I'm a law student and the seminar was a part of the study of law of evidence. We were shown those pictures in order to understand how to distinguish between suicides and murders ;)

I liked the characters of the sister-in-law of course.I just wanted the actress to be a bit older as to match with the position of a medical director.I knw she's supposed to b young but a few more years older actress would have been more convincing.but I liked her in the end. After all she gave up frm her wedding day 2 even honeymoon package!!LOL!
Loved the ending of course.Specially those moments where they went back and showed us each of that events where they left clues previously.I saw on Dramabeans that they were bit disappointed with the length and ending.I don't know what else they would have cut if it were one episode instead of two as I found everything they showed in the last 2eps relevant.I also can't think how it could have been better as I loved the way they gave every character enough attention in the end.I don't know what they wanted, but for me,the ending was perfect :-D

Episodes 2&3:average.Episode4:emotional and heart-breaking.Episode5&6:Complicated and interesting.Episode 7&8:the continuation :)
hehe it indeed teaches a lots of things and specially helps you become stronger and makes it easier to tolerate 'sensitive' topics in real life.We had an special seminar where we had to see some photographs of people who committed suicide and those were pretty graphic.Few of us got sick but thanks to my rich history of crime show-watching,I'd say,I was able to deal with it ;)

I had mny fav heart-warming-crunching-beating family-caring,friendship-boning,sibling-love & couple-romance moments but oh! dear! NOTHING can beat that scene when the big bro sent Young Jae 2 Shiwon after learning the truth and he broke into tears. That moment alone gained this drama another point in the rating chart for me!I almost had tears in my eyes too(which smehow become a rare incident despite me being a crybaby due to countless Kdrama cliches and over-drama.Seriously!I think I'll be watching this scene over & over again.Although its very hard 2 single out 1 moment as fav in this drama.I've finally found mine. This one and the one when Young Jae confesses as both of them mark the most memorable example of brotherly love, respect and sacrifice devoid of any dirty trick or jealousy.Had I brother like that,I wud've given up anything for him-'n my anything INCLUDES first love as well ;-)

Eee the big bro got heartbroken-weee bad news!
awww Hak chan came back at the right moment-yoo lovely choice!
Ekkk Joon Hee's become lonely again-aeee how many times does this poor guy have to get hurt? painful moments!
Siwon-this girl rocks!Such a outspoken, honest, strong and smart girl is rare in Kdrama land! She amazes me everytime I see her.Young Jae-this guy's hilarious.Never seen a K-hero being a made a complete fool of himself by the girl he loves this way before!! Big Brother-he was always a genius but I was never a fan.Who knew he'd totally win me over by the end of the drama such an unexpected way! I've seen many not-so-ordinary cool guys in dramaworld but NONE of them can compare to him.His generosity, sincerity, sensibility, thoughtfulness and love for his younger bro is of whole new level! So glad that he found a partner at last :)

Special Affairs Team TEN is one of my most favorite crime dramas. The first episode was sooo complicated!! All those tangling events relating to the twins left me scratching my head in confusion...and the ending! Gosh I couldn't predict it at all!!

Cool!! This drama needs more love! I just noticed that we both wrote reviews and shared opinions on that page but never had an actual conversation.I loved your review :)
I also just noticed that we aren't friends yet! So I sent a request hopefully you wouldn't mind :)
Love your list. You indeed chose the best guys.Apart from these five you've already mentioned, there are few more characters I wish were real and had the opportunity to meet-
Shuji-Taisetsu no Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta
Enomoto-Kagi no Kakatta Heya and
Asakura Keita-Change

It is a perfect drama for rom-com lovers as it has countless cute and intimate moments. But for me,the best thing was the impeccable characters and bonding between family and friends. There were so many love-triangle and love-square but I couldn't hate any one the them. Each was beautiful in their own way.I'm not gonna say much as you haven't watched it yet but since u love Shut up flower Boy Band,I assure u that you'll love this one too.BUT do I think it's better than 1 Liter? HELL NO!!! :P
It includes numerous cameos of famous persons from the 90's,along with clever directing, cunning editing and convincing acting. There were moments between parents, siblings and friends which blew me away,,,,still I think 1 Liter is of a higher level.May be I really am being biased this time.Well,it was my first love after all ;-)

One of my MDl friends, the opinion of whom I consider with high regard told me that she dropped BM as it felt boring and shallow. She also agreed that 1 Liter was way better. But I STILL held the idea of giving it a try in my endeavor to remain open-minded and tried to follow the principle that the specialty of great stories are-not what happens but how it happens. However, now that even you have affirmed my belief that this drama is indeed overrated no matter how much the fans claims it not to be so,I think I'll be giving it up and save some time :)
Now let's move on ti Answer to 1997.I have only one episode left and I can fairly say that it indeed is very entertaining. The main theme is nostalgia clothed in a love story and the writers, the directors and the editors did an splendid job in turning an ordinary story to an extraordinary one.It start slow but gradually hooks u up.

