Dang it, my rant didn't post. Suffice it to say, some potential. Wasted screen time on so many unnecessary elements. 8+ angles of them staring at each other? Really? Glacial pacing. The stakes better get raised or I'll lose interest quickly . Glad to see Mark in the lead.

If this was the only episode I had watched, I would drop this show. Such a waste of good talent.

Director - if you've never made love before, maybe watch some movies to give you an idea of how to shoot a love scene. That was bland as hell.

I felt like this episode was wasted. I got very little information that I didn't already know. I know we were SUPPOSED to understand Phob's feelings from his POV, but in all honesty, I understood most of that already because Man's acting has been so strong throughout that I knew and understood his feelings from the very start. I didn't need to have them explain it any further. This was the 6th time we had seen many of these scenes, so I not only understood it, but I was already tired of seeing the same scene again and again and again and again and instead of giving me MORE feelings, it just diminished the good feelings I had on previous eps. I still like the series and the acting, but this episode could have been cut down to a 5 minute scene. However, I am very excited to see how they wrap it all up next week.

My "go back to girls" was meant to be a joke. I'll leave comedy to the professionals from here on.

I understand WHY someone may be aloof, but they just take it to an extreme that I find unrealistic and it takes me out of the moment. and then I have trouble rooting for those characters. But as you say, to each their own.

I'm enjoying the Fiat/Leo drama. But I hate characters like Pob. Who acts like this? I'm gonna sit next to you, but refuse to talk to you and refuse to answer your questions, but then be nice to you. One of my least favorite BL tropes. The unresponsive dude. Leon is so fine and can obviously get anyone he wants. Toss Pob aside and go back to girls. He's not worth it.

Such an important message - and such a disappointing finale. This episode was one of the worst as far as scripting and direction. So many important stories to tie up, but instead we waste time watching the make-up artist touch up Ait's face? Or ask "where's Bas" about 20 times? James' big speech is about "don't be afraid to love" - is that the message of this series? Forget about the problems of the industry this was supposed to reveal. Just "show your love". That hasn't been the problem or main issue. Address the problems in the industry, the fan-service, the indentured servitude, etc etc etc. And they never deal with the video of Tee molesting Bas, just let him run off stage. And when Bas shows his face (did no one really recognize him in the press conference?), don't ask about the scandal, just ask if he has a boyfriend. And then pretend that everything in hunky dory and they all get to make their BL series without any repercussions or problems. I don't think so. Just miserable, amateur level scripting. - Bas and Marco gave good performances, but everything else was incredibly underwhelming. I will never watch this again.

Never known this to happen, but watch the show and tell me why anyone would fall for the lead, given his catatonic state.

Great to see the confirmation of Note & Tar's relationship (and a long-term relationship at that!).
Not sure why we needed a very long scene about how to encourage teens living with cancer - especially when the answer is "smile" (and odd, since Phob is not a teen).
Too many flashbacks AGAIN, and a lot that do not speak to what they are actually remembering. Strange choices for filler.

Next ep looks like a tear jerker.

4 episodes in and I find this one kinda bland. It's not offensive or bad, but it's also not very interesting. But it does seem to be improving ep to ep, so I'l keep watching.

It was all wrapped up a little too quickly and there were some major shifts in character so they could end it all nicely but overall a very satisfying ending with all of our characters growing and learning and becoming better people by the end. That's a major feat in any show, but virtually unheard of in BL. Kudos to all involved.

4 really strong characters... and then there was Tae Kyung. Oh well. Can't win them all.

Great friends and allies that made me fall in love with the entire cast. Even without a love story, I would watch these characters.

I don't know how others judge a love triangle, but keeping me guessing the outcome until Ep 16 (even tho I knew the outcome from Ep1) was a great job by the writers. A million little details that added so much to the overall.

Seems like we'll get S2, from the Teacher's tease and the "our story is just getting started" line. YAY! But I'll rewatch this again and again.

So... the new kid... with poor social skills... and only 3 friends in the school... wins the popularity contest. Hmm. Ok. LOL

Wow, y'all are gonna hate me, but 2 episodes in and I'm not feeling this one at all. I'm very tired of near-catatonic characters who never answer questions and who look like they're going to implode ALL THE TIME. Get some therapy. (I know there's a reason for his anguish, but it's too over the top for me). I've never met anyone who acted like this - and I've known plenty of folks who have experienced tragedy in their lives.

BL loves a boy who is damaged to the point that they can barely function in society. (I suppose so his one true love can "save" him). But I find it more annoying than endearing. They don't build in enough LIKEABLE traits to counter-act the unlikeable traits. They think we'll fall in love with him because he's a hurt little puppy dog. But in real life you don't like someone because they're damaged. You might have sympathy for them, but they need to have traits you like as well.

I'm not buying the attraction between the two leads and it feels a bit too contrived. Doubt I'll be able to finish this one. Go ahead, start the bashing...

I guess the whole contest was so he and ShinWoo could go shopping together? (For a horrible outfit) and so there could be moments where the boys touch each others faces putting on make up (Ummm... even I would not put on make up in high school). Otherwise I see no reason for the contest and certainly not for the win.

It's so often the problem and not just in BL, but any series. The lead character is the least interesting, but I agree, here they have made one of the blandest characters ever and had two very complex and interesting boys fall for him. But that's teenagers, right? I didn't fall for the guy who treated me best, I fell for whoever I crushed on at that moment in time. Usually they were 100% wrong for me.

I also agree that I don't really care what happens to TK. But I do care what happens to DO and SW. They should just have a throuple with Nam Goong.

And I would like to ban sweaters from all BL. Then again, fashion is not my forte. I'm sure the Korean teen girls are loving the sweater-tornado.

I agree, that none of the characters know what they want. They're teenagers. I didn't know either. And most of the time, I still don't know.

We don't have these kind of Contests here, so I'm unfamiliar with the whole "Prince" idea (or "Moon" in the Thai series) and the criteria for selection. But, all TK did was introduce himself (very poorly... with everyone complaining he should get off stage) and then he WINS??? Is it just a beauty contest? (Still don't think he would win).

Had to watch at 2x. I found Luigi far too stiff and non-expressive to get invested in the pairing. Han Jing Chen was good in his role. Wavered between laughably bad to sweet at times. Not a fan of the ending, but recognizing this was probably an attempt to appease some officials. One of the worst kisses ever, but again will forgive it knowing the challenges the production faced. I won't rewatch. Not sure you should either.
