Honestly the summary may seem a bit much but you can proceed with this freely in my opinion! They are not blood-related…
I don’t know if my memory is deficient and I am confusing this drama with another one but I am looking for the episode where the 2ml or someone makes the fl touch a flower or grass she is allergic to so as to confirm her identity but she controls her reaction but later the rashes come out on her skin. Please point me to the episode.

I don’t like the ending 🥹 They just ruined everything. Where are the five weapon spirits? I imagined all the heroes having dinner together and laughing at the end. Why did the High Priest not get his happy ending after all that suffering? Why didn’t the five old gods save Tanyin after discovering Hanny’s deception???????????
It seems nowadays directors don’t like leaving obvious happy endings. The world is already a shitty place. Why can’t we have an obvious happy ending in a make believe world????
The calm before the storm. I am dreading the coming episodes. I hope the High priest will live up to his promise to never get angry with Tanyin again.
Also, brilliant strategy by the High priest although unintended. Making a war demon your student/ally is a good one. Quin Lain will come through for his Shifu when the need arises.
I love this period of peace and romance. If only things could end like this.
Yuanzhong plays a guy in love for the first time very well. He is so cute and eager to please. I love the way he loves her. I love them both. And she has the teasing kind of smile that I love.
OMG. I just love it when the lyrics of the background music fits the scene or storyline perfectly. Episode 26 is a masterpiece.
“The wind of fate disrupts my life What’s real? What’s fake? Good and evil blur as I race through the mortal world. Racing forward, scars all over my body. Yet my gaze stays firm and unwavering. Cutting through this cold, bitter world. I may be as insignificant as dust. But I still dare to fight the stars. With my unyielding soul. When the world collapses I will draw my sword for you without a second thought. Fate is unpredictable like a flickering flame. I wield love and hate like a blade. Fearlessly roaming across the world.“
Ji Tan Yin’s smile right before running to him on the bridge was so mischievous, sweet and cute. The smile of a woman proud of her lover. And with him smiling in response they both forgave each other for their previous argument. I love scenes where actors communicate without words.
Mei Shan and everyone around the high priest knows he is in love with her.
His jealousy is so cute. He is already acting like she is his wife for real.
His face when he saw her having dinner with that painter was a picture of immense hurt.
Xiu will become like their adopted child.
I love that the fl sees the weapon spirits as people not just instruments and she is pushing the ML to see them that way as well.
The ml does not want Xiu to grow up quickly cos he is already reconsidering his plan to cleanse the world.
He reread the travel book she wrote for him. He is starting to consider abandoning his plan and traveling around the world with her.
I hope her faith in him remains strong no matter the situation that arises. I hope she doesn’t abandon him when she discovers what he has been thinking of doing to the world. She has entered his heart without her even knowing. (He dreamed of her in his consciousness)

That action showed he realized Tanyin played a role in the High priest decision.
Also the fact he held on the gift shows weapon spirits are not unfeeling instruments. They have a consciousness and personality.
I love the subtle nuances of cdramas.

I love the slow pace of this drama.
