As a webtoon reader, I wouldn't be satisfied if those 10 minutes of bickering didn't happen. It's loyal to the…
I did not in any way mean or imply that I wanted anything tender or romantic and I certainly never said I wanted kisses. That’s all on you and in your heads. Please don’t put words in my mouth and then blame me for them.
BL kisses rarely have any tongue. I don't think that AiiSaen kiss had any either, it was just a well performed…
Yes, there’s no need for aggression, but I will admit that sometimes I don’t even realize the tone of my own remarks. All of our opinions are valid and worth considering.
I wanna know smth...how many of you all knew OffGun before Not Me and how many became acquainted with OffGun after…
Knew them both from other BL, seperate and then paired. I liked Off more in his secondary comedic roles, although I think he's doing a pretty good job here. Despite Gun's acting chops, I've never been a big fan.
That was kinda rough. Not a fan of all the long pauses between lines, waiting for someone to respond, many times getting no response at all. Totally ridiculous premise. Didn't buy the immediate connection. Why would you let some stranger hang out at your house, feed him, get him drunk. It just felt awkward and amateurish. Not horrible, but in need of better directing/editing. The actors show SOME promise, so I'll stick it out for another ep, but not getting the vibes yet and not feeling hopeful.
I found the first 10 mins of Ep 3 to be a total waste, just a rehash of exactly what we've gotten in the first 2 eps. Things finally started to get going in the bar. I'm not finding either character that interesting or likeable, although nothing horribly wrong. Just shallow and under developed. It's a short series, so I'll stick with it and hope for the best tom come.

I was watching a Western drama last night and the two straight leads were having passionate sex, and I didn't see a tongue anywhere. I don't think tongue is as common as we might like.
And I think it all depends on the moment. Sometimes, a passionate kiss is called for (and I love it when it is), but sometimes a chaste kiss is exactly what those two characters would do in that moment. I tend to think of tongue as a precursor to sex, and they certainly weren't going to do that in the dorm.
I've had long-term boyfriends and not every one of our kisses was a tongue-fest. Just saying.
Fah's excitement and desire to express his love for Thorn was an unexpected and welcome twist on the usual BL hesitance. Wanting to hold hands and tell their teammates was adorable. I like how Thorn smacked his hand away. No doe-eyed naif, this one. 143. Expressed by both, so soon. My heart. Loved the fantasy scene where they told the teammates. Funny. The cute glances shared by Aii and San during the stretch, and then Wee helping San understand Aii's reluctance. Good friends, here. The team supporting Fah and encouraging him to try out, instead of playing their match. Great friends, all. The beautiful, unselfish advice Thorn gives Fah in bed. I thought the chaste kiss was the perfect kiss for that moment. But the reactions of the team were priceless. My favorite moment of the series, so far. San giving Aii the space and time he needs - only to be slapped by the news that he's going to Japan. Great drama. Pan's advice to Wee and her "i love you" prompting him to get sick (along with his nerves, and possibly something more serious if I'm reading the preview correctly).
This was some of the best, most natural/realistic writing I've seen in BL.
Although I will say, I'm still not sure how Coach Tuan is still coaching given his scandal.
I don't know if I have the stomach for this one. I wanted to stop watching many times in the first episode and all because of Lian. I know I'm in the minority here and I'm glad you're all enjoying it, but not sure I can continue.
Kuea is adorable. But Lian is a despicable character. I know they need to create conflict between the two, but when you create such an unlikeable character it's hard for me to root for them, and I certainly don't want Kuea to settle for less than what he deserves. I know they've "loved" each other since they were kids, but certainly Kuea saw what kind of a person Lian had become over the years. Why he would still be in love is beyond comprehension. Especially if he feels he has to hide his true self to maintain their relationship. Good luck keeping that up for 70 years. And now that they've established that Lian doesn't love Kuea, I don't understand why either of them would want to reconcile.
There were a lot of ridiculous elements that I just couldn't get on board with. But truly, if I had liked Lian even a little bit, I might have forgiven all of the other issues. I may give it one more ep, but I just don't think this is for me. What a shame.
Eh. It was an okay sitcomy beginning. Not horrible, but not really my cup of tea. I might give it one more episode, but doubt I'll be sticking around for more than that.
Abysmal. That laugh track made it even worse. They put laughs in places where no one would EVER laugh. Made no sense at all. And maybe it was the sub, but the lines weren't remotely funny even when they were supposed to be. The set looks like it was for a high school production and will fall over if anyone slams the door. Both main actors were decent, so maybe in another production I will enjoy their performances, but I won't be sticking around to watch anymore of this drek. Dropped and wish I had something to get this bad taste out of my mouth.
How often on here when a decent series ends do you see comments after the final episode where people are saying…
The problem, as I see it, is that none (or most) of these series weren’t created to support multiple seasons. Typically when writing a series, you contemplate how to evolve the stories and characters and how to raise the stakes. But most of these shows have been created with just one season in mind, so it’s no wonder they don’t know what to do in S2. Once they are successful the writers then have to scramble to figure out how to extend the story, not because they want to see the characters grow, but because they want to capitalize on the show. Granted there are challenges with BL. The genre hinges on getting the two boys together but once there together they don’t know what to do with them. That’s why characters do not evolve. And why S2s generally suck.
Black knows he's the one who saw them kissing. The unedited preview of that scene was floating around twitter.…
I'm talking about WHITE. White thinks Black doesn't know anything. It doesn't matter what Black knows. White THINKS he doesn't know anything. So he should tell his brother what has been going on, especially the fact that he's been sleeping with one of his friends. Cuz there's a good chance Sean is gonna kiss the next guy who approaches him. So maybe give your brother a heads up.

But White doesn't know he saw them. And Black certainly doesn't know what they've been up to crime-wise, since he's been in a coma. Bring your brother up to speed.
Might be a good idea to tell your brother you're sleeping with his friend... just so he doesn't throw punches when Sean starts ripping his clothes off. Just saying...

So excited for Ep 8.
