You've already finished 1 Liter of Tears! Yaay!(Hehe!!)
I'm glad you liked it.Check out the special too.The special mostly consists of flashbacks of the original story but it also shows how the family and friends of Aya deals with her death. so it won't take you to long to finish it as you'll be able to fast-forward a lot.
I'm watching Rich Man Poor Woman.I'm currently on episode 7.So far it doesn't look very promising. The "Buzzer Beat style' annoys me and I fast forward in every episode.I think I'll be sticking to it nonetheless for two reason-1.I adore Oguri Shun 2.Satomi-Shun have good chemistry and look cute together.

I know what you mean. For siblings who love and care for each other so much, there should have been more moments expressing the bond they share.Father-son moments did feel a bit forced as it was kinda sudden and there wasn't enough time for slow evolution of their relationship. However, I personally rejoiced whenever Colin gave Do Jin a hard time..couldn't but think 'serves you right'!! :P
You got me wrong.I also think Do Jin and Yi Soo had excellent chemistry.Just that later on I started to think that their love life was being given more time and attention than was necessary and wished a part of it to be allocated to MeAhri-Yoon or Min Sook-Rok.Also the way Yi Soo acted sometimes was slighly unacceptable for me.

Perfection itself. No other drama could ever hope to achieve the level of excellence and brilliance of One Litre…
Couldn't agree more d(^_^)b

Overall,AGD was a pleasant surprise. It left me eagerly waiting for the next episode and I know that I?m going to re-watch this drama for those selective hilarious moments :-D
Btw excellent review on Taisetsu no Koto wa Subete kimi wa Oshiete Kureta and AGD.You said exactly what I wanted to say d(^_^)b

It was hard to choose a fav but I think favored the character of Tae San a bit more than the other three. Yoon was worthy of admiration for his reasons and resolutions.Jung Rok always left me shaking my head hopelessly instead of making me angry. I liked Do Jin more when he was with the other three than when he was with Yi Soo.I liked the wickedness of Colin.Athough all those dramas of ?father-son reunion? didn?t excite me much,I enjoyed his brief appearance and the moments of ?friendship of the next generation?.
Min Sook-I liked, admired and pitied.Yi Soo-didn?t love, didn?t hate ?but I?m very curious to know how you evaluated her as a teacher.Meahri-basically her character was pretty annoying but thanks to the amazing performance of the young actress,I was able to accept, forgive and even laugh with her.

I wanted to know more about the past of Jung Rok-Min Sook couple. Also it was pretty apparent that the writers\directors didn?t put much effort in building the chemistry between Yoon and MeAhri(probably because of the age gap)..which is a pity as I thought they looked pretty cute together.
The humor was perfect. Those cracking opening of the episodes were something I eagerly looked forward to.Although the drama consisted of 20 episodes and obviously lost it sharpness and became a bit insipid in the middle,I never considered of either dropping or skipping any episode?.the credit I think again goes to those crazy ridicules.
The main four characters I loved. As I said before, for once,I didn?t involve myself in incising and analyzing the depth and growth of the characters or their actions.I just took then the way they were for granted and hoped that eventually they?d mature.

However, for once,in AGD, I was able to overlook those elements and actually enjoy the drama. I think that is the proof of the fact that how well AGD succeeded in making the best use of the elements which I do prefer to watch in a drama.
As I mentioned earlier,I absolutely loved the friendship of the four guys. The actor were simply AWESOME!! If I had to vote for best chemistry, then I?d go for the chemistry among these guys instead of any of the couples. Whenever they were together, they just nailed it. I loved all of their scenes?well almost ;)
The main couple was too lovey-dovey for my taste. At first it was cute but later on they started to give me Goosebumps!Hehe!Anyway generally I liked all the couples as I appreciated the meaningful message-?There is no perfect person in the world. There are only imperfect men and women perfect for each other?.

I have seen some people accusing this drama of not having any significant story and criticize and condemn it for its lack of depth and cheesiness. However,I couldn?t agree with them. From the very first episode I knew that this was a drama I was NOT supposed to take seriously...and by the time I finished the first two episodes,I knew that I going to love and enjoy it nonetheless as it has the two strongest elements which always succeed to hook me up-Friendship and Humor!!
You may think that my views are bit old-fashioned but dramas which emphasize on sexual tension, exhibit fashion obsession (though it has become an inseparable part for K-dramas),ensemble characters wearing skimpy clothes or deals with ?adult perspective of life and living? are not my thing.

