I've lost patience with this series. It's just going in circles.First, the voiceovers need to stop. If you don't…
Pi always seemed insecure to me, even among other nerds. He had no friends and no life outside of studying and he was painfully aware of that. Now the hottest, brightest, most popular dude in the uni wants him; it's seems natural to me that such a development would not reassure him, it would rocket those insecurities into overdrive.
I wish we got to see Meen singing the theme song during the intro/credits section. Watched the music vid on YT yesterday. He not only has a great voice but he's smooth and hip in his demeanor. very cool.
I'm beginning to think Pi will never be able to be Mork's partner/boyfriend because his low self-esteem and insecurities will keep him in a state of anxiety and sadness. He really needs a couple of years in therapy before he can tackle a relationship. Mork would have to spend all his time reassuring Pi, which would be exhausting and Mork would grow weary of it.
I know why a lot of commenters don't like Bam, but I think she's great. She's not doing anything underhanded. And she's funny.
Glad to see significantly more time given to Meen and Duean. Cute relationship building there. Cant't wait to see where it goes.
I don’t know but as I watched this I felt somewhere along the line someone forgot that these are young college…
It is bizarre that you really believe all young people are incapable of authentic forgiveness and that those who ARE capable of it are necessarily doormats. That's a very cynical and arrogant perspective. Only YOU, the wise and weathered one, who has seen and knows all, is able to truly forgive without being walked over. Spare me. It's ridiculous.
You'll have to be more specific about what it is about my comments that rub you the wrong way. I love that people such as yourself take it personally when I aggressively disagree with their opinion. I re-read my comment to you. There's no insult there, just my reaction to your comment, which you CHOSE to interpret as a personal attack. That''s your business.
Do you really think all opinions are worthy of your respect? Neo-Nazis think Black and Brown people should be run out of the U.S. altogether.. That's their opinion. Do you respect it? I don't.
Serious question: How old are you? Why do you think writers and directors owe you a story that you like? Stop…
Wow. You are losing it. Why do you care so much what I think of your opinions? I can't stop you from posting them and I wouldn't if I could. BTW...you never said before that you don't respect me, but I'm glad to know it''s the case. You can tell a lot about a person by who it is that dislikes them. You dislike me. I like that you dislike me, it speaks well of my character. Now I'll go "throw my deep thoughts" somewhere else. Any suggestions on where that should be?
By the way, your all-caps are scaring me. Please stop.
Serious question: How old are you? Why do you think writers and directors owe you a story that you like? Stop…
Work on your grammar. Could you quote me where I said being a visual artist makes me better than you or makes my opinion more valid than yours? Seriously, point out where I said that. You are very immature and insecure to be reading all these hidden meanings into words other people write. I used my profession as an EXAMPLE that relates to the art the makers of the series created. Cheating as a plot point in a fictional story will continue to be a favorite, as will murder, revenge, kidnapping, rape, extortion, blackmail and all other sorts of "chiches" that have been around forever. Please name me a "realistic topic" that has NEVER been used before in the telling of a fictional story, I'll be happy to wait.
As I said above, I DO NOT respect your thoughts on this series, not at all, and I have the right to say THAT. I DO respect your privilege, as a commenter here, to share your opinion, but that is a different thing than the CONTENT of your opinion, which is what I'm reacting to.
if you don’t like it then don’t continue to watch it like it’s plain and simple
Now you are ranting. Where did I say you need my permission to post your comments? Could you quote me please? I'm being disrespectful to you because I DO NOT RESPECT your bitter, nasty statements. It's pretty simple. I don't need or want your respect, on the other hands.
LOTS of people who experience infidelity in a relationship get back together and live happily ever after. "once…
"people like Teh..." See what I mean? You have judged Teh as an irredeemable bad guy who put him in some category in your head along with other "bad guys" who can never, ever be good again. In what way would a fling with Jai make Teh's metality "peaceful?" ANYONE is capable of change, even murderers. They still have to go to jail, but Teh isn't a murderer, he's a flawed human being, just like you and me.
I don’t know but as I watched this I felt somewhere along the line someone forgot that these are young college…
I find it sad that you apparently think 20 year-olds are incapable of forgiveness, even of such a significant betrayal. I whole-heartedly disagree. I know of plenty of older people who are bitter, angry and vengeful and would never forgive anyone for anything. You seem to be applying your own life experience and development to every individual on the planet, and that's just...silly.
Oh is perfectly capable of full and complete forgiveness, if only Teh would clean up his act and earn it, and sincerely ask for it.
BUT I think something went down in the last ten minutes that is MAJOR. We did NOT see Teh actually delete those…
Totally disagree about the realism of having a talent scout hand you a card out of the clear blue sky after a student-directed play no one would have heard of. If he doesn't take the job because HE made that choice why would he blame Oh for it other than that Teh is not especially well mentally balanced.
LOTS of people who experience infidelity in a relationship get back together and live happily ever after. "once…
I was just thinking...Teh's feeling for Jai is an OBSESSION, as in mentally/emotionally unbalanced in the extreme. Jai, douche that he is, has made it clear he has zero interest in a relationship with Teh...at least TWICE he has made that crystal clear. and yet he stands on stage with Oh and just blatantly stares at Jai, who has firmly rejected him. It's as though he literally CANNOT take his eyes off him. If memory serves, didn't the camera work during that stare get kind of weird? Maybe Teh is a little bit psycho.
I would do some research on infidelity. People are actually more loyal than you think. The number is way higher…
I read your first linked article. It contains lots of numbers and assertions but does not say what studies they are talking about or where those numbers came from. I'm not interested in arguing about the statistics. I believe there are a lot of cheaters who aren't going to be truthful on a questionnaire.
BUT I think something went down in the last ten minutes that is MAJOR. We did NOT see Teh actually delete those…
UNLESS...Teh kept the pics on his social media and turned down the job on the series. Truly, if he had any self-awareness at all he'd know he's not mature enough to take on a televised series. The business would eat him alive. You're absolutely right about knowing the timeline of the motorcycle arrival. I'd like to see him finish his college degree before moving on to bigger things. I'm still annoyed at the writers for the really stupid and extremely dubious device of having a talent scout see Teh in a student-directed play, walk up and say "we have a part in a tv series ready and waiting for you. Let's talk." PLEASE Now THAT is lazy, unrealistic writing worthy of a lower-tier BL.
What is this great message that ITSAY conveyed to us? I think IPYTM is beautifully written and very realistic.…
I have never been cheated on while in a relationship (that I know of) but I have wondered what my reaction to that would be. It used to seem to me that the physical sharing of my lover's body with someone else would be the hardest thing to forgive/forget. But I guess over time I've changed and now it seems the emotional cheating would be the most painful. Which is why for me, that scene where Teh was singing with Oh but staring at Jai and mooning over him was so powerful, and to Oh as well. He saw up close and all over Teh's face that he was EMOTIONALLY wrapped up in Jai instead of him.
I agree it's important that Teh did not physically cheat, though it's pretty obvious he would have if Jai had been willing. It would be easier to forgive since it didn't go all the way, so to speak. But man, Teh was totally wrapped up in Jai. I was embarrassed for him during that scene wherre they sat at a table during the closing night party and chatted. Jai had made it beyond clear that he flirted and kissed purely for what it would help him get out of Teh for the performance, not because he was falling for Teh. And yet Teh kept pushing until Jai had to make it crystal clear and yet even that was not enough to break the spell Teh was under. You know, it just occurred to me that perhaps unconsciously Teh sat there and pushed at Jai to confess to him so that he WOULD get the reaction he got, which would help him let go of it. But nah, that's not it. cause he went right back upstairs and pined away for Jai across the room. I really felt bad for Oh since Teh's leering was so obvious and other people probably noticed.
They can get them back together, or right to the edge of getting back together, and leave us hanging on a cliff…
So where are the links to all this information. I googled in several different ways and nothing comes up. Just like the commenter above, you're making assertions that may in fact be true, but no links by which to confirm what you're saying.
Just because there was not originally a plan for a season 3 doesn't mean a new plan can't be made. Production companies, like everyone else, are interested in making as much money as possible. ITSAY and IPYTM have broken the BL mold and it's everywhere. There will be a season 3 if $$$ can be made and actors can be rounded up.

