Are the ones you mentioned good and how is the romance in them ? Slow burn?
I Hear Your Voice was my favorite because it had the most romance while also blending in fantasy and supernatural elements, exactly the mix of genres I enjoy. Lawless Lawyer stood out to me for its strong revenge theme. It has less romance than I Hear Your Voice, but it’s still there, and the combination of law, revenge, and romance makes for a fantastic story. Remember follows a similar path to Lawless Lawyer, with revenge and some romance at its core, but the story takes a unique turn thanks to the ML’s extraordinary ability to remember everything he sees, which adds a fascinating dynamic to his role as a lawyer.
This drama was absolutely fantastic. Everything about it was perfect. There wasn’t a single dull moment. The beginning drew me in right away. I loved how the ML and FL met quickly and that it wasn’t a slow burn, so the romance picked up straight away.
I really appreciated that the ML was portrayed as powerful and feared by everyone, instead of the typical weak ML, that was a huge plus. I also loved the setup at the start, with the ML locked away in his tower until the FL came to serve him.
Another detail I really enjoyed was how the show constantly reminded us that the FL is from the modern world. She kept using modern terminology, which confused the historical characters, and sometimes they even picked up on those words themselves, those moments were genuinely funny. Far too often in other dramas, when the FL is transported from modern times into the past, she just blends in and speaks like everyone else, and you almost forget where she came from. But here, they kept that aspect alive throughout the story, which made it feel more authentic and engaging.
The chemistry between the ML and FL was excellent, and I loved how much time they spent together. Even the amnesia storyline was handled well and didn’t feel overdone.
Overall, this was an amazing drama. One of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Perfect pacing, perfect romance, great chemistry, and an entertaining balance of humor and intensity. Without a doubt, a perfect score from me.
I’m planning to watch this since I really enjoy law dramas, but for me, they need to have some romance element as well. Some of the best ones I’ve seen are, I Hear Your Voice, Remember, and Lawless Lawyer. All 3 were fantastic. That’s why I’m interested in this one, but I’m a little concerned it might lack the romance. Has anyone who’s seen those 3 dramas watched this too, and can confirm if it has a similar vibe?
I haven't seen you enjoy any Xu Kai drama so I'm not surprised. I wonder what dramas you do enjoy.
Easy, just take a look at my completed watchlist, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll spot all the dramas of his that I’ve rated highly. Perhaps that would've been the smartest place to start.
Wow, a full-on supporter of insults. Laughing emojis, agreeing 100%, all cheering on someone bullying others. Incredible how proud you are of being part of the problem.
And nobody forced you to reply in an English that's barely understandable. I’m entitled to share my opinion on the drama, just like you’re entitled to enjoy it. Insulting me doesn’t change that. Throwing insults doesn’t make your taste any better. It just makes your comment look ridiculous and says more about you than it does about me. Bullying doesn't make you right, it makes you pathetic. Grow up and be better than that.
I ended up dropping this. It actually started off well. The first 6 episodes or so had me interested. But after that, I completely lost interest. It got boring, dragged on, and when I skipped ahead to see how things turned out, I realized I was right to drop it. The pacing was a mess. Everything important was delayed far too long, only to be crammed into the last few episodes. Ridiculous. And what happened to the whole promise of them working together to fight evil? They should’ve discovered each other’s identities early on and teamed up. That’s what I was waiting for. Instead, we got this nonsense. I really thought this drama was going to be something special, but it just turned out to be a huge disappointment. Even the story itself wasn’t what I expected. I was hoping for a different vibe, a different setting. But it just wasn’t that. Overall, it's not a good drama.
Alright, third time’s the charm, I guess. Immortal Ascension was a disaster, Moonlit Reunion was just as bad, and now I’m hanging all my hopes on this one. Please, for the love of God, don’t screw this up.
I have a few questions and I'll be grateful if anyone could answer them.1. When does Li Shuang finds out that…
I haven't watched it yet, but i can answer from experience watching these types of dramas because i know sometimes questions may not be answered.
1. Around the midpoint.
2. It's probably from the beginning. Because he falls in love during his Jin An/amnesia phase.
3. Once again, from the beginning. Because they secretly become a couple before his identity is revealed.
4. Of course there are. That's the essence of Cdramas. The question you should be asking is, are there any female characters except the FL interested in the ML.
5. Prince Annan, but she'll recognise him as all of them, a complete person.
Is the ML the strongest character in the series? I just finished Immortal Ascension and wasn’t too impressed with the weak ML there, so I’m really hoping this drama takes a different approach.

Assertive and insulting are completely different. Cultural differences don’t excuse personal attacks or harassment.
