But it's so sad that she died in such a very very young age :( .. I wonder why she needs to suicide? Is the life…
You have totally misunderstood my words. I didn’t say it was sad that SHE didn’t find help. Rather that the people around her didn’t notice it. I’m sorry, but it seems you reacted emotionally without trying to understand the meaning behind my words. I was literally condemning the people who didn’t notice or change their ways after all she went though didn’t notice or help her. And did you not read the beginning of my comment? I literally said it was difficult for the victim. I never blamed her. Please don’t turn the good intentions of others into something else.
Also I was responding to the comment that suicide is not the answer to problems and stating that it was probably not easy for her..
I finished this drama a couple of days ago and I absolutely loved it. I saw a few people her mention it had a lot of popular tropes and plot elements, I agree, but this drama made all of them memorable and heartwarming in its own way.
I love the queen and felt for her the entire time. She was for all intents and purposes a character that really made me feel “Mother”. The princes and their struggles were also very real. Even the King himself, despite his infinite weaknesses as a man and ruler had won me over his concern and pain connected to the welfare of his children. Sure, there are things missing and some situations are strange. But the core of this story is about the queen protecting her sons and her family, it is about parents and the older members of a family taking care of the ones who depend on them, the umbrella of protection. For that purpose it was brilliant.
For those watching, I do recommend thinking of a time where things were different and a family with rules that are unusual in our times.
Not trying to be negative or anything, but wow this comment did not age well. 😂It’s sad the actors got divorced…
It was something about the male actor doing it to improve his publicity. Overall it looked pretty bad for them. And I suppose there was a lot about how he seemed to be the less interested party while she was busy taking care of their child. I don’t know what is true and it is their personal life, so who cares. But the public seemed to have a lot of opinions.
I was just pissed at the final episode bc he ignored her for 3 years, and he was in Korea for a year and didnt…
That ending is the main thing that annoys me about this drama. What’s with the ghosting? I kept telling myself it was because he was still sick and he wanted to get back to her after recovering. But that’s just a dumb excuse.
On a side note, as much as I disliked that quick ending, I’ve got to say if Ji Sung looks into my eyes the way he did at the FL throughout this drama, I probably wouldn’t think straight either. 😂
I thought the story could have been told in far less episodes. There were so many things there that weren’t…
I really liked the ML. But the unnecessary characters and what seemed like endless episodes made it difficult. I always went excited when we completed and that music played when he did. Kept watching for that😂
Oh I just watched the end of episode 14 so his sentence is death... I have no words for how disgusted I am but…
Yeah, the point of that, although hard to digest was that both sides had to pay. He still killed a lot of people. It was a literal bloodbath, and who knows there could have been a few innocent people there. But I appreciate the fact that the bullies got punished too. Pretty sure the message is that this kind of treatment of others, the avoidance of the issues by the leaders could destroy lots of lives on both sides. If they hadn’t bullied him, or if one of their superiors had actually taken some action against the bullies, all of them would still be alive. In the end the victim became the perpetrators and the perpetrators also became victims. All their lives are ruined.
I have second lead syndrome now .cha won in should have ended up with the CEO Kang. 😑
Wait didn’t CEO Kag tell Bae Man that he did not have feelings for Woo In? Bae Man asked him and he nodded. I think they are just friends but they needed viewers to think he had a crush on her so we think of him as someone who could betray her over jealousy.
im really curious, does noh tae nam have any character development?
Oh his change was satisfying. He literally went through a good amount of hell, which is good because he did get away with hurting a lot of people. If it was not without hardship, it would have been unfair.
This looks good but is there romance, does the ML have personality. I've seen cuts and honestly non drama related…
You should try it out. She is actually a lot more empathetic than the ML. She is just a more hardened personality due to all the planning she has done for years, she is the character most revenge driven in the drama. Even the ML takes a huge part of his role as “helping her get revenge” more than his own vengeful agenda. But when times are tough or if someone is hurt, or if a case is particularly upsetting, she is the one who gets affected more. She is actually much kinder there.
Oh I was so annoyed by him in the first couple of episodes. But his character development is a huge part of the drama. And they did a decent job so wasn’t too annoyed by the end. I would have loved more, demons of his past come to haunt him scenarios though.
You know when you spend the majority of a drama falling in love with a character and then you get towards the…
I get what you mean, I really try not to fall for characters that are “unsafe.” The people destined to be the main characters with assumed okay endings are usually the ones I try to stay loyal to. But this time I fell in love with all the tragic ones. My heart was broken, crushed and incinerated by the end of this drama.
I am still at episode 8. I don't mind the romance part but does Kang Sung Mo have a crush on Yoon Jae In or does…
I don’t think it is a crush. He seems fascinated by her and also feels responsibility towards her. That’s what I felt. I think it made it seem like he likes her simply to make characters like Ji Soo and his brother feel upset or second guess his reasons for caring about Jae In.
Also I was responding to the comment that suicide is not the answer to problems and stating that it was probably not easy for her..

It’s sad the actors got divorced but there seems to have been a lot of flak over their marriage from the very beginning.