I'd reply if your comment made sense. "opposite your own perception...." Please explain what you mean. Yes, I am paid $100 per comment. The commenter above sounds to me bitter, angry and judgemental, so that's what I wrote I don't care if that's a problem for you.
I don’t know but as I watched this I felt somewhere along the line someone forgot that these are young college…
I love your comment.. I have argued with commenters here who seem to have never heard of those two words: FORGIVENESS and REDEMPTION. Everything is black and white to them and there are only villains and saints. It's annoying but then I remind myself this is likely a tiny subset of the IPYTM fandom. Bitchy people always get more attention than is warranted by what they say. This show is superb. I do disagree about character dimensionality: I feel like we've seen a lot of that from Teh and Oh both. I love that terribly flawed, human behavior is being focused on, without it being presented as if there is no path to healing and love. Because, it's my belief that despite all we've seen, Teh is learning that he really does love Oh in a once-in-a-lifetime way.
I'm finding it hard to get through this ep a it's so stressful to watch. I'm 10 minutes in and taking a break…
BUT I think something went down in the last ten minutes that is MAJOR. We did NOT see Teh actually delete those pics and we saw him pull up to Oh's apartment on his motorcycle and he seemed to prepare to call Oh.
I actually enjoy, in a twisted masochistic way, dramas like this that have me in knots. I'm hoping there's joy on the way that will be all the more intense for what we've suffered so far.
OK, I just googled to see if there's the possibility of a third season for these guys. I cannot find ANYTHING online that specifically addresses that question, but surely it's out there. HELP! Commenters are telling me it's been confirmed there won't be a third season, so why can't I find anything about this online?
Well written, except that even my cynical heart wants these two back together and I don't agree that it's unrealistic…
Well, the hour could be spent showing HOW they came to be together again and end at the point where it's clear that is what is going to happen. In other words, everything would build to the reconciliation and that's the end. But my tender heart never stops hoping and can be very idealistic even at my advanced age... :D

Funny sound effects and slap-stick. Nicely done.

And Oh's poster was ugly as hell.
