Yeah, her relationship with the little maid is definitely out of the ordinary. They now live in a huge mansion…
That's what I also like about the drama - she treats the maid like a friend / bestie. They share food, gossip, and she splits the money with her. It's nice.
What I like about him is that he doesn't want to overstep - he wants to give her time to grieve and sort out her…
I think - for me - I'd probably be like her too. If someone I loved got murdered / killed like that, but the circumstances was murky, unclear, and nobody was really doing anything about it? Yeah. I'd be grieving. It'll probably be a relief when she finds out people are looking into it, but it might wreck her when she finds out grandma is behind it all. It also might provide her with some closure. But I don't want her to run to him because she is looking for pity, I want her to run to him because she finds him worthy. Which, I hope, we are starting to see.
ML was jealous so he was borderline happy FL had to drink extra bitter medicine. As in "You deserve some discomfort…
I lol'ed at that! "I wanna go home!" "YOU WILL SIT THERE AND DRINK THIS MEDICINE I MADE BECAUSE I LOVE YOU BUT I WANT TO PUNISH YOU BECAUSE OF REASONS."
After finishing ep 12, I feel Shen Jing Hong is not a villain in this series. He does like the Princess, but maybe…
I don't think he is, either. I think that the actor chose a non villainous role. But that shows his strength, that he can play both antagonists and heroes.
While everyone is laughing about the FL/ML banter, I think the love story between Shen Jing Hong and the Princess…
What I like about him is that he doesn't want to overstep - he wants to give her time to grieve and sort out her feelings. That he loves her so much that he is willing to play second and not overstep his boundaries, but he will continue to support and help her if it means to be a friend to her (if that's all she can give him).
But the actress is very good in this kind of role, she is like an evil Eartha Kitt 😈 Very charismatic!
I still can't get over when she was was so upset she was shaking in rage. Like, it was not over-the top, but the director focused on the shot of her just seething and I was watching her headdress just tremble in rage. That's some quality acting.
In the teaser for the next episode her granddaughter is like, well, she doesn't like non nobles. Figures. But nobody asked her to crawl out of her cave and look for food.
Trailer for Episode 13When she says she'll help Lord Ding to give birth to his daughters, he asks "How would you…
The translations say she'll just help him out, but I want a better translation then that. It seems he was looking for a confirmation of her feelings but he got miffed because it didn't exactly indicate if he is helping medically or physically. But knowing her, he took it medically.
Jeremy, gdi, be a vampire one day in a show. You could rock it if censorship just allowed it. :'(
