This is fairly ridiculous. Slapstick farce at its most mediocre. The singing is excellent, but the fight scenes and sloppy direction/editing are subpar. The actors all look a bit lost and as if they just got their scripts 5 minutes before filming. Not sure I'll be able to stick it out for the entire run, but just silly enough to keep me interested for the next episode.
On You're My Sky Jan 18, 2022
Not great. Not bad. A little slow and a lot of wasted time on things that don't move the story forward. As funny as the cheering scene was, it went on for far too long. But I'm enjoying it so far and looking forward to many many many couples. - I do find it amusing when the plot revolves around sports and its obvious the actors are not very good athletes. A little hard to believe they'll win the championship when Thorn can barely dribble. LOL

Ep 11 started off slow. It was more tourist promotion than story, then suddenly, all those heartfelt confessions and open hearted exchanges had me tearing up repeatedly. What I have loved about this show from the beginning was the open and honest communication between these two, the way they never hesitate to express their true feelings, and the way they put aside their own desires to satisfy the others' needs. I also love how casual and natural they are physically. There is none of that typical BL awkwardness. This is how real lovers behave, not BL ships. For such a simple story this has really been a superb series. Can't wait (and dreading) the last ep.
On Tinted with You Jan 17, 2022
Light fluff with a nice period setting. There wasn't much to this, but I still enjoyed it. The entire premise is a bit ridiculous and the ending felt anti-climactic. Worst kisses I've seen in years. But with such little time investment, this is worth a quick binge. I wonder if Season 2 is in the works. Would be interesting to see them all navigate 2022.

The numbers on youtube are different. They split each of the "real" episodes into two.
Oh no. I can't sit through 6 more episodes. DROPPING.

I don’t think it bcoz he is ukea because p’aof told , there is no top or bottom in this series, only two boys…
I agree with all of you and all of the various possibilities. The fact that there is no clear answer may be one of the best things about this series.

I DO think that Pran has been the more emotionally vulnerable character. Yes, Pat is more demonstrative with his emotions, but not vulnerable. Pran has been crying since Ep 3 or something (the first sleep-over where Pat said he was interested in Ink). So I bought into the crying because I thought he was that type of character. Did I think the situation JUSTIFIED crying? No. I also agree that Pat should be more upset than Pran. He's found out his father is despicable. But I don't think he should be crying either. Yes, these boys lost time together - but it's not like they would have started dating at 12 years old. They reunited and have a very strong, healthy relationship. Their parents digressions and faults are not theirs. If anything, they should know they have the right to stand up to them now and say, you of all people can not dictate how I live my life.

But I don't think this is trope behavior. I think it's deeper character behavior. One thing that struck me in this episode is when Pran kept pushing Pat away from him during intimate scenes, and what I realized was it had nothing to do with propriety. Pran wasn't embarrassed or ashamed or being virginal. He was concerned that someone from their families would see them. He also is very strong, teases just as good as he gets teased and challenges Pat (those eye wags during the faculty confession, daring him to declare his love aloud). That's not typical uke behavior.

I did find it odd that they chose to declare their love openly in front of the entire faculty - as if that wouldn't get back to their parents somehow. So a bit of a mis-step from a logic/scripting aspect there, for me.

For the Ink/Pa relationship. I have to agree with those that find the chemistry lacking. I think Pa is doing a great job, but I'm getting no feelings from Ink at all. That second "rule" ("Look into their eyes.") tells it all. Ink's eyes are flat, lifeless. There is no emotion in them when she's looking at Pa. Pa, however, seems totally enamored.

I would love a Wai/Korn ship, but I'd also be totally furious since it would come from out of nowhere.

Finally, I agree with whoever said they would watch another 10 episodes of these two just going about their days. I don't need any drama, I just love their playful banter and competitiveness, even when there is nothing to compete about (they're still trying to get the other to admit who liked who first... ridiculous and adorable!)

