Yes Gu Xiaoxing did some things that caused some trouble to leads relationship but she’s not spiteful or evil. She likes the man, told his ex she’s going after him bc he’s divorced. Jincao sees her as a loving mom to her son and sympathizes with her situation. Now that he’s straightened her up about his forever love to his wife after he cleverly got her to admit her wrongdoing, he knows something is wrong when she made a turnaround at the truth of their relationship in the hearing. He’s just concerned for her and especially her son Guo.
Moli too has her reasons. She sees beyond anything good as she’s hurt by the woman’s schemes. She can’t accept Jincaos words but only see the woman as the enemy. I understand.
I have expressed the remaining eps so if anyone is interested or suffer from drama anxiety like myself, see below…
How did you watch the rest? I’m anxiously waiting but stuck on 18. I’m tempted to read your spoiler but this is one drama I’m enjoying and want to see it through.
Every character in this drama is alive and really has its own humane value, like you really relate with each of…
Definitely slice of life drama. I feel sorry for Jincao and the experience of his past that made him so passive but he’s a grown man now. I couldn’t watch him continuously just watch his dad berate his wife. He’s seen what his dad did to his mom, to him growing up. At some point he needs to stand up for something so that sounds like an excuse to me. Character or real life in his situation, he has to show up to something. Moli is a superwoman, 7 years on top bunk? lol. She really really loves her man.
I think the whole point of the divorce is to give the out view of its complexity as well so it’s refreshing. Never have i seen a plot line this nor actually heard of it in real life. Therefore, its genius creativity from the usual arcs of marital problems plots. I thought their plan would be fairly easy, restoring their marriage but as we can see, there’s so much more into it. The good thing is that it’s pacing really well, not prolonging arcs, and it’s so interesting. There’s sprinkles of things to really apply as well to life. My only disappointment is lack of skinship for a couple who lives far from each other and supposedly really in love. Other than that, it’s near perfect for me.
At ep 10 and just gotten through another hurdle. At the least, they’re able to resolve immediately. But already foreseeable problems to come right at end. Still good.
Agreed. My current problem. I’ll like the start of many but when it rails off in middle, I drop it. If this one continues at current pace, it’s decent.
This is so good. A couple who can’t be “couple” because their apartment with in laws is so small. It starts out like that to other cultured beliefs of relationships within family that rocks this couples marriage. They long for simple days which doesn’t come easy so they go to extreme measures to try and find their needed time. This is a really good slice of life drama and casting is very good.
I hope this is only to get out of his contract bc I really enjoy his work. Jeremy Tsui is a fun actor to watch. Sad his career seems to had to come to this meaning he’s burned out or not happy. Retirement too is good as long as it’s really what he wanted. Best wishes to him.
Lin Yu Shen is a handsome man and I enjoyed his ‘love struck’ acting in this show. His tender care for Zhao Lusi character and their great vibes made it work. Goes to show both their acting ability is versatile and professional.
