Hahahah I literally just remembered GDC is airing right now. Well I refuse to watch any drama from tencent apart…
The novel is definitely funny with a little seriousness sprinkled in here and there, it is definitely lacking in plot development and character growth (unlike MXTX later works) but that doesn't take away one iota of enjoyment when reading the story, I laughed out loud so many times while reading the novel, mostly due to Shen Qingqiu's inner monologues and Lou Binghe's weirdness. And also the smut, OMG the smut, MXTX does not disappoint š. am happy you've already ordered the book, you will definitely have a blast reading it!
