I don't know if I have the stomach for this one. I wanted to stop watching many times in the first episode and all because of Lian. I know I'm in the minority here and I'm glad you're all enjoying it, but not sure I can continue.

Kuea is adorable. But Lian is a despicable character. I know they need to create conflict between the two, but when you create such an unlikeable character it's hard for me to root for them, and I certainly don't want Kuea to settle for less than what he deserves. I know they've "loved" each other since they were kids, but certainly Kuea saw what kind of a person Lian had become over the years. Why he would still be in love is beyond comprehension. Especially if he feels he has to hide his true self to maintain their relationship. Good luck keeping that up for 70 years. And now that they've established that Lian doesn't love Kuea, I don't understand why either of them would want to reconcile.

There were a lot of ridiculous elements that I just couldn't get on board with. But truly, if I had liked Lian even a little bit, I might have forgiven all of the other issues. I may give it one more ep, but I just don't think this is for me. What a shame.

Eh. It was an okay sitcomy beginning. Not horrible, but not really my cup of tea. I might give it one more episode, but doubt I'll be sticking around for more than that.

Abysmal. That laugh track made it even worse. They put laughs in places where no one would EVER laugh. Made no sense at all. And maybe it was the sub, but the lines weren't remotely funny even when they were supposed to be. The set looks like it was for a high school production and will fall over if anyone slams the door. Both main actors were decent, so maybe in another production I will enjoy their performances, but I won't be sticking around to watch anymore of this drek. Dropped and wish I had something to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

Makes me wonder is Aii/San will be the focus of S2....????

The problem, as I see it, is that none (or most) of these series weren’t created to support multiple seasons. Typically when writing a series, you contemplate how to evolve the stories and characters and how to raise the stakes. But most of these shows have been created with just one season in mind, so it’s no wonder they don’t know what to do in S2. Once they are successful the writers then have to scramble to figure out how to extend the story, not because they want to see the characters grow, but because they want to capitalize on the show. Granted there are challenges with BL. The genre hinges on getting the two boys together but once there together they don’t know what to do with them. That’s why characters do not evolve. And why S2s generally suck.

I'm talking about WHITE. White thinks Black doesn't know anything. It doesn't matter what Black knows. White THINKS he doesn't know anything. So he should tell his brother what has been going on, especially the fact that he's been sleeping with one of his friends. Cuz there's a good chance Sean is gonna kiss the next guy who approaches him. So maybe give your brother a heads up.

But White doesn't know he saw them. And Black certainly doesn't know what they've been up to crime-wise, since he's been in a coma. Bring your brother up to speed.

Yeah they definitely showed their hand with Tod from the start.

Might be a good idea to tell your brother you're sleeping with his friend... just so he doesn't throw punches when Sean starts ripping his clothes off. Just saying...

I dropped this after Ep 1, but skimmed through Ep 9 to see if I had missed anything. Couldn't stomach it. FF through most of it. Then reading these comments, I wonder how these writers/directors get hired at all. No one seems to like this show, yet its one of the few BL that gets multiple seasons. I'm dumbfounded.

There is some potential here, but a lot of crap to slog through to get to it. Version I watched had some of the worst subtitles ever. Entire sentences reduced to "It?" And... No one has to stay at the hospital for two days for a broken tooth. It's as if the writers have never lived in the real world. Dropped.

Eh. A minor mini series. Super Mini. At 2-3 mins per ep this is only the surface of everything. Never really felt like they were falling in love, until one declares it to the other. And its over before anything really begins. A cute little diversion, but nothing worth rewatching.

Forgive me, the gender swapping. I always forget how rigid the fans on MDL are.

I loved the first ep. Beautiful story telling. Really felt ZLJ's pain and heartbreak. When Grandpa finally makes him smile my heart melted. Sad that I won't get to see their relationship any more, but intrigued by what's to come. I don't care if it's bromance, it's still an interesting idea, well-told.

Intriguing idea. Like this new take on the genre, especially the gender-bending. Wasn't blown away, but interested to see how it plays out.

Yes, boys will be boys (thank god!). That's an interesting point. I didn't get that feeling, but you may be right.

Both kisses kind of caught me off guard. I didn't think BOTH couples would get to that point in the same ep. FahThorn made sense to me, since they've been repressing their feelings for so long that I can imagine once the dam burst open they would go for it. San and Aai felt a bit rushed, given Aai's hesitance all along. And to see them shirtless the next morning means they moved really fast onto the next stage (which San confirmed to his Grandma!). Actually, that's believable, given they are teenage boys. Those kisses would have made me move on quickly too! Haha. I'm not complaining. I'm happy to see them all together, but I just wish the writers would have given us one couple at a time and spread the kisses out over several eps. So I'm glad the DomeVee kiss was held off for another ep or 2. I know this is a tricky relationship for many, but I think they are handling it very well here. Two steps forward, one step back as rational thinking replaces lust.Curious to see how it all plays out over 6 more eps. Lots to look forward to.

This series was a guilty pleasure of mine, for while it had many flaws, I still found myself enamored with WatTine and all their friends. I knew the movie would be a cut down version of the series, but I never really thought about how much would actually be cut out. Well, it was a lot, naturally. Unfortunately many of my favorite moments. We don’t get to see all the little moments that slowly made them (or rather made Tine) fall in love. The first rule of movie making is Show Don’t Tell but this movie is all voice over TELLING us the story. If I had just seen the movie and not the series, I probably would not have finished it. Disappointing. Like others have said, I would have been happier with a Special Episode but then they couldn’t have released that in the theaters to make a quick buck, could they?

Dang. This one has gotten its fangs into me. First, Yoo Seo Bin may be one of the cutest men ever. He's doing a very good job with this role, as well. Sorry to read about his checkered past. Means I can't ever be his BF (haha). Love a good vampire story and the way the story is progressing is somewhat unexpected. Nice job. Relies a bit too much on flashbacks, which are entirely unnecessary, since the eps are so short that there is no way I've forgotten what happened 5 minutes ago - and especially since they could use that valuable screen time for more character development. But looking forward to the next 4 eps.
