Nonsense. Second lead syndrome is used for any handsome SML. Many ship the bad boy SML with the FL just because he's handsome. That's why second lead syndrome exists.
Stop the nonsense disregarding double standards in dramaland. It's clear that double standards favouring FL's exist. You must be blind not to see all the male characters throwing themselves at the FL. Meanwhile, the ML will struggle to get attention from any female characters except the FL, even if he's super handsome. The majority of viewers love and encourage the FL to be involved with multiple men. "You go girl" is one of my favourite responses. And yet, what do we get when the ML hangs out with another female character? "Toxic," "red flag." Who do you think is their target audience when making these romcom Asian dramas? Let me give you a hint, It's not men. So why would they make dramas biased towards men? I don't need research to prove this. I see it all the time. So don't give me this nonsense that male characters are equal to female characters. Stop bringing your personal feelings into this and start using common sense.
Once again, did I say women haven't achieved anything? Yes, they've done great things, and I haven't denied that. In fact, this just proves women aren't oppressed and absolutely have equal rights to men, and if not even more rights than men do. So it's funny how you claim women are oppressed and have no rights, but then go on to achieve all these great things. So which one is it? Are they oppressed with no rights locked up at home like slaves, or do they have rights that allow women to achieve great things? Stop talking nonsense and contradicting yourself.