Before I started AGD,I was quite skeptical to be honest.AlthoughI heard it was funny, I was pretty convinced that it was going to be another ?Woman who still wants to marry?. But wow!! What a surprising drama it turned out to be! I LOVED it!!!
First of all, I used to think that I mostly go for dramas with meaningful stories.Even in rom-coms, I liked to examine and analyze the characters and story development. However, some recent dramas with light, carefree and whacky elements (like Legal High,Evasive Inquiry Agency and AGD)are compelling me to redefine my taste in dramas!

wow i see that everyone here like this drama ._. so i guess i'm the only one who didn't like it that much .n.
The only thing I liked in this drama was the Pil Sook-Jason couple. The rest of the story bored me to death.Hye Mi must have been one of the most annoying female leads I've seen so far in a drama.

'Korean Mystery Detective'-The name's very appealing I must say as I love mysteries!! I'll put it on my PTW list:)
You meant Jumong right? The problem with historical dramas is they have too many episodes.I wouldn't mind it even an year ago but now that I'm in my final year, pressure of study has started to get me and it's taking longer than ever to finish a drama :'(
I'm on episode 14 and still loving it.Although it seems the story's going to get a bit weepy from now on,as long as they keep up the humor,I'm with it :-D

Sorry for the late reply. My PC suddenly demanded to go on a sick leave :(

Ah thanks for mentioning Buzzer Beat! It's so popular that I usually try to be a bit careful while commenting on it but, honestly,I don't want J-dramas to continue such style for the sake of popularity. As people demanded, this one focused on romance only without putting any effort in enriching the sub-plots or paying any attention to the character development.
Haha yes.Watching 1 Liter in between two happy dramas is a great idea! But don't forget to enlighten me when you finally get to watch it.I'll be eagerly for this one :)
You are into Korean historical dramas I see.I've watched a few but so far Deep Root is the only to capture my heart :)
Guilty Akuma will definitely remind you of Maou. The drama's good but it could have been a lot better...that's how I felt :)

I'm from Bangladesh :-)
The Devil is the original version and Maou is its Japanese adoption.Devil has 20 episodes and it provides a lot of details.Considering the style, music and acting The Devil is way better than Maou...but that's just opinion.I may even be a little biased since I watched The Devil first.Maou isn't bad but everything happens so fast here that I didn't get sufficient time to grow any emotional attachment to the characters. On the contrary,The Devil left a great impact on me and the lead two characters were truly memorable due to the outstanding performance by the actors.
I know what you mean.My classes have already started and it's very hard to find time for my dramas :-(
So far I love all the characters of AGD.Haven't been able to pick a favorite yet ;)

There's one thing I've been curious about for a while. If you don't mind me asking-why haven't you watched "1 Liter of Tears"?Is it because it's a sad story? This drama has one of the best love stories I've even seen in a drama.
Good Luck!,Itoshi Kimi E,Jin,Proposal Daisakusen, Taisetsu no Ko,Change,Last Christmas,Guilty Akuma to Keiyakushita Onna-all have subtle but significant love stories. It's hard to believe that people overlook wonderful stories like these and accuse J-dramas to be devoid of good romance!

Now about your comment on "Rich Man Poor Woman".I haven't watched it yet but I think I do have an idea why this on is o popular.I'll discuss it at length after watching it.But what do people mean by "he succes of this j-drama is proof that people want to see love stories in dramas. J-dramas are way too focused on anything else but romance. It's time to get back to the roots of the dramas"?! J-drama world is blessed with some great unforgettable love stories! Most of my favorite J-dramas have beautiful romance.Do they mean the lack of open expression of affection in J-dramas...unlike K-dramas such as "Queen In-Huyn's Man"? or "Lie to Me" and the kind?!I myself is perfectly happy with the considerate romance in J-dramas and it'd be really disappointing if they try adopt the style of Kdrama.

I don't know if it'll suit you taste dear.It neither stimulates your deep consideration nor bear hidden significances. However, it IS funny. If you like Shida Mirai, you'll enjoy this one as her facial expressions were excellent :)

You may find the second reason a bit ridiculous-the existence of romance! Yeah!In the first couple of episodes I saw few cute moments between the lead guy and the supporting girl.I thought they had good chemistry and unintentionally hoped for them to be together.Later on when I came to know that the ?true couple? in this drama weren?t those two,I was convinced that it would be hard for me to accept the pairing of our gracious President and the friendly lead guy.I would have preferred if they were good friends only. I don?t mean that just because she became the President she was to remain single. But I think it?d be much better if they went with two separate romance or no romance at all idea \(^_^)/
But since you liked it so much,I think I?ll give it another try later on :)
