Great, thorough review. I too have not watched My Mister although i am a k drama fanatic but have started watching…
Thank you. Thank you especially for bringing up those excellent points I wanted to but mine was getting too long. The send off! My goodness, that was beautiful. Itās community coming together, not out of blood ties but the act of humanity for others in their time of need. I cried a lot thinking grandma is probably more grateful that her granddaughter didnāt have to face this alone. I did too. Thereās so much take away from the beauty of this moving part of the drama, I canāt praise enough the excellent thought of this inclusion. It was also the uncleās redeeming gift and Iām happy for him. As for her tormentor, me too. While he acted cruelly, there was always something that seemed to bother him. Two young people, once friends, tormented due to adults mishapās is so unfortunate. She recognized his demon and the producers again perfectly portrays that even through struggles, innermost empathy canāt be denied. Her running and their eye contact at end was so thoughtful. Theyāre free! Thanks for the added insights. Like you, Iād like to watch the original at some point. Right now, Iām well fed. š
Though I said I donāt mind the tropes too much, after 5th episode it is getting tiresome. That paused shocked face by fl trying to figure things out so many times is exhausting. Whether itās her first outing with a guy (ironically ended in bedding), she should at least be mature enough to kind of figure what to do next. Give him a try after his confession or if feeling icky, part ways and please stop looking at him in a room where everyone else looking one way (including him) and she the only looking at him then trying to be all shy seeing him look at her. Okay end of rant now I can go on š
Thank you. I am only on ep 11 and agree completely. Both of the leads stories are tragically sad in that the society…
I appreciate kindly your words. You will absolutely love the progression. Isnāt it nice to watch something that awakens your emotions whether it be a reminder, renewal, or seeing something in another light. If something stimulates your emotions so much, itās good. Thanks again.
One of the best dramas I have watched. Loved the acting. Hoping in real life we can be as forgivable as Jiang…
Agreed on Zhang Zi Feng who played Yuāan. It was hard to adjust to her because of her size. Personally felt they should have chosen a taller, āmeatierā girl because sheās so small and looked fragile. However, she must of knocked off her audition and know why she was selected. She was excellent. Mark Chao too. He had a lot of facial expressions mastered he too was excellent.
I don't think this remake can top the original in any way. š
I donāt care about that. I found this profoundly good and a masterpiece to my entertainment and growth. I donāt need to watch the original because this was more than satisfying and excellent to me. We all react differently and itās okay.
Done. I think Iāve over expressed myself of how much I loved this. What an exceptional work of everyone involved. They really ought to be super proud because this will be a film for all time to exemplify great work. Thanks to you all whoāve enjoyed this film as we exchanged thoughts as it ran. For those just starting, give it a chance through at least first two episodes and you wonāt want to miss the rest. Til our next drama of interest, be well.
Thank you for your love and care for your grandma. You have cared in the exact way I would have loved to have done for my grandma if I had the chance. Your smiles, your head kisses, your silent moments that expands greater heights than words can say is relationships worth more than gold. Thank you Yuan. Your grandma has blessed you, now go and live happily.
