Timeline jumps and lots of info. You have to pay attention to not miss details. Some folks , like me, might need 2 views to catch them all.1st ep kiss and relationship already in place.

Hao Ming is the unexpected perfect addition to her life plans. She caught his eye and then he stepped forward; almost too easy. Proving her worth to his family will be much more challenging. Attention to detail, patience, planning and luck is needed to build the life she wants. XY has all this plus the determination and tacit audacity to make it happen. The ladies are doing a great job slaying their roles. The subtle gestures and piercing words are top notch.

The range of the lead actors shows in this ep. There is in consistency in the series as a whole but as far as individual episodes go, this is one of the best. Both sides are relatable and its interesting to see how they choose to validate their reasons for their lies.

Fan Lei is a block headed stalker that needs a life but has obsessive rich girl syndrome. She did do our girl a favor (even tho it hurts right now) but she needed to know all was not as it seemed.

You know XY will win this fight and marry into the family eventually; but dang this MIL is determined, clever and patient too. Both women are keeping things classy on the surface level but scheming hard underneath. But Is it really scheming if she is literally working her butt off and just going after what she wants faster and bolder than anyone else? Is what she wants all that unreasonable? I personally don't think so. You decide for yourself.She does a graceful job matrixing around the entitlement and snobbery.
