My thoughts on the first 4 eps (im a NJH fan so i may be biased at some things)

Joo-Hyuk is doing so well in this role & truly beleive he suits the role of Kim Ji Yong. Director nim was right about his eyes.

Ep 1 - 2 was more introductory but i liked how they showed Ji Yongs emotions, esp after his killings he was physically & mentally depleted collapsing on his sofa. I also like his friendship with his 2 friends, esp SeonWook. Seonwook deffo knows something, you can tell his been observing Ji Yong & we saw this further in ep 3 & 4. He either knows Ji Yong is vigilante or has a gut feeling around that. I didnt realise how fast paced it was going to be so i was expecting more depth.

From ep 3 and 4 we can see it is slowly reaching its climax. I enjoyed the ending of ep 3. I was slightly disappointed in kim ji yong vs fake vigilante as it was quite quick and in the webtoon the fight was longer & had more depth & script (i forgot to mention i have read the webtoon but only 80 chaps as thats whats availabile in my region)

Yoo Ji Taes character is a BEAST 🤣 Kim so jins character doesnt really interest me if im honest.

Bottom line, all the characters in vigilante are stark raving mad 🤣

Overall its an enjoyable watch and intrigued to know how they will wrap it all up in the last 4 eps.

Loving Joo-Hyuk's raw face too 👀

The one thing this show is lacking is emotional depth.... it's difficult to emphasize with the characters, I don't…
I think the webtoon was abit better at this imo, its bc they tryna cram everything into 8 eps

I can't quite put my finger on it yet but something is missing. I'm not sure what the writer intends to achieve…
I think its missing emotional depth
