@10437361 Still I find it hard to understand. He really got into this profession also because of Hee Do in the first place. He was annoying about his feelings even before they started dating. He wanted to be with her but rejected her, just to get jealous and confront her ex and things like that. Yu Rim and Ji Woong do deal with a long distance relationship as well but clearly they were more solid as a couple.

While I can see that he was slowly becoming like Hee Do's mom, I would like to point out that her mom was in a happy marriage until her husband died. She was making time for her family as well. So to me it's even harder to undersrand him and his bad decisions. I don't say bad because of the outcome, but because he seemed to be so naive about it while he was supposed to be the experienced one.

And the whole part where he tries to justify the fact he failed to communicate... While also trying to get back together after HE decided to end it by choosing to stay in the US. I can definitely agree that it was meant to happen, but the way it happened is a bit much imho.

Bona won Best New Actress Award at the Korea Drama Awards 2022. Congrats! Well deserve! ✨🎉https://twitter.com/taeri_yeosin/status/1578703785777504257?s=46&t=7HWWaZ0ujPi1RmfSzT7Qyg
Both Kim Tae Ri and Bona were amazing in this, their friendship interested me even more than the main romance.

To me the problem was more Yi Jin to be completely fair, I still don't understand why he applied for the job in New York while he could have gotten back to Hee Do (as well as his own family). It made sense to go there in first place and to be depressed the way he was, but not to stay there and apply for a new position, especially if he tried to convince her to stay together in the end.

Besides that small issue, it was a great drama and I loved it. I just believe the most important aspects in this are on friendship and sport.

I think it isn’t that realistic. Like EVERY medical operation went smooth in this drama. Someone has cancer…
A kid dies in the first episode, not sure if we watched the same show.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo is not a Netflix Original though. It's a bit confusing but it wouldn't get a season 2 on Netflix decision, but on the channel's decision (ENA/SkyTV).

Since Netflix produced Remarriage and Desires, they get to decide if they want to pay for a new season. This show made it to the global top 10 TV Shows on Netflix, which is a reason to hope for a new season and why it is considered a success.

This is a masterpiece. Don’t understand why so many negative comments on this. One of the best revenge dramas.…
There is no confirmation for a season 2, the only information out there is that they did not plan one (Netflix) and K-Drama do not usually have a season 2. It does have an open ending, but this doesn't mean that it will happen as it is not the norm.

That being said, there is a chance for a new season considering its international success. Netflix being interested in profit, this could still happen. I wouldn't necesseraly bet on that though, they usually announce new seasons much faster (Kingdom, All Of Us Are Dead, Squid Game, etc.).

Either way, the only way I would see this work is with a new cast and the same agency. I wouldn't want a following on the current ones as they had a proper ending.

After 30+ minutes I was considering dropping it because of how cringe it was. It gave me Vincenzo vibes and personally it's not my thing. Still I gave it another shot and I appreciate the characters/story even though there isn't anything that hasn't been done somewhere else.

There is a tiny bit of romance but this is not the purpose of this drama. I wouldn't recommend it if you are interested in just that. This is mostly about revenge and rich people trying to backstab each others.

Title Remarriage and Desires Spoiler
I just finished this show. Like I said before when I was watching till episode 4. But watching the last episodes,…
I felt like they worked enough on the chemestry (the boat scene, the accident, etc.) and the ending made sense. It was really fast though, like you said, too fast to be realistic. It was a little weird to see all the characters in that room while she almost got married to someone else. I feel like they could have made this happy ending better.

Not sure what's left to talk about, having 8 more episodes while this is a happy ending might create more issues. Unless they just focus on new characters joining the agency.

I agree that more episodes would have been better though, to explore some of the subplots.

She actually mentioned that she would never forgive her husband. And while she hates him for the choices he made, she also knows that he was tricked.

It is more natural to focus your anger on people that are still alive. She saw her looking for a new prey which triggered her desire for revenge. She doesn't blame just one person, bt there is only one person she can take revenge on.

As someone who doesnt want to miss a really good drama, but neither do i want to spend time watching a drama that…
Interesting thought, as I was actually wondering about that while reading this comment section. Some people do seem to stop watching whenever they are not "entertained" or if there is something that bothers them. Some drama do need more time to set the story and are worth watching, judging them on 2-3 episodes doesn't seem fair either.

But I understand that we are also talking about 3h+ of their time and it's time that they won't be able to get back. There are a lot of drama to choose from, though it will really depend on what kind of drama you prefer watching. Not everyone likes historical drama or comedies for example. The thing is, the more you watch a genre, the more you will notice similarities and you might feel like you're watching the same thing over and over. Either way, nice thread, I might join the conversation there ;)

Glad to see so many people feeling the same way.

It's not even about defending the drama but trying to give a different perspective based on a different interpretation of what we saw.

Haha, I was just waiting for your comment !!
Pretty sure it was mentioned in another comment but it seems to be the case with most illnesses/conditions in KDramas. I suppose it's also why people like to watch them, even though I would prefer more realistic dramas.
As an audience I don't believe we get the right to choose what the authors/screenwriters should write about, they choose want they want to do even if we can regret that there aren't more depictions.

I agree that it wouldn't make sense about Sang Tae.

I was about to mention that, but you did it brilliantly. While I can agree on the romanticization of characters with ASPD (to an extent), I feel like the author missed the point about Sang Tae. Definitely one if not the best attempt at portraying someone with this condition.
