Ah crap ... I complained about the nonsensical way Minato and Shin behave in S2 more than once and then they have to come and serve up a sweet final episode. While it doesn't completely erase the bad things the writers/director did to the sweet couple they created in S1, it was more than enough to watch it without feeling the urge to fast-forward. It was a good final episode, but it could have been the ending of S1 too ...
Shin never recovered his memories of Minato-san. Though he visited the coin laundry every day, he never again…
Well, at least one good thing came out of it: your writing! You should pursue a career in this, very well written. I've stopped reading stories like this long time ago (I read Dutch comics most of the times now, reality already surpassed every scifi book I was reading), but yours made me wonder if I should start again. If you have any good suggestions on a real lovey-dovey BL story to read, I'm all ears!
omg omg omg ... this is actually one of the first times I wished I could bingewatch the rest of the show. They are so cute together and had so many good moments in this show. And the ending even got better, I really thought it was going to be drama there ... And also: Ngern is yummy!
I just love their interaction,. The way this is filmed and the built-up of characters and their feelings is very well done. I gave it a 9, but I'm considering going up :-) And while I'm at it: go Perth!!!
Loving this so far. While Perth is the reason I started looking at this series, the combo Perth/Chimon works for me. Some other characters are less good (and I mean: the teacher trying to kiss a** to the rich kid is so not done), but they make up for it (and I still love Perth)!
Ok, I have to admit it. While the previous episodes were frustrating with an immature and childish Minato and over-possessive Shin, this episode seems to have corrected that. For once it was nice to watch it and not get annoyed by Minato, so ok: I'll watch next week too :-)
Cute, cuter, cutest ... while the story is not all that, the acting between the 2 main leads is pretty good. In EP4 I loved the bed-scene, it shows that (unlike some other shows) people still know how to actually kiss. And Sunny is ripped af!! I love the chemistry build-up (even though the story behind it is pretty flawed), so for me: 9/10 for now!
Just watched it and Perth rocks. Then I read here he was only 17 at the time ... doesn't change my point of view though, he's still the best actor of the series! I just have trouble with "cute and shy" Pete (played by Saint): the whole "I am gay but although I'm madly in love with you, you should be with a women so go away" thing was a big buzkill. He does that twice to Ae (almost 3 times), what kind of man must Ae be to still want to be with such a person? In my opinion the "shy insecure" Pete was over the top there: pushing someone away because they like you and you're gay and he's a man but a girl might like him??? I kept looking at the series because of the top-notch acting of Perth and the sizzling between Tin and Can (yes, I understand the pun ... a tin can ... they really should work on their choices of nicknames). The ending was great (and luckily a little bit less focused on Pete), even the drama was unexpected but wow.
Same feeling for A Boss and a Babe. And I'm gonna get bashed too(!) but really Force has the perfect facial non-expression…
For me, First was perfect in the Eclipse (and he has a great smile), so I hoped to see more good work from him. But the pairing here with Khaotung is not "wow" at all, and the social fingerpointing (like "smoking is bad for you") is really not necessary. Too bad ...
I'm going to get bashed by my comment ... but for me this is a no-go. The Eclipse-series was great, but putting the same actors again together as a couple while attempting to recreate the same magic is not ok. And Top/Mew never did it for me (not in ",A Boss and a Babe" either). Here it is (again) Top walking around like he owns the place, I just can't get over his facial non-expression. I find the whole thing disappointing so far ... Maybe I'll give it another go later on, but currently it is no longer on my to-watch list.
7.7 is way too HIGH for this show. You sure are suspiciously enthusiastic about a lame series, urging people to…
"suspiciously enthusiastic"??? I'm not affiliated to any BL show, in fact I'm from Belgium (go check my IP upon posting this if you don't believe me). While I accept people not liking the show, please accept the fact that I do like it. Agreeing to disagree is common courtesy, don't look down on other's opinion please!
I feel ... fulfilled. Good show, good ending, good actors. I was hesitant for the first episode, but it got magical real fast. There are so many good scenes here, even the dark ones, that I find myself rewatching parts over and over again. To all: go in the review section and give this some more points, 7.7 is way too low for a show of this caliber.
While I absolutely loved season 1, season 2 is losing it completely ... Never a kiss, never a hug, not sleeping together at all. And then the sick jealousy from both Minato and Shu ... and every little thing that can be misunderstood is being exploited beyond the extreme reasoning. Sorry, but this is getting frustrated to watch. Next to that, there's no understanding as why someone would ever fall in love with Sakuma, he's like a person from Vulcan but without the pointy ears. He let Asuka already down so many times that I wonder how many more hits Asuka can take ...
Everyone seems to be enjoying "Be My Favorite" by GMM. Everyone thinks the scriptwriting of the series is really…
Not sure how we got to "Be My Favorite" but so far that show is letting me down as well. It seems the director or screenwriters don't understand romantic build-up is needed ... I'm not writing it off just yet, need to give it some time first.
I like Jeng ....like a lot. But Pat? Really? Sorry, but the character is not well played, overly dramatic, always in pain, needs help and don't get me started on his first day at the office. Why would anybody fall in love with that? I give up ... I'm going to watch Sotus again
Ok, EP5 saved it for me. I thought the Ben-character to be too anxious all the time, but it changed during the course of EP5. I finally saw some chemistry between the two main characters, so I'm a happy person now :-)
It was a good final episode, but it could have been the ending of S1 too ...
