chunk of the story rather boring with loads of plot holes. However I quite like the costumes and the sets were quite pretty plus the acting overall wasn’t that bad especially the main lead. I like ZYC and Zhao Lusi, they were quite cute together and the chemistry between them was pretty good. Don’t think I’m going to rewatch this in a hurry!
I have mix feelings about this series, the first half was good, full of adventures and cute moments between Mu Le, Yuan’an and Lan Zi. However the second half took a nose dive, the plot changed from logically written story into a melting pot of absurdity. The costumes and sets in the 2nd half were totally bizarre reflecting nothing of the Suolou or Siam Kingdom (as a Thai person). The CGI throughout the drama was really poor though the acting of the main characters was good especially Mu Le and Lan Zi. However, the ending was an anti climax, it made me want to scream at the TV.
Umm, should I watch this? I've seen some people say its good, but judging from all these comments, I'm hesitating...
It got the highest rating from Douban for Chinese series in 2018, the most respectable review website. I also didn’t want to watch it but ended up like it better than Eternal Love.
I managed to finished this drama with the help of the beloved fast forward button. the start of the drama until ep 20 is rather interesting and good fun but the storyline goes downhill when it gets to the Japanese pirates plot which drags until the end of the drama. What kept me going is the ML & FL acting and their chemistry, their scenes together are the highlights of this drama.
I find this series a bit dull to be honest. I really enjoyed the first few episodes but then it became a bit of a drag. I like Leo Wu in Nirvana in Fire but his character is not really interesting in this drama so I don’t feel connected to his character at all. The FL’s acting is pretty poor making me wanting to skip all her scenes. I like the big brother the most among the 3 siblings and the actor does a good job acting his role. I think I might leave this one on the shelf for now and might pick it up again later.
The drama is good I love it, idk how u guys don’t seem to like it maybe bc u guys didn’t understand the storyline…
I didn’t enjoyed this drama at all, the storyline was a mess and the acting was average plus the chemistry between the main leads was nothing comparing to Love Better than Immortality. I fast forwarded a lot towards the middle part.

I just binged the whole drama in three days and I loved it! The story was ridiculous, but who cares? I was living…
Also the patchy white makeup on Qui Yue’s face in that ending scene was awful to say the least. I couldn’t concentrate on what they were saying as I was very distracted by those white patches on his face!
Deng Lun is such a talented actor, humble, kind and warm-hearted being. He’s one of the best actors of his generation with beautiful warm voice who can also sing beautifully. Can’t wait to see his other drama such as Brotherhood in War/Loving the Earth and Graduation Season also his new movie Qing Ya Ji <3
I have to say that I used the fast forward button quite a lot to finish this series. The storyline is pretty weak with lots of unbelievable and boring scenes. The only saving grace of this series is Qui Yue, the most likeable character despite being the leader of the Demon Sect due to the ability of Li Hong Yi In portraying his role. He is able to express deep and complex emotions through his eyes and subtle bodily movements. I like Chun Hua at first but get a bit tired of her character towards the middle of the story. Really not impressed with this series as a whole but the acting of the ML and the chemistry between the main leads keep me going.
TOTALLY agree. Every time they have arguments about who's to blame for things, I'm just thinking to myself, "Actually,…
The key point in this whole discussion is that people can form different opinions about the same matters depending on the individuals’ outlooks or perceptions of life
i just completed all 65 episodes with the help of the fast forward button as there’re too many fillers or silly or unnecessary scenes in all episodes. The acting from both of the leads was decent but I don’t feel any chemistry between them. The saving grace for this series was the relatively unknown Deng Lun at the time as his acting and screen presence made this drama more enjoyable to watch. His portrayal of the cold blooded Fox Demon Zixu is captivatingly graceful and gorgeous and i was mesmerised by his acting. Deng Lun was able to expresses the coldness of the character but at the same time ones can feel the deep love that he has hidden deep in his heart towards Daji. I am more interested in the story between Daji and the Fox Demon than that of the main leads. The chemistry between the Fox Demon and Daji is also more intense.
