I've never seen a drama where FL spends more time with SML than ML. thats fine but atleast the ML should have…
At this point, I would pivot to making this about them being a “family” but as co-guardians. She can run off to the sunset with her SML. Woojoo grows between both groups, and maybe in the end, ML meets someone willing to work with him to create that family he always wanted, of course with his nephew still in the picture.
Let them FL & 2ML for now, they're just continuing their unfinished love story. Then she'll realize she's…
The premise was cute and all that. But as a person, an individual, someone like her who is not responsible, while playing entitled is a huge put off. It is not even about the ML versus SML, it is about this whole plot being about a child and his future.
Why are you girls mad to Hyun Jin? Realistically that's how you are, you entertain multiple suitors at the same…
Entertaining multiple suitors is one thing, treating one like my personal maid to take care of my responsibilities while playing around with the other and acting “pookie” is not it. If there is a clear preference, pick one and move on.
She's the girl who was engaged to the son who was lost but returns in the final few episodes. As a daughter-in-law,…
She was raised by the mother too along with her own 6 kids, which is why she calls her “mom” and the girls call her “sister”.
Mother wanted her to eventually become her daughter in law. But her son died young and she basically got sidetracked as the daughter/almost wife of the son.
If i remember correctly Madam Li adopted Qiong Nu when she was a child. So she's like a family member but not…
She was raised by the mother. The kids treat her like a sister and the mother had intended for her to marry her only son. But the son died and she basically lives like a widow.
Why do I feel like Chanel’s mom loved Son’s dad? That’s why she wanted Chanel to end up with Son so bad.…
I have a few theories.
One is what you shared. He is someone she liked.
Another one is, since this is all about the world not having boys. And with how rare it is, Son’s father and his seem to have no issue in that area. Just wondering if there is some connection to that as well.
AND I WAS ROOTING FOR MAX AND CHAL SM I CRIED OF HAPPINESS WHEN SHE APOLOGIZED TO SON AFTER SHE HUGGED HIM THIS…
I loved Chal’s moment with Son and the way they showed their relationship in this. How she said she knew him well… She and Son clearly have empathy for each other. They aren’t really harsh to one another.
Quite different from the aggressive treatment between these MLs and SFLs. I do not enjoy dramas where these two people who grew up together end up being really mean and cold towards each other’s feelings.
Son's father, I think, who was shot when both had attempted to escape. I don't know if they wanted to imply is…
I agree. If the boys are all raised exactly the same and their background is just that they grew up in the farm, there is no reason for her to be obsessed with Son.
It has to do with some sort of connection she has with Son’s father. I think it could be due to her liking him prior to this. Or since this is a plot about people not having male kids, could it be something connected to Son and his father obviously having male offspring. Just a thought.
Channel did say her mother was obsessed with having male children… throwing a rock into the abyss and guessing, maybe there is something special about Son?
I would have done the ending differently but oh well, I guess the writers wanted to go for impact. I also do not…
Well the character she was based on is a famous evil queen in Thai history accused of Mariticide/Regicide and Filicide. Apparently she, her lover and baby daughter were assassinated and …umm made an example of… so…
I hated the ending myself since her depictions in history are very different from this grey depiction of her which makes it sad.
because I'm a little confused, can someone tell me about the ghost, namely its history? why did it haunt Rawi?
The ghost is Pholeng’s grandmother. Years ago, she was married to his grandfather, but he didn’t love her, apparently she used her father’s influence to force their marriage even though he didn’t consent. He was in love with Rawi’s grand uncle (the priest). She was a little crazy in love and even had a son who wasn’t even her husband’s to trap him with her. She gets crazier by the day and abuses her husband’s lover, since he did not want her and finally decides to kill the lover (Rawi’s uncle). He ends up killing her instead in self defence. Years later she is still haunting the place determined to kill Rawi as revenge against his grand uncle.
It’s not just his parents. You can hear his friends call him A’Rang as well. It is a form of endearment or…
They are all cute ways to refer to him. Adding A’ to what is basically a first name is common generally, just a prefix. However Rang Rang is just a nickname she gave him.
I’m out to episode 11, it’s so very cute, but I have 2 questions:1. Why do the parents say A’rang? Is it…
It’s not just his parents. You can hear his friends call him A’Rang as well. It is a form of endearment or familiarity. Basically friends and family can use that prefix while using your name.
i couldnt get into this show, the ML gives me the creeps
He is quite young, but I do think the initial portrayal, costume and make-up comes of a little like that. But I personally was able to get past it in a few episodes. I do think, in an attempt to make it seem mature, they made him look creepy initially. It gets better once his costume and makeup switches to something more appropriate for his looks and age.
Is it just me who has found it IMPOSSIBLE to complete ANY of Zhou Ye's dramas? She's exceptionally beautiful but…
I think I sort of get what you mean. I had similar thoughts about her first few dramas, she doesn’t seem as convincing playing serious roles sometimes. But I do think she has grown to become a decent talent in the industry and still has a long way to go. I have been enjoying her last few dramas. She is not top of line. But is still quite convincing.
