Exactly, I have said this earlier, this drama has 19 episodes. 1-17 and 22, 23. This makes it a whole.

They couldn’t direct the fight scene in ep 24. It has literally no quality that they were maintaining in the earlier episodes. Just to console myself, Ep 24 doesn’t exist.

Some people like it hard, and surely he is one of them. 🤭🤭🤭

Ok now, after ranting so much, this is my final opinion that might help others to enjoy the drama fully and completely. This drama has 19 episodes. Watch 1-17 episodes and then episode 22 & 23. And, that's it. Whoever will watch, will feel happy and have goood closure. Trust me, you will miss nothing.

And, now being roasted and barbequed all over.

I have ignored episode 24 and for me episode 23 is the closure. By doing so made me immensely happy and cathartic.

That is hardly possible. People have already made quite a fuss because of their age gap.

I am up for anything when it is about Gao Weiguang. When I learned that he was starring such drama back in December 2021, i surfed online, read every article and review I could find and arduously read the novel (since it was written in Mandarin). I was happy for him. After Zhe Guo She and Dong Hua, it was going to set another milestone for him in his career. But, look at the irony! Chinses Censor board ate the quality work and left the crumbs for us. Then, we get such ending! Sigh.

Part of me wants to chase them with broom.

I was going to write an elaborate review that would critically explain pretty much everything. But, after this, I believe I will not.

Tbh, i am not afraid of tragic story and heart breaks. What I can't take, they changed it to a tragedy. I was relaxed given that I knew the ending and it is a happy one in the novel. Then, i was hit with lightning strick this morning.

I feel like I have wasted mine 😠😠

Like really! They are so bad at orchestrating tragedies. Highly highly Unnecessary 😒😒

I haven’t watched it yet, but those who have, told me SZH dies.

I have been waiting for this series since Jan 2022, read the novel and liked it very much. And now, this is what I got. Good! I feel pretty much betrayed for such ending.
May be, I will just ignore the last few episodes as the fandom of GoT did season 8.

The novel has a happy ending. I doubt the drama version would be the same 😭😭😭

Are SZH's feelings changing or is he realizing it now? I have been seeing gratitude since ep 1. He has been caring, loving and what not. But, now I see, there is a bit of desire. He is getting attracted to her. And, deep inside, he knows that his life is depleting and wants to live his life with Mi Lan.
