i have the ultimate candidate: song joong ki! he'd make a beautiful "girlfriend/wife" for lee jong suk
Ah, so you're never dedicated in life. So you're lazy and unambitious? By the way, why did you feel the need to be "cheeky" and cause conflict? Did i insult you, or is it just your "obsession" on MDL to cause trouble?

There are already a ton of dramas where the ML has an inappropriate relationship with the FL, and viewers swooned…
"You literally said women didn't have to face the horrors of war. If you know women are involved in war, then why would you say that?"

Because the majority of military personnel are men. I meant women don't face horrors of war generally speaking to prove my point. Are you implying suffering and casualties of war are experienced more by women?πŸ˜‚ So you're just going to ignore the majority of casualties and victims of war are men? You want more women military? That's fine. Go round up as many women as possible and persuade them to join the army. Good luck with that. Just see how many are willing to do so. But your toxic misandrist mind would probably reply with "women are scared of being abused by men." So that's your reason why the majority of military are men?πŸ˜‚ So why are women working alongside men in other fields such as schools, office jobs, retail, food service, hospitality, health care, and many other industries? With your logic, women wouldn't work at all because they're afraid of men. Then why do women even bother stepping out the front door of their home? Why have a husband or boyfriend? What a load of bs. If you're going to continue using that excuse as a reason why women aren't more involved in male dominated activities, then just stop using men and male services and start doing things for yourself.

"You must not watch dramas at all. Both the male lead AND second male lead are handsome 99.9% of the time because this is Korean dramas we're talking about. No casting director is going to cast someone "ugly" because that distracts from the fantasy."

Yeah, they're both handsome characters. What's your point? Did I say the ML isn't handsome? Are you delusional or something? Where are you going with this? Second lead syndrome exists because SML's are favoured more than SFL's and far outnumber them as well. Second lead syndrome isn't for SFL's, and that's my point. Let me say it again, these dramas are made for FEMALE audiences. Therefore, FL's have more benefits than ML's. Do i need cold, hard data for this obvious fact? It's common sense.

"Yes. You implied women don't fight in wars and you mentioned men building cities and blah blah blah as if men are the only ones who do that."

I've already explained about the majority of men in wars, and I'm not saying it again. If you don't understand English, that's your problem. Once again, the majority of people involved in infrastructure are men, so what's your point? It's the truth. And I didn't even imply men are the only ones doing thatπŸ˜‚ Get it through your toxic misandrist mind. It's the MAJORITY that are men. Why is it so hard for you to understand this?

"Blah, blah, blah."

So now you're just disregarding mens accomplishments and the hard work and suffering men go through to keep this wonderful infrastructure working? And don't come back with an ignorant reply like "women do that too." Yes, I know women are involved, but once again, i have to repeat myself because you're dumb. The MAJORITY are men.

"You also don't care if grown adult women have access to their own money. You think it's not being oppressed, and that they should be treated like children who have to ask for an allowance LOL. You quickly brushed that information aside as if it isn't horrifying. I'm sure you also don't care that women aren't allowed to drive in certain countries or make any major decisions in their lives."

What are you talking about access to their own money and allowances? In those times men provided everything the family needed to survive, that's what was expected from men. What's his is also hers. If he couldn't provide that he was emasculated, shamed, and labelled a loser. It's not like today's messed up relationships where women demand what men bring to the table while women respond with "i am the table." Women now have their own careers, their own money and still demand men to provide for them, to pay her bills and fund her lavish lifestyle. Women expect a traditional man but can't be a traditional woman for him. Instead, men currently have to deal with modern toxic feminists who aren't striving for equality at all but to put all men beneath them.

So now we also have to debate through every culture, every country, and all throughout history? Do we also have to discuss some African tribes and how they go about their customs? Do we go back a million years to talk about the roles of males and females in those times? Do you want to go back even further and discuss the behaviours of primates before they evolved into humans? What does that have anything to do with living in todays western society? Ok, so let's talk about other countries and some examples showing male oppression. In many countries, males are forced into conscription (but not women). It's not like in the US or UK where they have the freedom and technology to not have the need for conscription. A vast majority of men in many countries are circumcised (child genital mutilation). Is that happening to women all over the world like it's happening to men? But you're probably going to say, "well that's men's fault." So mothers aren't involved? Why aren't women refusing to have their son's mutilated? Why is it ok to mutilate boys but not girls? You can talk all you want about oppression in different countries, cultures, and throughout history, but don't you ever ignore the fact men have also suffered from oppression brought on by necessity to protect a country, the culture, and the people, including WOMEN.

