Also, that hotel scene where he signs like the usual but then writes his own name when alone. Recalling the way she taught him. That was such an intimate scene and so tenderly done. Beautiful !

So far (2 eps) this drama is my most favourite from this season's dramas. When the first posters came out with synopsis, It caught my attention and I was sure I'd watch it. But then I was scared about uncomfortable age gap that may happen (as in, what if the guy was a teenager or her minor student lol) I Love jdramas but they have fair share of questionable plots. Minor ×adult being the one of those. But I was so glad he's 23 yo. They still have a huge age gap and I don't mind that. It's supposed to be unconventional. At least he's not a high schooler or barely 20. Anyways, I'm really liking directing, storytelling and music. I hope it stays good till the end.

People are saying "why is the rating low" but 7.6 is actually okay for a jdrama. That too initially😂 (as only 2 eps are out for international viewers. So far)

bcs it is japanese series
So true. I'm so tired of reading the same thing again and again by so many people "Jdramas are cringe. Acting is cringe. Cinematography is bad" and all they watch in name of jdrama is "coffee and vanilla" and Morning call and etc etc. when Jdrama in one season itself releases so many dramas. How are people judging whole industry just by watching those few hyped dramas? Jdramas have some real high quality dramas. Hardly, you would find such interesting plots in any dramas. Acting is good too. It's not like other dramas industry don't have good share of bad actors. Cinematography of Jdramas anyday clears cinematography of other industries dramas. The prejudices is still there. Even in 2025. And it's annoying.

Review Revenged Love
Also, the misogyny in this drama is so annoying. I really tried to ignore all to enjoy the drama because leads have chemistry but no. As a woman, I can only ignore misogyny once or twice in shows. But the whole reason of female character's existence is to insult her in every way. Sadly, bunch of viewers enjoy this trope

I haven't watched a Jdrama since forever as I usually find the acting style and script rather cringey. But omg…
Japanese dramas have varieties. It's sad that many people think they only make cringey dramas. They make some of the best slice of life drama without any dramatic effect or acting. You can find the weirdest plot, cringey plot, heartwarming plot, and much more. Acting varies with genre.

I think they all need to complete the script, only then can she be out of the script world. And if she dies before that, then it gets reset or something?

I do agree with pace part, it's alright for me. I was annoyed in ep 21-23 but it got better. But I also get it that not everyone is going to wait for so long with slow development. But my point also is that there's just too much hate for. To the point people saying that Yiting deserves him and not Yimeng

You're fast forwarding her scenes and that's leaving out all her improvement parts. She's having progress literally from ep where for the first time Nan Heng opens up to her for the first time during that horse ride scene. It's Slow progress but it's there. I agree that somewhere writer and director did fail in giving her more monologues, so, I would take taht criticism but it's not like they're not giving her anything at all. People are just ignoring her scenes now which have GROWTH written in it. Some said, why was she so harsh at him in ep 24 when he came to her room, but the scene literally shows that NH says "he won't leave no matter what she says" and they focuses on her face showing why she gets harsh then. People refuse to see all this. Again,I fo believe Writer-director could have done better but people are acting like there's just nothing. And they're getting as frustrated to other viewers as they claim Yimeng to be.

Omfg... I literally had to stop live watching the drama because these comments are so gross its crazy. I guess…
The most pathetic comments are "NH and Yiting should be together" I hope these people don't enjoy the show when NH and Yimeng are together lol. It's just pure frustration they're taking out at fl. Because how tf you say , Yiting should be with NH, only she deserves him, Yimeng is this that. Damn, this isn't even a constructive criticism but just pure hate towards fl for what reason,I have no clue. I have dropped so many costume dramas, precisely because of how fls often get easily soft towards mls. One moment he would be strangling her and next moment, she's going soft for same man. But I realised people prefer such fls.

Interesting theory. It definitely seems that Nan Feng was Nan Heng himself. Because why else he would be presented in such a way. He was not speaking, not interested in script or anything and the goggles all the time. But I wonder redemption for what. And I wonder if the real script parts Actually happened in some parallel universe

Oh. So emperor indeed is cooking something not against NH but for NH it seems. I at times thought 18th prince was just acting being a dumb guy and was plotting with emperor lol
