I couldn't get past the first 15 minutes of the first episode and have just been sitting on this all this time ( the sound effects where killing me), I got so bored today that I decided to give it a chance and am surprised.. I like it...it's actually decent.

Am so horrified, I just read about the death of Cao weining and I am not okay, why would priest hurt me like that.. like I knew he would die but did it have to be so painful?

China too... I mean word of honor , untamed, immortality and countless other BLs coming out this year and next year. I mean these BLs might not have any kissing scenes but I dare you to watch word of honor and tell me it's not a BL.

What scandal?

Yeah, she kinda did, if this was real life, chenglings reaction is normal and people are complex, nobody does the right thing all the time and I think that's the same for ZZS and WKX, These are flawed characters that have done really nasty staff, I didn't like ZZS at all in the first episode and WKX has done his fare share of evil, them being adults and killing innocents for so long... Why should we expect more from Chengling? Whose entire family was tortured and killed? The emotional trauma alone is enough to make a person do something crazy.... and his father taught him want betrayal was, he knows not to trust anyone and believes ZZS is blinded by love.... I don't know, ....but it's a drama and not real so we as the audience expect a more unrealistic reaction from a 14 year old boy (me included at times).. I saw the spoilers and no lie I wanted to slap the heck out of ZCL LOL... But at times, real odd times I kinda understand the little sh"t... :)))

Seriously with all the negative comments I went in with the lowest of low expectations for this ep and by the end of it I was still trying to pinpoint what was so bad or meh about it and I found NOTHING! I Loved this episode, infact I think it even got BETTARRR.. Lol. I understand the villagers reaction like duh Tian just told them his responsible for killing a person very dear to them, his lucky they didn't beat him up or throw dirt on him or something people in real life would do...the fact that trust was broken is not something The villagers could overcome the exact moment after Tians confession.. they need Time, heck even Longtae needed time to swallow everything and that guy LOVES Tian (they are platonic soulmates after all) so I don't think the villagers over reacted, .........this episode was so touching (though I didn't cry HA! jokes on you GMMTV).....The scene after Tian had confessed every thing and he went straight to Phupha begging him to understand, to give him a chance to explain like "the others can hate me, it's fine, but not you chief, your hate would break me" and chief just looked away like the asshat he is.... That was so sad....all in all I think I love the drama... I think its keeping the show fresh and xciting,

Oh definitely and I heard so many actors already auditioned for the roles.. everyone knows how big this will be.. gawwd, to think it will probably air in 2022 or even 2023 kills me everytime

Does what the five lake alliance did to WKX matter? the boys family was slaughtered and he is under the impression that WKX did it or at least ordered the murders, he doesn't care about WKX revenge, did his revenge have to come at the cost of ZCL entire family/sect?.. I don't care how good someone is to me if I found out that they tortured and killed my entire family I would want blood and yes that would blind me cause am human and so is ZCL , am not advocating for what he will do but I understand him and I hope ZZS will understand too. :(

I seriously can not wait for heavens official blessings like that was the first ever Chinese novel I read and funny enough I had just finished watching Advanced bravery and GJ was stuck in my head and I ended up picturing him as Xie Lian throughout the whole thing!! No lie now I know what he would have looked like if he was indeed Xie Lian..... But honestly with how big HOB will be am scared they won't be as free to express the MLs relationship as anything other than a bromance :(

True, Thailand and Taiwan do love to slap you with a hand full of gay LOL, but even though we might never see these amazing actors in another BL, am just happy to have seen them in this one and it didn't end up in a horror story like that of addicted actors. ........on a slightly different note am starting to love the charm of Chinese BL adaptations, the way they leave it up to the audience to interpret the leads relationship and the easter eggs they leave along the way is just so charming in its own chinese way Lol, I've never been obsessed with a Thai/Taiwanese BL the way I am with WOH, UT or SVSS.. the fandoms are so engaging..funny how I used to Loath Chinese censorship but now am kinda weirdly okay with it.. as long as the source material says the Leads are in a romantic relationship and they make out am satisfied :) LOL.

And for good reason, their fans? go crazy when there is any type of interaction between the two.. the chemistry between the two both on and off screen was just to huge for them to quit their friendship.. their friends just not in public and I am very okay with that...

Me too, but I do understand Chenglings actions, I understand his hate towards WKX (Given the little that he knows) and because of this, I feel so bad for him, he will feel so guilty when the truth is unveiled and really it's not his fault for reacting the way that he inevitably will... And I hope ZZS will forgive him and understand his reasons for acting the way that he will. :( I want my small family glued back together in the end, stronger than before......

I am not looking forward to ZZS living a life thinking he will never see WKX again... Just thinking about it is depressing enough, am dreading actually witnessing it....

Also a 1000 autumns is so good (both book and donghua) the book is not yet completely translated sadly, only translated to chapter 69. I am low key obsessed with the donghua, the pacing of the show is okay, they stayed pretty true to the novel and that's always a +, you will definitely enjoy it.

No factual data to back up my claim, but I have a feeling that if these two star together in a show, it won't be a BL LOL... just like WY and XZ or those two actors from guardian...
