Oh, yes, I just adore all those romantic little moments between the FL and the SML. Their cozy drinking sessions, their romantic date in the marketplace, the sweet little gifts they exchange, and don’t forget that caring gift to keep him safe from fire, how utterly adorable. So romantic, really.

“Stone ages?” That’s a stretch. Nobody’s saying men and women can’t have normal interactions. The point is, dramas frame scenes deliberately to guide the audience, and those choices aren’t accidental.

And about your reference to episode 14, yes, she was hurt by her family, but that’s not even the scene I was talking about. In the scene I meant, she was clearly happy to see the SML. She willingly sat with him, drank with him, let herself get drunk in his presence, and was open to spending more time with him. None of that ties into family pain or simply “wanting information.” That’s a different kind of openness altogether.

So while you may brush it off as “normal interaction,” the way it’s written, acted, and shot is designed to show contrast, she doesn’t allow herself to be that vulnerable with just anyone. Which means the drama wants us to pick up on something more layered in her connection with him.

"Just because a woman is smiling to a man that doesn't mean they're interested in them romantically."

Normally, that would be true. But when the camera deliberately pans and lingers on her face, highlighting her expressions and emotions in that moment, it’s a clear signal to the audience that she’s being emotionally affected by the SML, something we don’t see when she interacts with other male characters. The scene is intentionally designed to show us her desires. No one’s denying that men and women can be friends, but when she invests quality time with the SML while simultaneously showing interest in the ML, that’s not friendship, that’s a lack of boundaries.

Ah, see, you took a scene and twisted it to fit your interpretation without even considering the context. In that scene, the SML approached her. He went there specifically for her. Her asking about her brother was simply because he was present. It was convenient for her to bring it up. Your logic would only hold if she had approached him herself for information, implying she had ulterior motives to eat and drink with him. It’s funny how you completely rewrote the scene just to make her look innocent. That just makes me wonder what else in this drama you’ve misinterpreted to cast her in such a favourable light.

You're thinking of later episodes when she was investigating.

What?? Are you serious? Don’t you remember the scene when the SML visited the FL at the ML’s army camp? She was clearly happy to see him. She even drank with him, and if the ML hadn’t intervened, she would’ve ended up spending the night with him. On top of that, she was ready to go with him to the mountains, and the only reason it didn’t happen was because he cancelled at the last minute. She was still waiting for him, though. It seems you conveniently forget these moments because they show exactly how little boundaries she has.

I think you forgot most of this drama.

how long does the sml arc goes on?
That other response isn’t accurate. She actually spends a lot of time with the SML, sharing drinks with him, buying him gifts, and genuinely enjoying his company. She often smiles at him when they meet, showing clear signs of warmth and interest.

Viki has 5 more days until the next episode drops, which is episode 20. WTF. The drama already finished airing last week. Why the hell is Viki dragging it out like this? 5 days just to release 1 more episode? That’s ridiculous. When are they actually going to put all the episodes up? This is beyond frustrating. And I'm paying them. Smh.

Lol 😂😂😂 you dropped at ep 7 and you are revieweing it as if you watched the whole thing. The SML barely…
Everything i read from your comment screams many multiple unnecessary interactions with him. She has a choice. She's not forced to spend time with him or even interact with him. I bet there are many other scenes of them together you haven't mentioned.

"In fact, giving a return gift was setting a boundary too."
That's not setting boundaries. In fact, That’s the complete opposite. That's inviting more emotions, interactions and reasons for him to pursue her.

"She literally does not even look at the SML when the ML is there." So she looks at him when the ML isn't around. That's even worse. You've just proven my point. This FL has no clear boundaries while taking advantage of the ML. This guy has done everything for her, even when they were together at a younger age. The only good thing about this drama is the first 5 episodes.

I skipped through to know what i was getting into. I saw enough. SML with many interactions with her. And she sets no boundaries, entertains him, and gives him gifts. If i wanted to watch her type of character, i would've watched the tv series Desperate Housewives. Poor ML, he needs to put up with that nonsense. Meanwhile, when a female character approaches him like in episode 16 in the clothing store, he immediately shuts her down and backs the FL. Didn't see that from the FL. You can sugar coat it all you want, but i still think it's awful.

The drama started off really strong. The beginning hooked me right away. But then it lost momentum with the whole “pretending to be a man” storyline. The ML eventually found out, but it dragged on unnecessarily with the FL not realizing that he already knew. On top of that, the SML figured it out instantly with just one look, while it took the ML much longer, which is ridiculous. Then there’s the SML’s involvement, which just became over the top.

These dramas have this ridiculous obsession with dragging the SML through the entire story. What’s the point? If the SML is going to be shoved into every corner of the plot, then why not give the SFL the same treatment? Instead, the SFL usually gets tossed in for a token scene out of fifty episodes and then vanishes, while the SML hangs around like a second lead in name only, basically acting as a co-lead. It ends up dragging the whole drama down. I expected a lot more from this drama, but it ended up taking a disappointing turn. Dropped on episode 7. Awful drama.

Yes and notThe confession and the kiss...yes ..slow ...ep29 if i remember correctly xDBut they develop feelings…
Those scenes are really important because they show the FL getting jealous, which proves she actually cares for the ML. I like it when dramas include moments like that. Even if they’re small, they still make a big difference. I’d like to see more SFL's involved, kind of like how SML's are. Not to the point where she’s overly annoying, but just enough to make the FL jealous and push her to realise her feelings for the ML.

Does the FL get jealous when she sees the female character around the ML?