"(And before you say, "See, they did it!" and try to justify men not letting women go to school, these women were not the majority. A lot of the time they were rich or famous, so their money allowed them to do things other women couldn't do. Most women couldn't go to school, thus more women couldn't contribute to society. Because of men using their physical strength to bully them. Not because men are smarter or better (but again...you don't think this right? Because you're not a misogynist?) So, get out of here with that "men built the world" nonsense. Of course you did. You did everything in your power to prevent us from achieving the same.) Those women were exceptions to the rule. I know you hate history and you want to ignore it, but crack open a book. Most women weren't doing what those female inventors were doing at the time, because men prevented it. Those are facts and they don't care about your hurt feelings."

So again, you're going back to past customs and cultures that today's Western men have no control over? Ok, so if you want to go back to gender roles in the past, then let's talk about why men suffered from past expectations of masculinity. Only men were allowed to fight and die in wars, men were responsible for the safety of the family, men were expected to provide for the family often dying from hard dangerous labour, in most agricultural societies, men were responsible for food production, crafts, administration of the institutions of state and temple, defense of the population from outside threats, and most other duties outside the domestic sphere. So stop implying only women were suffering. Each had their roles, and they made it work. Otherwise, we wouldn't be here today.

"I'm not allowed to ignore everything men do in society. That's mostly what we learn about in school while ignoring female inventors. You tried to shove "men's accomplishments" in my face the first chance you got, remember? That's what a lot of you do."

Then go back to school, because you're uneducated. You don't understand history and how it led to today's Western society where women have more protection, opportunities, and rights than men do. You have tried to shove "women's suffering" in my face every chance you get while ignoring men's suffering and accomplishments in the past and present.

"Also, I definitely stand behind my opinion that the world would be better off without men like you. I have no respect for men like you at all, and I'll repeat it as many times as you want to hear ;)"

Yeah, repeat it as much as you want. It just proves you have no respect for men, that's why you continue to slander men. You're a true toxic misandrist. The world would be better off without a racist toxic misandrist like you.

"The percentage would be much higher if men didn't harass women in those fields. No one wants to go into a dangerous field AND also deal with their co-workers not respecting them and thinking they're better than them. Again, there are studies on this, but since you apparently don't believe in studies and statistics, and just how YOU feel, I won't bother to link it."

πŸ˜‚Here we go again, always back to this. Your only excuse you have. So again, that's your excuse why more women aren't doing hard, dangerous jobs?πŸ˜‚Yeah, that's definitely the reason. All those men out there are just lining up to abuse any women brave enough to risk their lives doing dangerous jobs. Why bother doing any job at all if men are just waiting for you? Please stop this nonsense. You have to slander and degrade men to justify your pathetic reasons.

"You really are just plain stupid. Saudi Arabia is NOT a race. It is a nationality. This is a fact that can easily be looked up. Then again, I know how hard that is for you."

πŸ˜‚You are so stupid. Do you even know what the definition of race is? It describes a group of people who share physical characteristics, such as skin colour and facial features. They may also share similar social or cultural identities and ancestral backgrounds. You can't weasel your way out of this one. You're a disgusting toxic racist.

"But I have no respect for any countries that use "tradition" or "culture" as an EXCUSE to treat members of their society like children when they are grown adults. That's disgusting and evil. If you live in one of those countries, stop being evil and let your women control their own money and get a driver's license. It's not your right to restrict them, and "culture" is a convenient excuse."

Then go tell them. I have nothing to do with that. Your toxic racist misandrist mind assumed i agree or I'm involved.

You're a raging, evil, racist misandrist who seems to enjoy the fact that men are suffering for our country, our society, and our families. You do not respect men if you think it's ok to humiliate and degrade them.

I feel sorry for the ML. After everything he's been through and done for her, she's never cared for him or trusted him. First, without any solid evidence, only suspicion, she believes he killed her, and after she discovers he didn't kill her, she can't even trust him to tell him who she really is. She's going around telling everyone else her identity, even the SML, but refuses to tell the person she's supposed to be in love with. I'm on episode 10, so let's see how this plays out. The SML has the upper hand knowing her identity, so he can freely pursue her, but the poor ML has to struggle with conflicting emotions brought on by his feelings for Cai Wei and now Cai Wei in Shangguan Zhi's body. Let's see how long the FL will torment the ML.

Edit: oh how sweet, the FL is out enjoying herself with her new love the SML while the ML is out investigating a case.

Edit: I'm on episode 13, and i think there might be a blooming love between the SML and the SFL. That's great news, i hope she draws him away from the FLπŸ™

No, it doesn't start before episode 8 because i am currently on episode 7. And so far, there's no romance at all. How can there be when she believes he killed her? Have you really watched this or have you forgotten?

Hmmmm, that really is slow burn. So only about a third of the drama is romance😞 But i don't understand something, when the FL discovers the ML didn't kill her (which i believe is in episode 8) why didn't she tell him who she is immediately at that moment?

Ok, but I'm on episode 7 now. Apart from the first 2 episodes, there's not much romance. And she believes he killed her, which is holding them back. So when does this romance start?
