Someone may have mentioned it on here already but vigilante WEBTOON has a second season and some chapters are already out (only available in certain regions i think) so this makes me think k drama will also have a second season

I finished deaths game yday which was also 8 eps & i feel likd they did so well fitting in loads of content in 8 eps & had depth, i couldnt help but compare to vigilante & how it could have been if it had more depth to it. Vigilante was good but also had room to be so much better, they could have done so much with ji yongs character. Maybe if they do a s2, they can add these improvements in.

Yes i do feel like the reporter scenes sometikes overshadowed the kim ji yong scenes, some eps it felt like he was barley there

I agree. I read half of the webtoon & i was really looking forward to how they would portray kim ji yongs character but they focusdd more on the action scenes than anything else i felt. It was more of an entertaining watch but deffo lacked depth and sometimes i felt like we didnt see much of kim ji yong. The drama itself had so much potential and i wish it was longer than 8 eps bc i feel they could have fleshed it out more

The webtoon had more depth in that sense but yes Kim Ji Yong is such a complex character & they could have done loads with that so i was abit disappponted there too. Like in the webtoon we see him become addicted to killing & the way it affecrs him. I felt his character in drama was more cold.

Honestly i loved seonwook, i know he didnt get alot of screentime but he was such good and pure vibes, he deserved so much bettrr 😭

This explains why KJY was portrayed the way he was in the k drama. In webtoon he is more psychotic but in k drama he has his psycho moments but all in all just wants to deliver justice. I feel he didnt feel as much pleasure killing criminals like he did in the webtoon. I do like how the director considered all of these things

Webtoon is finished but had a vague ending, they are deffo testing the waters for a s2 with that ending

I dont think they have confirmed a s2 yet, Yoo Ji Tae said its been in the talks but nothing confirmed. It also depends on the cast too if they are all down for s2

I liked the nam yeongil character too its a shame he had a short stint. And i think yoo ji tae did amazing in this role but i have seen negative comments about his acting which i cant understand

I can see a few people liked Kim So Jins character so i would recommned a previous drama she was in called through the darkness if you havent already watched! A very good and underrated drama about criminal profiling

It depends what region you are based in. Im based in UK but only 80 chapters available here. I only know the ending bc slmeone told me and i saw a rough copy of it which was in mandarin but it got taken down

Similar ending, in the webtoon it was more vague about wheter ji yong would continue as a vigilante, i think the webtoon had a more optimistic ending bc ji yong went to south america with cheif monster for abit after all the final villian battle, whereas in drama its quite obvious he isnt giving up his vigilante activities, i think the drama had abit more of a sad end. Webtoon ending kim ji yong was smiling happily but drama ending we all saw his face.

Seonwook death made me more sad too bc he died protecting ji yong and then was blamed for being vigolante in his death... they did him dirty 😭

Hahaha it was so chaotic, a rave goiing on in the background meanwhile all the bad guys chasing eachother and beating eachother up, police turning up out of nowhere and it was all livestreamed 🤣