This was not what I was expecting and in a good way. A slice of life, a real moment. I didn't entirely believe that these guys felt this connection, since their interaction and dialogue had been so minimal, but I really enjoyed the sentiment of it all. Boss is adorable and I'd like to see more of him. I want to rewatch IPYTM to remind myself of his role in that series. But this felt like it was actually written by someone who had experienced app dating/hook up culture, instead of some straight woman's fetish. Touched me in a way few other films have, in its sad longing for more. Well done.
On A First Love Story Jan 7, 2022
Absolutely perfect, except I want more. The two leads truly embody their characters so well. I felt like I knew each of them after just spending a few minutes with them. Not sure who is my fav, they are both so good. I would watch 100 episodes of these two, and I'll watch these two eps again and again. Adorable.

I'm confused. The series page says 8 episodes, but I just watched episode 10 and got a preview for another. How many damn episodes are there? I keep waiting... HOPING.... for it to end.

Not very good. No real story, absolutely zero character development. A series of vignettes strung together. Sun was almost stalker-ish to the point where it made me uncomfortable. Then Mog shows up and is exactly the same way. Great way to distinguish your characters, screenwriter. The conflict with the Dad came from out of nowhere and was resolved even more quickly. Direction and cinematography seemed rushed and amateur. The boys were okay. But with so little to work with, they were just left saying cute cliches and didn't really get to exhibit real emotions. Dad felt like more of a crew member they asked to stand in for the part than an experienced actor. Will not rewatch and do not recommend.

I’m dying but factsss still gonna continue the show because wayu is wayy to cute not to
LOL. You do you. I find almost everyone else in the cast cuter, but that's just personal taste. Enjoy the show.
On Gen Y Season 2 Jan 1, 2022
I was not a fan of 2 Moons 2, and only a mild fan of Gen Y. One of the main reasons is the Wayu character, and how the actor and director choose to portray him. And here we are in Episode 1 and he is INFURIATING me. I understand you're upset and conflicted when your first love returns, but this zombie-like behavior, unable to get yourself back to your own dorm, or even buckle your own seatbelt is just too much. I can't take it. These long shots where no one speaks, where people don't answer direct questions drive me crazy. I can't. I just can't. DROPPED.

@Shang Qiling thanks. Hope you enjoy them. I'm creating an anime project about a boy and his pet pig, hence the picture.

Look for "Love, Victor" and "Genera+ion". Both very good LGBTQ+ Western series.

It's interesting to me how many people on this site rate other people's opinions more than the show itself.

Title My Love Mix-Up! Spoiler
Super sweet and (never thought I would say this) fluffy. It was just so cute. It's the most innocent and naive of BL universes I've seen in quite some time. Every feeling seems new and confusing for this crew. They don't know how to act on their impulses, but somehow they all have the courage to still act correctly and the maturity to express their feelings verbally. Yes, Aoki's childishness got to me after a while - but that was his character from the beginning, so I can't fault them for staying true to who he was. I loved Ida's thoughfulness. He too is confused and uncertain, but takes the time to consider everything seriously and act appropriately. Hashimoto may be one of my favorite female characters ever and Riko is perfect in the role. It's a universe where boys don't anguish over liking another boy - yet strangely worry how their partner will be treated FOR liking a boy. The rare moments of homophobia (from the teacher) felt entirely out of place to me, though. It felt like another series/universe. Seems ripe for a Season 2 and I would gladly watch them all navigate dating. The full circle eraser moments were adorable. I'll re-watch many times.

what did he do?
Exactly. For a guy who is too busy to keep his commitments, he sure has a lot of time to show up and hang around.

somebody said it below but aoki is just scared of putting his feelings out to ida and getting nothing in return.…
I understand his feelings. But being afraid and acting like a baby are two different things. And let's not forget that this is the first time Ida has liked a boy and had a relationship. So his inability to express his feelings is understandable as well. I get it. They're kids. They react impulsively and dramatically. But what was endearing for me at the start has become bothersome. But that's just me.

Title Boy's Choir
Slow pace. Nice metaphors and symbolism. Good dialogue that works on multiple levels. Not really a BL film, just hints of attraction. More of a political statement than a romance. Wish I knew more about the period and the politics of the time to gain a better insight. Will not rewatch.
