I'm really leaning into the theory that he is somehow helping LG. Idk if LG's future self got a team in place…
Oh right... I forgot he said that. I was too pissed to care cause TE wasn't dead somehow, and Jo Yeong was only left in ROK to protect her but didn't even notice she was missing...
LR kinda stinks as a bad guy, I still don't understand why his henchmen are so blindly loyal to him.

I keep forgetting yoyo boy exists cause he's literally just there to cause 'intrigue' and be a plot device at this point. KES said she'll always have a cinderella in her stories which makes him the fairy godmother (see also: deus ex machina)

Yeah, but they also devoted more time into prince buyeong as a character, and we all know how that ended.
this theory might make sense as to why he doesn't tell Tae Eul, since she's utterly useless... He's a cop in KOC as well so he can't be anyboday from the future, or from KOC....
Hey guys.... What do you think Chief has been doing behind everyone's backs? Do you think he's been cleaning up after LR? Or maybe doing his own research on KOC... anyway open to hearing all theories!
Does it deserve the rating: hard to tell, the rating here generally indicates popularity rather than quality.…
I miss phrased. What I mean by indicates popularity was actually 'popular opinion' because it's an avg rating system. Also because everyone's rating style is different, sometimes based on enjoyment, sometimes harsher and more critical, it's usually impossible to tell quality without first knowing the standards that person is working off of.
There are long theories comments that, i think, should have been marked as spoiler and for someone who havent…
Does it deserve the rating: hard to tell, the rating here generally indicates popularity rather than quality. This is a pretty polarizing show right now but there are still plenty of die hard fans. I can only give my take on it but I won't be able to tell whether you'll like it or not. I think most people can find some form of enjoyment whether absolutely adoring the show, just liking scenes, or finding ironic enjoyment. For me I think the community has a lot of deep thinkers who are incredibly fun to discuss possible endings and alterations to what the show actually did... Anyway, here is my general answer for people with this question.
Honestly if you liked KES previous works it's definitely worth a try.
In my opinion pros are - Music - Special effects - aesthetics (architecture, outfits, scene composition etc) - the secondary cast (WDH, KKN, KHS <3) - a good character arc every now and then - very easy to laugh at
You might not want to watch if you are opposed to: - Neglected side characters - Wasted characters - Inconsistent characters - Useless plots just to fill time, easily dealt with and have no consequences - Obsessive, Possessive 'romance' - Underwhelming villain with a convoluted plan - Excessive unsubtle product placement (I personally thought it was hilarious) - MC's who are portrayed as perfect despite doing a lot of crappy stuff, See also: mary su/gary stu - Cliches and tropes that lead to predictability. - very easy to laugh at
PS: there are also a bunch of tiny errors, but as long as that stuff doesn't bug you I don't see it being a big deal.
Luna poisoned LG, LG finally found out he saves himself, and LR found out LG saves himself for.... reasons?Anything…
Yeah, I get the full flute can time travel properly theory. my comment had nothing to do with how it happens, and everything to do with the writing of time travel. I really hate causality loops, so despite all the disappointment the show has caused so far I'm still hoping that she doesn't write it that way.
LR hasn't made a good move all show... LG has been on to his doppelganger plot for a while and he ended up exposing his best piece (PM), for no reason at all. Either he knew about the scars so avoided killing TE so as not to expose Luna but still exposing PM, or he let TE live for... REASONS. Best case scenario is he exposed PM on purpose to weaken the government a little bit. Which still isn't a logical plan.
He was a good villain in the beginning, but the rest of the show has revealed his incredible incompetence. His plan was fine in theory but he screwed up the execution. The last 3 eps have a lot of worked to do to reverse this.
"Episode 13 represented one of my biggest pet peeve in shows, when everyone is exactly in the right place right time, every single scene. lol." Agreed, if they had set up LR looking for the savior as well and focused on both LR and LG finding clues throughout the show, the ending of 13 would have been much easier to swallow and if done right could have actually been satisfying. Also not showing his face ep one would have been nice too.
I watched it for the first time in 2017. I gave it a low rating (6.0) because I stopped enjoying it. After 3 years,…
I watched with baited breath as it came out, just hoping the story would get better and live up to the quality of the other aspects of the show. Restarted it and the music is so nostalgic and the beginning is as good as I remember... but I know how the story goes, and there's no way it's gonna change. :'(

TBH I'm still confused on how KES thinks she's handling time travel. She's clearly heading for a causality loop, and if she wants to avoid it she'd have to throw in a whole bunch of new rules.
The time stops are also starting to confuse me as to their purpose. Lee Gon said that they've become more than an hour long. With how many people have gone back and forth he's gained at least 10-20 hours of time over other people. Time that he could have spent furthering his cause and looking into things. However all we get from the drama is 'he did math' Leaving not only us, but Lee Gon without answers as well.
No matter how much I think about this I haven't come to a solid conclusion about how they will likely explain this.
This drama is sooo sooo goodDo anyone knows any similar drama? I mean with a lot of knots, like makjang idk
I think you might enjoy:
W - involves going in and out of a comicbook, stars Lee Jong Suk so prep for intense emotion.
My love from another star - obviously has an alien, but also includes chaebol family drama, a serial killer of sorts, and a ticking time bomb.
You're all surrounded - I don't even know where to begin, this one has a revenge plot, mistaken identity of sorts, comedy etc.
365: repeat the year - Every time I think about this one I just get so excited. It is slow for some people but it's got a well done unreliable narrator, time travel, and a serial killer.
Memories of alhambra - I thought this was gonna suck, but it is freaking amazing. Do not trust the MDL description, although it does have a romance plot it's actually a thriller sci-fi fantasy, with cool action sequences.
a show about parallel worlds, time-freeze and time-travel sure sounds sci-fi to me
They get the math and science wrong, the show is headed towards a causality loop, and KES clearly wanted this to be fantasy which would have been much better cause she's way out of her depths with sci-fi.
But on a different, more positive note, OMFG I love Shin-Jae's arc!
Maybe Team leader is a better word for him... TE's boss.
LR kinda stinks as a bad guy, I still don't understand why his henchmen are so blindly loyal to him.

not sure if you'd be into japanese dramas, but border was pretty good. Started a little dorky but the tension builds. (at least for me it did)
