you sent this twice
oops. Thanks. It did one of those things where the page tells me something went wrong and doesn't show the comment, so I post again and end up with TWO of the same comment.

i have a lot to say about that 1) this is fiction. people should learn to separate fiction from reality. what…
Wow. Do you not have even a remedial sense of humor?
I was mocking the very people who spout all the nonsense you just laid out.
In other words, I agree with everything you wrote; you just took all the fun out of doing so. Good job!
How can you possibly be so earnest and serious about a silly, comical over-the-top show like this?
I love toxic relationships in fiction. They make for the best drama!
You know, you can pick up a sense of humor fairly inexpensively at Target these days. Maybe Walmart too.

Episode 3:

YESSSSS! An entire scene devoted to a very common phenomenon, the morning boner. I haven't been this excited since SaiphaZon Story! 🤪🤪🤪
Wow...an office staff dinner featuring abusive alcohol consumption. Haven't seen THAT before!
Though it's true I've not seen the Beer/Soju combination drink before.
This show seems to exist in an alternate gay universe where most guys are gay and rampant sexual harassment in the workplace is the norm. I'm in!!!😍😍😍

Key Hyun Woo is extremely handsome. Those freaking cheekbones. Seems to be a talented actor too. All this silliness feels real coming from him. He did a very convincing drunk scene. Most BL drunks are WAY over-acted.

Fun, stupid show. I'll keep watching.

Episode 2:

Lee Jun's exhausting schedule for first day of new job:
Meet cute with new boss and flirt.
Discover he just happens to be your childhood bestie.
Be sexually harassed by new boss.
Attend lame meeting with 40 other interns about vague new product called "Hair/Perfume"
Chat with other interns about the bizarre concept of being expected to work hard and do well.
Flirt-chat on computer with new boss.
Go buy coffee and snacks with friend who got you your job.
Be sexually harassed by friend but act clueless.
Discover a shameless Fujoshi works at the coffee shop. (Yay Fujoshis!)
Act like you don't notice Fujoshi is a Fujoshi.
Go back to office to drink coffee and eat snacks in a little party room.
Stand in the office kitchenette area and talk to self out loud like a crazy person.
Experience office manager intentionally making you dump coffee on yourself.
Be told by manager, right there where anyone could see them, to undress.
Act coy and confused.
Experience boss starting to undress though he has no coffee on his shirt, but then stop for no reason.
Don't undress, but want to.
Act like you don't want to.
Be sexually harassed physically by manager, ie. arm around waist, pulling close to him by necktie.
Act like you don't notice anything odd about being sexually harassed/propositioned by boss for third time in one day.
Hear boss tell you he's going to "leave his smell on you" but act like that's a normal thing to say.
Click around on keyboard a few times.
Get invited to a group dinner with the boss when earlier he invited you to join him privately. hmmm...
Complain with 40 other interns about the stress of having a nice dinner and drinks paid for by the company.

All in a hard day's work!
To summarize: Do no work, be flagrantly sexually harassed and propositioned by two men but pretend to not really notice. Well done! Excellent strategy! Love it!

Episode 1:

Love the flirting/sexual harassment from the first moment they met. lol Where are all the MDL Little Girls who I'd expect to already be here shrieking about sexual power dynamics in the workplace and the inappropriate, problematic behavior of the general manager toward his new subordinate? "This is TOXIC!!!"🤪🤪🤪

Ki Hyun Woo is extremely handsome but in a unique way. Stunning dimples and cheekbones. Yes, I am objectifying him just as he is doing to his new intern.

Highlight of the episode was the MC as two little boys on the playground. Their hug turned my blood to warm cocoa with marshmallows. So precious to see kids freely express their emotions before adults teach them to be self-conscious and ashamed of what they feel, especially when it comes to boys. One of my dearest memories is of my son as a pre-schooler. He had a little best friend named Sam. Whichever one of them got to the school first would wait at the drop-off point and when the other arrived they would joyously hug and walk into the building hand in hand. As soon as the two of them linked for the day, whoever was dropping them off - my wife or I - ceased to exist. hahaha. SO adorable and heartwarming.

