I just started out and the ML is so obsessed with the Sticky Dough person that he literally does not notice her in every other shape or form. With all that arrogance I hope he pays š
Well, technically he is destroying his own romance, so I suppose he is paying š
Finally watched this. I have been ignoring the comments regarding the drama for a while to make my own judgement. I agree, its quality does drop after a few episodes. It felt like it ended about 5 times before the actual ending. The characters were great, villains were decent, I just think they should have been scripted more cohesively, rather than dropping each scenario, villain and arc like the difficulty levels in a game.
Hi yāall! I want to start this series and wanted to know, will I be disappointed to watch all 3 seasons? Do…
It has a bit of both, there is romance, medical content and also a good amount of hospital politics. Its mood and tone is not exactly the same as hospital playlist. That drama is more playful and more āfriendlyā. This is more about building new relationships and friendships and it comes off duller, but it is quite fun and you do get quite attached to the characters over time. It is sadder and tougher and at the same time very satisfying to watch as the general plot is not like hospital playlist which has established surgeons. This is about talented but neglected, lost, banished doctors becoming experts in their field with the support and inspiration from one great Surgeon.
Iād say, start with season 1/2 and see how it goes.
Not sure which episode you're at now, but FL eventually will. The process of undoing the effects of her upbringing…
Ok. Iām done!
I loved it. The different types of families portrayed in this drama were great.
The part where the FL and her brother both had it out with their parents was really realistic and satisfying. After suppressing both of them to the point of depression, of course they would both be resentful to their parents. Parents need to understand the difference between love and control, education and manipulation. And sometimes they need to let their kids make their own decisions even if they may be wrong. How else would they learn. How long and how far can our parents guide and support us? How can we support them if they are always trying to stay in control? It is a relationship not a power feud.
Power moment with the sister asking the mother to apologise.
I personally donāt support her holding evidence against the innocence of the brother hostage.
But letās be honest, if it was any other scenario or drama, if one of the characters wanted to get revenge for the humiliation of their parent we would cheer for them. It is perfectly understandable for the sister to want the people who hurt her family to apologise at some level to them too. They unapologetically ruined her brotherās life and embarrassed her family even after her brother and their daughter broke up.
She didnāt even go through with it which again I respect.

It is not tiresome due to any dislike to her character. I really like her role. What is tiresome is how relatable the scenario is and how different her reactions are due to her circumstances. A lot of Asian parents have a hard time letting their children do their own thing, and even the kids have a hard time balancing between loving and respecting their parents and doing what they love and making their own decisions. The relatable background but the fact that unlike many who find their courage, she is part of the other half that gets crippled from it all is just sad and that is suffocating to me. I feel like screaming at her parents for her. I really hope she finds her happiness, really rooting for her.
Just started this drama but does this FL ever not think of anything as not a burden? Family is a burden, responsibility is a burden, her job is a burden. She calculates everything by gains and losses and almost never does anything just to be happy. She is a nice sweet person, but she is so stressed about how everything is. About appearances and expectations. Her life is so tragically robotic and it messes with my head.
I get that it is due to the circumstances of her life, but living that way is just so exhausting. Just imagine the conditioning a person has to go through for them to shut down emotions the way she does sometimes. For me watching her characterās misery is a burden. I desperately want her to actually like the things in her life. Somethingā¦.
The acting is good and I am enjoying it though. I think both leads did a convincing job of portraying their characters.
It is taking every last bit of my control to resist watching this till a few more episodes come out.
I have a hard time waiting for new episodes so I usually start watching dramas when they have ended or are about to. The time it is taking for this one is excruciating. š„²š„²
I think by age and experience they are a good match. But it is how childish she is, plus her appearance that matches…
I doubt there was such deviousness in the relationship. The leads both seemed to how do I put this, naive when it comes to relationships to really be that devious.
To me it just seemed like it could seem like an off-key crush, like the one someone has to a teacher.
Anyways, I do like the drama and really donāt mind the relationship, mostly because I try not to dwell on the message of dramas most of the time. So for my purpose they are cute. But I do blame the writing for a lot of people including you having trouble with the romance bit. They really did not flush out the Male leadās character which can really make it seem kind of strange.
For my purpose, I was entertained. Sorry you had a hard time with it though. But I can understand.
At episode 7How can a person this much annoying...I don't understand why people ship Min ho with FL?....Je Wook…
They introduced MinHo first and honestly people know more about him than the ML. So they are automatically gravitating to him than the ML who is basically invisible the first few episodes.
Also the FL comes off too childish and innocent just like Min Ho. So again people like them.
I find the ML to be quite interesting though. I currently like him more than the other characters.
Main couple story feels so forced and creepy, gives the #metoo vibemore like "sunbae" taking advantage over emotionally…
I think by age and experience they are a good match. But it is how childish she is, plus her appearance that matches that kid-like behaviour that makes it seem so bad. I think the writers were so busy trying to make her innocent and cute that they forgot the part about how she is supposed to be a grown adult in a professional space.
On the other hand, they took all of those aspects a grown person should have a gave it to the male lead.
Honestly if they had reduced the effort they put into making the FL look childish and innocent and also helped her act in a better way atleast in her workplace. It would have been less creepy. The age difference is a common trope and many like it. I think the execution failed here a little.
Iām hallways through this drama and I think I finally see why some people are so against the ML and FL. She really seems too young and innocent in this version. Her approach to her crushes are like that of a high school kid. It comes off too silly from a grown woman and it ends up making the viewers think of her as a kid, especially since she looks quite young by appearance. By age and experience her and the ML seem to be a good match, but her behaviour makes it seem a little inappropriate since she comes off too naive.
I just finished this drama and Iāve got to say, I love the main couples featured in it. Iām especially partial to the friendship between Chae Kyung and Shi On. They make me think of real siblings/good friends who can make each other happy effortlessly. So much so that I was very sad for them at the possibility that the people they like might not choose them.
Iāve just started on this drama and Iāve got to say that the audacity of these mothers is incredible. Most of their kids are talented, but so many of them are exhausted from their familyās pressure. You can clearly see more than one instance of a child developing psychological problems and they donāt care. Instead they are spending all their energy stealing opportunities and viciously ruining lives of students like Hae Yi.
Parents are allowed to encourage their children, Iād even venture to say that if their child has a real dream, and lacks a little motivation they can also give them a little push, but it has to be in the spirit of being a team. Not to cause permanent damage to their minds and childhood.
But it's so sad that she died in such a very very young age :( .. I wonder why she needs to suicide? Is the life…
I understand. I found out about what happened to her only recently and it was quite sad as I had seen her in all these roles before and really enjoyed the characters she portrayed. It was quite sad. The entertainment industry can be cruel to talents and the public, with all these outlets to spread hate just make things worse.

Iāve dropped quite a few due to the same reason. Others may find it great, but sometimes it is hard to get past the Ick.
