nothing was answered in regards to what happened to Dr. Yang.. did he quit? was it a break? who posted that post?…
Tbh you followed the plot a lot better than I did.
I thought maybe the boy was adopted, but I doubt that two men would be able to adopt in Thailand. And of course THEY DON'T EXPLAIN IT because that would be too easy.
(And I think the boy was trying to tell Dr. Pun that the other kids tease him because he has two dads.)
Kijoon telling Yoojin about how he first fell in love with her ...
I guess the screenwriters weren't thinking because of course those two were both in relationships already, so they're asking us to feel warm and fuzzy over their first steps toward cheating .
And I always get cynical when a show plays the "baby" card in an effort to win sympathy for a character. Once I saw what was up I started skipping their scenes.
All in all this was decent but I don't feel the way I do when a series that I dearly love comes to an end. I won't be missing these characters and I doubt I'll ever rewatch any of it.
With all this talk of a main character dying you can view the series poster a little differently now. It's like all the characters are carrying Mon the way pallbearers carry a coffin.
That wasn't bad - it was quite good. But it was excruciating. The writing is great, the acting is great, it was…
Plus, if So really does have a terminal illness it's awful of his mother to want him to stay out of relationships because it might hurt the other person when So is gone. What about wanting So to have comfort and support through love?
That bit during "Romeo and Julian" where the guys had to keep kissing until the wedding march was done -- such a great example of squeamish humor, something right out of "Curb Your Enthusiasm". There were squeals from the audience when the kiss began but as Mon labored his way through the music you could sense everyone in the auditorium on the edge of their seats.
The elevator confession was a wonderful moment too. And I'd like to know what's going on with Mickey's apparent man-crush on Q.
Unfortunately, the big twist at the end is the kind of thing that can make a viewer forget "Romeo and Julian" and the rest of how good the episode is.
i read the webtoon before watching and its compleatly different and it made me hate the first episode. but i fell…
This is why I'm glad I have little interest in reading webtoons or manwhas or what have you. A series should be able to stand on its own.
I did have a look at the original work that inspired this series and I was struck by the mediocrity of the drawings and how over the top the story was. If the series had followed that toon to the letter I think the result would have been something more like the first episode of "Secret Crush On You" -- in other words, ridiculous and unrealistic.
Good movie overall, the direction is kinda similar with To My Star and Where Your Eyes Linger, my only comment…
Seriously! In most dramas nobody's phone has a passcode either. At least in this one the glasses guy unlocked the bully's phone by using facial recognition.
For 10 episodes, I kept having hopes that everything the writers put in the story would lead to a satisfying end.…
And Akk actually commented that he didn't deserve Theo.
Jimmy looked good but I thought his performance was a little stiff. Maybe he realized he'd been brought in for a last-minute rescue and didn't think the series deserved one.
What a waste of a finale. All that time spent on Theo's parents, as if we should suddenly have any stake in that outcome. Similarly, why do we need to care how Natee's love life turns out? Were they supposed to be the secondary couple? Weak sauce!
I almost never care how the book version of a BL compares to the series but I have to ask if the mind-numbing stuff about the parents' divorce is also in there.
Theo came off as one of the most immature and selfish MLs I've seen in a BL.
What I'll remember most about Enchante is that there was a character named Teacher and when people addressed her I always thought there was an actual teacher in the room. It made me wonder if in the Enchante universe are there also characters named Student and Custodian.
I'm going to go on record as predicting that the person Mon confesses to in Episode 7 is Saint. At first I thought it would have to be Mon but the more I thought about it the more I backed off of that.
Reasons:
1. Saint clearly had a huge impact on Mon when they were in high school. Even though Mon got very angry at him, it's very possible that he would continue to yearn for him. 2. Mon confirmed that the advice he got from So about his approach to playing basketball had been passed along from Saint at Saint's request. 3. We're only halfway through the series. If, like me, you assume that Mon and So are endgame then it's too soon for either of them to confess. 4. The trailer for the series shows Mon and Saint in the current timeframe laughing and falling on the bed together. That scene hasn't happened yet, so I think the second half of the series will be about Mon learning more about Saint and becoming disillusioned while at the same time continuing to realize that So is someone who truly cares about him.
We'll have to see! One thing for sure, I will enjoy seeing everything play out no matter who gets confessed to.

But the guy who proposed to Rose .. wow.

There has to be more of Saint to come. He's listed as a main character but has had very little screen time so far.

And that illness is probably why So didn't plan on ever going to college.
Something tells me we're in for a sad ending, folks.
