It depends on people’ outlook in this matter, in my opinion if two people truly love each other then they should be allowed to be together and not have to be forced into an arrange marriage. Life is too short to spend with someone you don’t love. In AOL Xufeng truly love Jin Mi and openly announced his intention in the present of Jin Mi’s guardian before everyone even knows that she is betrothed to Runyu. Jin Mi loves Xufeng from the very start as well but she didn’t realise that she loves him just because the Yun Dun that preventing her from understanding the emotions of love.

She’s his sister in law but name as she got tricked into marriage without her consent and trying from the start to get a divorce. She has never consummated her marriage so I don’t see any problem in Yuexuan trying to win her back after the divorce and when he realised that he truly loves her. Also they had feelings for each other from the very beginning but Yuexuan was force by his mum and his obligation towards his brother to go along with his mum devious plan.
Ep 8 was such an intense episode, I feel so sorry for Hai Tang for being tricked but also Yue Xuan as well. He did what he did because he felt sorry for his brother though I don’t condone his actions. I’m sure that he will have to pay the price for his own actions later. So far really enjoyed this series.

I liked Run Yu at the start but when he deceived the Water Immortal to believe that Jin Mi like him too and also plotting to hurt Xu Feng I started to dislike him. Xu Feng in my opinion is the most pitiful and he did nothing to deserve the pain and hurt he received. He was ignorance and oblivious to his parents’ crime but I don’t think he deserved to be punished for their wrong doings. People who said that Run Yu deserves better outcome were totally deluded, he did so many evil deeds but was excused just because he had been treated badly by the empress. But how about Xu Feng who chose to forgive his brother even though his own brother was trying to kill him in every opportunity. Xu Feng is the best character out of the whole lots even though he has not been given a back story like Run Yu but for my opinion he has the kindest and most generous heart. Truly awesome and magnificent being!
I’m team Xu Feng, his love for Jin Mi is undeniably beautiful and most sincere as he would do anything for her even sacrifices his life just to keep her safe and well. Also the love that he has for his brother is so true and he refused to believe his mother or anyone who accused Run Yu of trying to harm him. He always wanted to share what he has with his brother except Jin Mi and in the end even saved Run Yu from falling into the abyss of being possessed by that Evil. Xu Feng also choose to forgive his brother even though Run Yu were hell bent on trying to kill Xu Feng in every way possible. Xu Feng, despite being proud and arrogant has a good and generous heart and is very loyal to the ones he loves. Deng Lun portrayal of Xu Feng is magnificent and elegant yet gentle and kind. He’s an embodiment of the majestic Phoenix the Fire God. Finally, his love for Jin Mi is epic ❤️

Your analysis of Mr Fighting takes words out of my mouth though I couldn’t articulate it as good as you. Mr Fighting is such a heartwarming and beautiful drama and Deng Lun portrayal of Hao Ze Yu was so genuine and heartfelt making you chuckled, laughed and cried with him. His facial expressions for each emotion is so mesmerising to watch, very subtle yet able to beautifully convey his inner emotions of anguish, delight, awkward or embarrassment. He is truly awesome and very talented. Sandra’s acting is so natural and refreshing cute and the chemistry between them is so good, they make you feel like you are a fly on the wall observing their interactions in their daily lives rather than watching a drama. Nui Meili and Old Fu were excellent as well. Also great storyline, cinematography and soundtrack. One of the best though underrated drama of 2019!
It’s scheduled to air in November, hope it won’t get postponed again! Also I hope Mango TV on YouTube will pick this beautiful looking series up and sub it. I really can’t wait to see Deng Lun again.

In my opinion, Ashes of Love is such a beautiful drama, one of the best C-drama- better than TMOPB (which is on my top 5 list). I admire Xu Feng’s love for Jin Mi as his love is so true and unconditional. Xu Feng can do anything for Jin Mi even sacrifices his life just to keep her safe and well. I’m really touched by Xu Feng’s love and loyalty towards his loved ones including his mother and especially his brother Run Yu who had tried to kill him time and time again. Deng Lun was magnificent and majestic as the Fire God/God of War. Awesome actor indeed <3
Ashes of Love is one of the best Chinese drama of all time. The chemistry between Deng Lun and Yang Zi is out of this world making you feel so involved in their love story. Deng Lun as Fire God Xu Feng is majestic. He’s such an awesome actor <3
