Episode 4 just feels like lazy writing. It's only two parts long and and we spent that whole time in uninteresting conversations with friends, most of who were never introduced and who I therefore couldn't care less about. Why not have an actual conversation between Vee and Mark where they address their problems?

I stopped watching right that moment. I didn't even finish the episode, so I didn't know if there would be an apology or not. I just knew if I kept watching, I would start hating the show because of how angry I was with the development.
Two weeks have passed and I have calmed down considerably. I have not started watching again though. The other day I was considering it, but couldn't convince myself yet. But I guess I will finish it at one point...

Cute, but the extra long flashback scene at the end was really not necessary. This movie is only an hour long, we don't need a reminder what happened the last 45 minutes for heaven's sake!

It has nothing to do with the company. The answer lies in the release date. Originally BLs were not forbidden in China as it was only a niche product and didn't attract that much attention. But then BL became more and more popular and also way more explicit, for example in Like Love or Addicted Heroin. So in 2016 the BL ban got implemented and already planned sequels were cancelled, like the third installment of this movie series. That's why since then every BL story with a film adaptation gets rewritten as a bromance, for example Advance Bravely, Beloved Enemy, Guardian, The Untamed. That is the only way for it to be produced at all. So if you want actual BL content from China the only option are films and dramas that were produced until 2016. Or you have to read between the lines and activate your imagination.

Basically it's attempted rape.
The ML and FL have a fight because the ML is jealous and he behaves like a prick. When she gets aggressive because of that he forces a kiss on her and pushes her on the bed and molests her. They stop before anything major can happen, but still... for me it ruined the mood. I can not understand how forcing someone is supposed to be romantic.
If I know I am watching a slap and kiss lakorn, I can deal with aggressive behaviour and even rape to some degree because that is what I expect to happen. But if it's supposed to be a rom-com that type of behaviour by the ML totally takes me out of the experience.

I definitely recommend it! Thai is such a fun language! Depending on your native language you might experience that differently, but I find the grammar to be rather simple and straightforward and as such easy to learn. But the script is super complicated as it has a lot of letters and even more spelling exceptions. But give the language a try!

You're welcome! This is basically the reason why I started learning Thai last year. I always hated it when subtitles were confusing or signs, letters and messages were not translated and I wouldn't even be able to look up what they ment, because I couldn't read the script. Glad I can help others as well. ^^

You are right. I had to go and check it again since I didn't pay too much attention when watching it. In my head they were talking about Tutor, so I didn't even realise that the subtitle says Fighter.
But the message says:
“You can invite Tor as well. He is very sad.”

It's only been 9 out of 13 episodes, but I feel like 2gether fits all your criteria so far...

Oh, and the translation of Fighters messages to Tutor was wrong. It says:
"Get better soon, Tor."
"Whenever you want me (to come over?), let me know."
"But today I went back home. Sorry, if I made you uncomfortable."

By order, it says:
"Are you okay, Tor?"
"I saw/realized that you were sick. I thought a lot about the thing with Fight."
"Can I give you an advice?"
"I think you should talk to P'Fight about his father. There should be a better solution than this."

My thoughts exactly! Dee is my favourite character from this lakorn. She is so extra and I simply have to respect her for being so unapologetically selfish. She is one bad-ass villain!

I was really liking this! And then came episode 13 and destroyed all my good feelings in one short moment. I had to stop watching right there. Not sure if I can pick this up again...

OMG! I am afraid of heights, so this movie was a bit of a horror trip for me. My hands are super sweaty... still enjoyed it though! ^^

Oh, and that the ML seems to be bipolar judging by his mood swings, doesn't help the overall enjoyment.
