My goodness, this drama tried to be everything at once: medical, fire rescue, romance, comedy, revenge, corporate espionage, environmental thriller and even human drama with all the trauma and forgotten pasts. As a result it succeeds at none of these, in my opinion. They should have slimmed down the story, made it a bit more simple.
God, this movie was bland. I am not a fan of the FL, but I wanted to see the ML in another project and see how he does. And the basic plot sounded cute as well, so I thought why not. It wasn't bad in the beginning but then it got soooo boring. After half the movie I was wondering when this would be over and it got worse the longer it went on. I only finished the last twenty minutes because it felt silly to drop the movie at that point. Rewatch value: 0/10
Me neither. I really wanted her to live as Riko and accept that her sister is dead. It feels as if both Riko and Naoki keep running away from the painful truth they don't dare confront. Not sure if this is being addressed in the special episode... I couldn't find it yet.
I started this because the title is quite clever and a drama with such a imaginative title can't be bad. And I am loving it! It never gets boring and the fight scenes are pretty dope. But everyone is bat-shit crazy in this!! Basically every episode a new character gets outed as insane. And Naoki is a manipulative bastard, a real anti-hero! I love it!!
It's so worth it checking out the Behind the Scenes of this drama. They are so great! I have the feeling they…
Do you happen to know if the unsubbed version on MangoTV is uncut or if it is identical with the version they put out on YouTube? And can you remember an episode where you saw a definite difference between the versions?
This was actually really cute... ^^ and the advertisement was not too bad, mostly just amusing. I really liked the song the characters were listening to in episode 6, so I looked for it. If anyone else wants to check it out, it's called 사랑인걸가 (pushover) by 비노 (vino). Not sure why the English title is pushover when the Korean title translates literally as "Is it love?"...
come on, it’s called my engineer, what did you expect? XD
As a hard core lakorn watcher, I can say that most series aimed at an adult audience do obviously not have a university setting. But even with the characters having jobs, you don't find many engineers. Lots of farmers and even more rich company owners. I have seen everything from architecture, aviation, import-export to jewellery. Series with heterosexual couples for younger audiences that are set in a university tend to have a bigger variety of majors than the bl variation. There is even a whole compilation called U-Prince where the male main character in every installment is studying at a different faculty. There are twelve different majors and as far as I remember none of them is an engineer.
Don't worry, that's not your fault. I tried searching WeTV myself to see if I could find the episode you were trying to post, but didn't find anything. How did you discover it?
Also the patchy white makeup on Qui Yue’s face in that ending scene was awful to say the least. I couldn’t…
I feel you!! And why were his ears not as white as his face? And why were his eyebrows and lashes black when the rest of his hair was white? Questions after questions...
I just binged the whole drama in three days and I loved it! The story was ridiculous, but who cares? I was living for the romance!
But the lack of budget really shows. I feel like they didn't have any money for the hair and make-up department left. I could always see the hairnets to keep the updo in place and where they attached the wigs on the guys faces. And in the last big emotional scene when they did a close up of Qiu Yues face, I got pretty distracted while counting his fake eyelashes when his double eyelid tape came off... ^^
OMG! That was one crazy drama! I have seen some crazy shit happen before in other lakorn, but this one takes the cake. This is basically one big pile of crazy from beginning to end. But I loved every minute of it! ^^ Not one boring moment! Definite recommendation!!
Also the high school uniforms and university ones are all the same as well
The high school and university uniforms seem to look roughly the same in all of Thailand, because in any other lakorn I have seen so far (not BL) where some type of student was shown the uniforms looked the same.
After watching episode 1, I like it a lot! It's a bit silly, but I was laughing the whole time. I hope the dramatics that are probably about to come will not ruin this hilarious premise.

By the way, intouchable is French for untouchable...
Not sure what is going on with this series...