The leads are too young-looking for these parts but I've a feeling this isn't the kind of show where we need concern ourselves with matters such as realistic casting and Hollywood-level acting (which is often bad anyway). I think I can roll with this.

EPIC.
Another great film criminally underrated by MDL viewers. Up is always down and vice-versa with the ratings on this site.

The ending is completely unexpected and completely perfect.

Bae Doo Na is the worst Korean actress of all time. Cannot stand her. Her presence wrecks every show she's in. Ugh. She cannot act. Always the same expressions, especially here, where she looks positively intellectually disabled most of the time.

I am a huge fan of Gong Yoo but even his excellent acting, presence, charisma and looks can't save this show from the annoying BDN. And wouldn't you know it: She's a nepo baby. Sad that so many actors all over the world get so far ahead in the business simply by virtue of being born to famous parents.

Dropped.

They made a mockery out of these beloved character through rushed and lazy writing. As viewers, we deserve better.…
Totally agree. Shin would have to be emotionally unhealthy to remain in this so-called relationship this long, and yet the plot won't even give us THAT explanation. Shin just keeps on taking for...reasons.

Well...one step forward, 3/4 of a step back is better than nothing, I guess. But not much.

It's not that this story couldn't be told, it's that the writing is so freaking bad that it makes no sense. There's little more here than endless repetition of what we've already seen 30 times. Even today's ending was the same ending as the episode before. Seriously? It's a writing problem but of course the director is ultimately responsible for...noticing.

The series is shedding viewers with each episode. If I had any sense I'd be one of the shed.

And having a side-plot/couple that is nothing more than a slight variation on the MC's story is...lame af. The LAMEST aspect being there is NOTHING about Shu-the-Undertaker that would make him the least bit attractive to the adorable and kind/sweet/bighearted/adorable Asuka, yet his frustrated longing for this person is the heart of that story arc. The audience needs to see WHY Asuka is so smitten with this curmudgeonly and unattractive dude for it to be the least bit believable.

I acknowledge that Akira can be ADORABLE and hilarious when flustered and freaked by his strong feelings for Shin and his inability to express them, by his jealousy and the comical ways he sometimes handles it, but rather than those precious moments moving the story forward and changing him, we keep ending right back where we started. Again, lame.

I feel badly for the show and the actors because Akira, Shin and Asuka, and the actors who play them, are talented, appealing and cute. The script pulls the rug out from under them every episode, sadly. What needs to happen is that Shin duct-tapes Akira to the floor mats and gives him exactly what he wants but can't bring himself to say out loud.

I'll keep watching because I love watching those three on screen and because the episodes are short so my many other frustrations are brief. :D

It would be SO realistic, angsty, dramatically effective, and moving to see Shin do what someone as intelligent but bighearted as him would HAVE to do to end his constant state of pain and frustration, which would be to move out of that house and begin to move on emotionally. If, at that point, Akira made a HUGE leap and came after him, truly willing to change, that would be epic. But this show so far doesn't seem to have what it takes to present such a strong, compelling plot development.

I don't even WANT Asuka and the Undertaker to make nice. Asuka deserves MUCH better, period. As things are now, he just comes off as a masochist who is attracted to people who don't treat him well. The thought of them together makes me want to hurl.

Finally, this show could right all its wrongs and attone for all its sins with a mega-penultimate scene in which Akira comes to Shin, not the other way, and we see the most tender, sensual, gratifying, emotionally-rewarding love/sex scene in all of BL history. Can you imagine the rapturous joy Shin would experience, far beyond the physical; and the mind-exploding liberation that would move Akira to another planet during such an incident?

I seriously doubt this show, its writers or director have it in them to blow our minds with such a development, but that's what should happen.
