Guessing but most likely power grab, rich in law family, secure daughter heiress rights, etc. Predictable common plot…..i think at least.

I am positively liking this. Yeah, I usually eyeroll the abuse of overloaded tropes but not minding this one too much. Since Heirs, first meeting ChoiJHyuk there, impressionable. OhYSeo, Mad For Each Other, was great. This pairing is enough to forego all that. Btw, while waiting for episodes, you might want to check out Loving Strangers, cdrama remake of My Mister. Exceptionally good. Yw

Btw, if you’re truly liking this drama and think it’s great, please do it some diligence and rate its episodes. I do my part but see none supporters (mind blowing bc this is so good) are out loose. I mean seriously, what episode or this whole drama is not to like. Fine it doesn’t have to be 10, but some at 6, 7? Huh? I know that this doesn’t matter much to some and neither I usually. However, this is so deserving. Thanks

I’ve only watched Eternal Love and that was a few years back. I can’t believe I never gave a thought to watch another Mark Chao drama (i really liked him in that drama) but his acting in this current one is so good too. If y’all have any recommendations for others of his please let me know. I’d rather go on your recommendation rather than random ones as I believe we can agree here he’s great. Thanks

This is just my opinion looking in. I think I understand her unhappiness, thus stepping outside the boundary of marital vows. I think that when a person does that, they do so fully understanding what can come about. For her, she was willing to divorce. Though I don’t know the outcome of his will to just pretend it didn’t happen, (not wanting her to know he knew) bc they now face it, I predict he would be miserable as good of a person he is. Now it’s in the open, how can he change how he is? For ten years, this has been him. If she hasn’t adjusted to that, how can he suddenly change. I don’t know. He definitely needs to make adjustments for her if they’re forging ahead. Those could have happened if they had been in a good relationship. As a married person, I don’t know if i could recover from this.

Enjoying every episode of this story. Kind of sad it’s at its nearing point. Ready to finish and wish they’d go two episodes a day.

That moment when she cried soulfully upon hearing someone validating her burdensome act is all of us when we finally can unload our troublesome heart. Powerful moment.

I’m hoping that’s what it is on her end. She’s experienced enough pain in her life.

This is so sad. She’s young, inexperienced, can’t differentiate love and care from a man. That listening in to ml convos is making her feel things that is giving her wrong messages, that she has no verification of. She’s also giving me second hand embarrassment running like a mad lady after him. Did she forget he’s married with a son. As for him, unknowingly aware of what’s is happening will probably feel very different when this manifests. At this point he’s finding companionship with Yuan. For her, she’s slowly falling in love. Gosh, what another layer of possible pain.

17. I’m having lots of mixed feelings on this turn of events. What Gao Chen is asking Yuan to do?? Yikes! At the same time, something IS brewing in the leads. I’ve heard there’s no romance in leads but the looks, the reactions, actions of unspeakable words is screaming that the dynamics is that. Am i reading as you? I don’t know how to feel about this? Hmmm

Ok I just started and I see an active war of con and pro. I’m actually enjoying it as it’s old kdrama vibe that’s ridiculous at times yet engaging enough to want more. I’m just heavily keeping in mind that these are totally written for entertainment so that I can choose what I want to normalize or not, to watch or not, as there’s so many choices. Gonna see this through.

Chen Ren is a complicated man. He’s cruel and hates her yet he’s conflicted after seeing her with a man. Can he just go away. I’d be very happy if his part was done with.

I don’t know. Obviously Gao Chen is a red flag as far his obsession at work but as far as his affair, Jiaqi wife is more so guilty to step out into that realm. She irritates me.

Yes they’re terrific in their role which draws me to the drama.
