I’m so glad they’ve written the leads really well. I was annoyed at Lord Ding and his sacrificial decision to leave, even MuZ for going after him. BUT, they’re such a formidable partner to rescue the kingdom. At least they’ve identified the culprit so as we move into the last ten episodes, hopefully they wrap it up nicely with the showdown to come.
It’s not for everyone because cast are mature as well as story of their lives. Probably older audience can gravitate better to this kind. I’m of that so I was able to be engaged in it.
It is fully subbed on YT. I liked this a lot. Cast did a very good job. Storyline is pretty good. It’s a mixture of corporate, mystery, revenge, and romance. Don’t be put off from first few episodes as it set out the premise of the story. As it progresses, it becomes very engaging. I’m so glad I took time with it as it had me finally engaged verses a slump from dramas that more than often give the same vibes. Love the mature cast here…everyone but of course, especially leads.
This was a fun watch. ML’s back constantly looking out the beautiful skyscraper will be memorable for many levels. This is fast paced in everything. Once they liked each other, boom they got together. There wasn’t hordes of push and pull episodes, in any plots actually except the main antagonist who was like a chameleon in a bad way. Supporting couples/cast are good too. Definitely deserve higher rating and if you feel same, please rate.
Plot is beginning to get a stir. I like that SuMo is getting confidence and her abilities are used and recognized. However, it’s not all for the schemers likings as I imagine there’s breweries of storms coming. Makes for interesting guessing. I’m so done though with extended push and pulls, repeated all around misunderstandings (there really hasn’t been much here which is a reason to like this) so as long as my hero Wang Juan keeps his head leveled and sees through anything iffy, this is really picking up for interesting stuff. Enjoying a lot.
Midway through the series (Review)*This drama is for fellows who seek an urban, visionary, and pragmatically-driven…
Thanks. I am with you on this one. I feel like this is throwing an olive branch to those who would enjoy seeing the same kind of plot lines given the eye candy younger actors/actresses. It’s unbelievable the amasses of rom coms that have CEO’s looking like fresh out college, etc.
The veteran, mature cast here are great. I’m enjoying this a lot and look forward to every episode.
If you’re liking this, please rate it. I feel it a shame when dramas don’t get due recognition because people don’t say anything. This is a very good series.
Except age portrayal that is a little bothersome to me in first stage, it’s good. That supposed 7 year difference is not believable. Young actress is really good. They should have had a different younger actor for male lead-to make it sensible. I’ve been looking forward to this and so far, not disappointed.
First episode is pretty good. I just randomly clicked to test it out, and caught myself hooked. Beginning at least is very interesting but whole synopsis makes me wonder if it stays this way. I’m so wary of good start dramas that meanders towards middle and nosedive completely at end. For sure though, the character Tian Qing is a catcher. Omg she’s great.
