I am confused. How did Cho Heon lift up a car? This is so random lol
Haha his meant to be portrayed as having super strength, its how his portrayed in the webtoon too, i think its just for entertainment purposes & to make the character more intimidating in a way
I started reading the webtoon and holy shit I have such mixed opinions about this lmfao
I deffo think reading the webtoon does make you have mixed opinions bc of the portayals of the character's, as k drama is much more fast paced not as much development
People where literally complaining about Jiyoung not wearing a mask.. When in the web toon he didn't.. And now…
Tbf i can understand why ji yong doesnt wear a mask, he does it on purpose. He wants the enemies to see his face. Its just certain things in the webtoon like when kim ji yong has a night mare and one point he almost throws up bc of overwhelming emotion, maybe they will add that in the last few eps but yesh they mainly sticking to the main points and not delving into too much
I also think the issue with reading the webtoon prior to the k drama is that you end up developing an expectation of the k drama to follow every aspect of webtoon & when it doesnt, you end up disappointmented & it sort of falls flat? I now understand why some people chose not to read the webtoon lol dont get me wrong vigilante is doing great but there is lack of depth and development in some scenes which had that in webtoon
but yo they are already showing the Jiyong and Cho Heon fight?? things are moving fast for sure.I honestly wish…
Im gonna give benefit of the doubt here, i think there is a chase scene between chief monster and ji yong so maybe it will lead them to similar locality to webtoon? Also probs to do with filming sites too but i agree with you both. I also felt disappointmented with fake vigilante vs ji yong bc fight was more intense but idk if there will be a round 2 to that when they meet again in ep 5??
I'm struggling with the lack of tactfulness the ML is showingI know kdramas famously have incredibly incompetent…
I feel like he wasnt as reckless in the webtoon & was more strategic, we arent really seeing his thought process either, again if they were able to prolong the drama to a few more eps, we would have seen more development but they are just cutting to the chase with everything
Random thought : what if the professor or the cop is Jiyong's dad? they didnt show his dad at the beginning
I dont think so, they never really delved into his dad in the webtoon either. I was curious about his father too but maybe he died when ji yong was a baby or something.
This show is just good tv.Needed more episodes to stretch the story out a bit better for development but even…
Hm the professor protecting Ji Yong is an interesting take..i have noticed that the professor pays alot of attention to ji yong but i didnt really think that he could know.
I also think the webtoon explored more of KJY thoughts bc it showed his thought process during and after his actions, i feel in the k drama we arent really seeing this, we dont even know what his thinking but Joo-Hyuk is doing great in conveying emotions through his facial expressions
I like this a lot but it really should've been at least 14 eps to fully build the world and characters it wants…
Yeah thats the thing, the plot has so much potential bc theres so much to delve into and it would be good to explore KJY mental health in all of this..deffo should have been 12-16 eps but i feel like they focusing more on the entertainment of it
I also think the eps are wayy to short to fit everything in so in that sense it does feel a lil rushed and like they are trying to cram everything into 8 eps which may explain why its missing that emotional depth. I feel like they tryna go more for like a marvel entertainment vibe. Webtoon had some scenes which focused on kim ji yongs inner conflict & the way his actions were mentally affecting him (hope they add some of this in the last 4 eps).
