The Only issue I have is, their treatment towards the fiance. Imo, they're not treating him as harshly as they should and are showing him only as some flawed guy. But he's worse than that. He wasn't only two timing but with the thought that he needs to be satisfied by keeping a pure wife and having a sexy mistress at the same time(he says so). That's not just a flaw. That's a pathetic guy and as a character he deserves more than a slap on wrist. He even forces a cheek kiss knowing very well she flinches away from his kiss. He did that only to show his dominance and stubbornness. That's simply abuse. You cannot show a character this pathetic and then be lenient later on in treatment of his character. A pathetic character deserves to be treated as such and not just showing that he's just normally flawed. I love jdramas so much but this is where many Jdramas have disappointed me. Their obsession with humanising even the pathetic guys and their pathetic actions... Not every human needs to be humanisied or show humanely flawed. Some of them are just a&&holes and should be shown as such. Humanising only validates actions of a&&hole men.

I can speak and understand english language very well, but if I start speaking and writing my language, you would start crying in confusion, kid. Focus less on defending racism and try reading more about your own language and improve your comprehension skills in your own language. You need it a lot. Also, "Genie" costume you keep speaking of, which is racism itself, you should improve your knowledge about geography and regional cultures. The "Genie" costume concerns middle east people more than me, Indian. You wouldn't even know which part here was from middle east and which from India. Such people with such little knowledge should consider shutting up. That's what I believe

Seriously, these people. Kdramas are being sold at international level. Their dramas are always in top 10 on Netflix in these countries. And yet the same kdrama industry treats the culture of same countries this way. Of course they should face the criticism. They can't be ignorant when they're selling their shows internationally. And this isn't even the first time they're being racist. Plus idk what tf was even funny in that whole video lol.

Episode 4 was good as well. Manami is so frustrated at herself for not being able to stand up for herself against her father. And ughhh I want her mom to divorce her pathetic dad. That forced cheek kiss by her fiance was just him showing his dominance on her. Hate him.

It was clearly shown that she lied about sleeping with him. Fmc couldn't call cops before knowing about her student lie because the student lied to the club as well about being an adult. And calling cops will also put her own student in distress and tons of rumours. And it's on the student's parents to decide what to do. She can't take that decision on their behalf. Like there are manythings and can't be just as easily dealt with

I don't know if this drama was criticising patriarchy or promoting patriarchy in a sweetly coated way?? For a drama that was supposed to talk about patriarchy, it sure had more scenes where they romanticised patriarchy. For a female lead that was supposed to have a feminist pov, she sure was apologising her arrogant FIL all the time and blaming only her mom for the absence in her life. The only good thing about this drama were main actors and pale blue (thanks to Kenshi Yonezu)

Surprised to see no negativity on this page. Anyways, I'm enjoying this drama a lot. Like they say, it's not heart fluttering kinda romance but a romance that would put your nervous system at ease? Lol something like that
