Last week I accepted that this show was not trying to be enjoyable and decided to stick with it because of my…
I am not into the MaxNat couple, but I'd watch anything with Max in it. Unfortunately, this show lost me. I couldn't get over the first episode already and your comment makes me believe I made the right decision :-)
I don't see why most people call Hayama a beautiful guy ... but leaving that out:a n obviously washed-away actor lands a gig as a co-star in a major production but in their first act he already messes up because he's in awe of Hayama's acting??? I'm already close to giving up, not feeling it tbh
I found the second episode a little less "ok" than the first. Reason is that sometimes Natsukawa acts a little too much like a scared cat, like when he almost (not) enters the restaurant, when he spills his drink etc ... It's ok to not be comfortable, but being that self-consious when going out to eat someting seems problematic to me ... All in all, this second episode was a little bit less ok, due to his overacting a bit.
Ok, I gave it a try ... two times even. But I couldn't get past the first ep, it's just so badly acted. I tried to get past the initial schreeking fans thing, but it didn't improve at all. A "colorist" changing the foto of a sunset because the colors are wrong, then claiming to enjoy the colors of the sea (even though it was night already) and then of course the leg cramp and *everybody" arriving too late to save him (again, even though everyone was there ...). And then waking up next to angry dad wanting to slap him because he doesn't recognise them, of course while he was badly wounded and in a hospital. Dropped unfortunately ...
I liked this first episode a lot. Indeed, the "why can't you keep a girlfirend" question is a bit weird, but for the rest it is the easy-going life of 2 people starting to live together. I (weirdly) liked the down-to-earth unboxing moments, putting everything in their place, the instant-coffee and the make-believe shopping trip for furniture. It's so "normal" without drama that it feels nostalgic ... I wonder how many clues Natsukawa will need before he realizes the answer as to why Tanaka can't "keep" a girlfriend :-)
A little too slow-paced for me. Also again with all of the misunderstandings of "I like you .... " and only 5 minutes later "... but ..." . There were some romantic moments but the magic of those got lost in each scene afterwards. Next to that, the filming/colors were bad (is this really from 2019?). It was a good try though ...
I find it a bit weird that there is such a big inconsitency in the series: in the later episodes it seems normal that all regular parasytes can switch bodies (it is even stated so that only the mutant parasyte can't do this) and seem to be as powerful without a body (at least the priest), so why do they all die if the body of the host is shot (but not the head)? I would just let the body die and take over the next one ...
I'm glad to see Satang in a main role (unlike in My high school president), he deserves it. And for the rest: great cast and easy watching so far. I'm loving this! Btw: Phuwin and Satang are cute drunks :-D I'm having a hard time deciding which one is more cute in ep 2 ...
So far I love this show. Finally no over the top drama queen shouting in my ears but some decent acting. The chemistry between the two main actors is great so far (and did I mention their good looks?) and the mirror seems to be just a minor inconvenience for imaginary dancing :-) This episode made my day (maybe it is sad that I just need a good love story to make my day but anyway :-) )!
Not the greatest storyline and all the side couples get boring real fast. The main couple is cute (mainly Fuse though, I found the smile of Tee just too fake sometimes). What actually bothers me is that I haven't seen an actual kiss in season 1 and 2 for the whole 26 episodes ... just some "almost" kisses on the cheek or a slight touch of the lips (and even that always looked fake). Because of that, it gets a lower rating than I'd give normally.
I.can't.stop.rewatching.this. There're so many feel-good scenes in this series: the stolen kisses, the hugs, the promises made, I even rewatched the end 3 times ... I just hope for a more uplifting s2 :-)
Ok, so I lasted the whole episode so I guess it's a good sign. I don't know about you guys, but I couldn't handle…
I also dropped 1000 years old, Time the series, A secretly love and City of stars. This one seems to go down the same way ... I'm finding myself doing fastforward all the time but I'm afraid this will end like all the others lately. The only good ongoing BL series seems to be Perfect Propose for now ...
So ... they open an old, forgotten room looking for interesting things, find an "old" 8mm film (which happens to look pretty new to me), watch it using an old projector on a bad screen and then the guy falls in love with the woman on screen? Come on, this is a bad plot to begin with ... And of course, the 2 main guys are in front of each other at the back near the window in the classroom, really? Is every BL movie low budget now? Somebody please tell me I'm wrong, I should be more patient, it'll get better ...