But I failed to understand why it was so popular here on MDL.The story was predictable, twists wee forced, emotions superficial and acting average.I mean I didn't even watch the drama but was 100percent sure just by reading the recaps the there's gonna be a love triangle between those three, that his best friend would turn to be his sworn enemy, that one of the main characters is gonna die and was 90% convinced that the girl would be the one to die and probably the one killing her would be the rejected second guy followed by his suicide.I stopped reading the recaps after a while as I got bored but still thought of giving this drama a try as it was so popular. But then the last episode aired and checked it out to know how it ends. And omo!it ended exactly how I thought it would! Now how on earth am I supposed to enjoy this drama?

I'm gonna LOVE you forever for saying this dear!! Thank you so much!! Seems I'm overreacting don't I? There's a reason!
You remember the article rejoicing when BM became number one on MDL? I was a bit frustrated after reading that one as the author didn't even watch 1 Liter before declaring BM worthy of being number one instead of 1 Liter.I even felt a bit guilty for thinking that way as I hadn't watched BM.However,I did follow the recaps of it on Dramabeans for a quite long time.Although the recaps highly praised the drama and the rating too were going up each week,I was convinced that this drama lacked one thing which I always look for in a good drama- genuineness and sincerity.I understood why it had such good rating-it incorporated in the story extreme nationalism and severe patriotism.I understand it had to be appealing to the Koreans for the historical aspect of the drama.

Watched the next 4 episodes! Omo! It's unrequited love all over now!! I feel bad for each of them! I was completely heart-broken over the puppy confession!! Eeee.Poor guy!!
btw,now I understand what you meant by excellent editing.wow! They really did everything they could to make it harder for the audience to breathe while watching this drama ,didn't they?!!
I also understand now why this drama was so popular in Korean. How could it not be? It's 90's stars all over! So many cameos by famous people! so many references to old crazes!! This drama is perfect for guessing or seeking game u know! Guess who that celebrity was or seek where they made cameos! Hehehe :D

Mother is indeed an excellent drama. The title couldn't be more fitting as you'd get to experience the love, sufferings and choices of different mothers. The drama tends to be a bit slow though, therefore pick it up when you are in the mood :)
But the child genius actress Ashida Mana will definitely win you over and she alone is enough to make any one fall in love with this drama ;-D
Due to my slow internet I always have to download dramas in order to watch them.Streaming sites are not very helpful in my country unfortunately. If you wish I can find you the downloading sources.

If you are afraid of tears, then 1 Liter is probably not for you.But if u don't care about how many liters of tears you're going to have to shed and focus on the significance of the story, depth of the characters, thoughtfulness of the dialogues and strength of the family bonding, you're bound to love it :)
1 Liter of Tears was a massive turning point in my dramas watching history. It taught me a lot of things and I still wonder how much it has affected me in my real life.Whenever I find myself in an adverse situation,I tell myself it's not nearly as bad as what Aya had to go through so be strong! And I immediately feel a bit better!A bit silly right?! :P
I'm sorry,I promised that I'd give you my objective opinion but this is one of those very few dramas in cases of which it's almost impossible for me not to be biased.

I believe we'll get along.Although I'm a bit shy and quiet and find it difficult to immediately blend in,I'm very friendly and cheerful by nature(which you might have guessed by the number of emoticons I use in each post!! :P).I always respect the opinion and preferences of others so it wouldn't matter at all if our favorite lists aren't similar :)
I think the circumstances in which you picked a drama also play an important role. For example,Hana Kimi, being my first drama, left a great impression on me.But to be perfectly honest, if I watch this drama now,I don't think I'd be able to love it so much as I did when I watched it for the first time.I've already watched greater dramas and the more I watch, the more picky I become. That's what happened with Personal Taste,I had already watched dramas with similar genre and story and therefore, it failed to bring something new and appealing :)

Watched ep 5-6.It was SOoo cute!! Never thought Yoojung and Hakchan would get together so soon!! Cuteness all over!! <3
And dear, though I like that Siwon is spirited and strong or whatever..she makes me soooo frustrated!! How on earth can she be so oblivious of the feelings of her closest and oldest friend?!! And Yoonje is not even trying to be super secretive or anything!
