What I like about The Miracle of Teddy Bear is the quality of the production, the story, the acting and the soundtrack…
You picked up on a lot more than I did! I knew that Tofu was actually P'Neung but for some reason I thought the soul transfer happened due to the comet. So ... it happened when P'Neung died, and it was the transformation into a human that was due to the comet.
I have a bad feeling about Nut's mother -- I think she has a touch of demensia and will probably die by the end of the series. It might come to light that Nut still lives at home in his late 20's due to his mother's situation.
also gotta find out more about the guy playing syn cause 1) he's CUTE cute 2) he's got some solid acting potential…
He is the ONLY reason to watch.
Based on the poster he's going to end up with Nuea as a third couple, and I'm betting that Nuea is flirting with Kuea only to make Syn jealous. It will turn out he's been after Syn all along.
I will never understand the nearly-universal appeal of DomeVee. They're worthy enough characters, but to be the favorite couple out of the three? To me they are the least interesting, and it's not their fault -- in the series there was no attempt to open up their back stories and define them as individuals beyond that mutual obsession. Why should we care about them finally being together? I wish we'd been shown something.
Still, it's good that they are reconciled at the end because otherwise it would have been a cheap tease by the writers. Among other things Vee smiled for what was probably the first time in months. Yeah, I would have liked a little more drama around their reunion but on the other hand I think the way it was depicted was more realistic. After months of fear and estrangement you don't suddenly start making out on the stairs at graduation.
In the finale I think the only thing that didn't ring true was Thorn being recruited for Fah's team -- especially since the guy on the phone said was because of the game where Thorn behaved like a complete a&&hole. Oh well.
I loved the series, though. I hope we'll see more from this production company and these actors.
For So to tell Saint that he likes Mon and for Saint to reply that he likes him too is one thing - but Saint is…
Now that I understand the dialog better, I believe that at first So was thinking the way I was earlier -- that Saint wanted So to pass along the message that Saint likes Mon. But then the change in So's expression struck me as him realizing that Saint's message was about basketball.
I'm not sure that So finds Saint appealing. He never looks at him longingly. Instead he is always wary, and this was true even before he knew the connection between Saint and Mon.
Okay. Does So die in the end and Mon ends up with Saint? From the past couple of eps., I get the feeling something…
In an earlier episode one of So's friends tells So that So doesn't have a lot of time. It made me think So has some kind of health issue but we're now halfway through the series and I don't remember any further hints about it.
This episode made me love this series. They tell the story quietly but every scene is important. Saint emerges…
For So to tell Saint that he likes Mon and for Saint to reply that he likes him too is one thing - but Saint is just a terrible person to look down on So to the extent that he would actually ask So to pass the message to Mon that he (Saint) likes him. What was the point of trying to crush So's spirit like that?
I can't stand people who need to put down others in order to make themselves feel good.
I don't think So will do what Saint asked (and I bet Saint knows fully well that he won't -- the point was to put So in his place) but to me it's a gaping character flaw that makes me pray to the BL gods that Saint will lose in the end.
And as for the preview for next week: who is Mon confessing to??? If it turns out to be So I think I'll end up having kittens. ^_^
But it also guarantees that the episodes that follow will be a rollercoaster ride.
This episode made me love this series. They tell the story quietly but every scene is important. Saint emerges as a more complex character than just the conceited jock, although in a spoiler below I'll have another observation that isn't so positive.
Mon and So's friendship has evolved beautifully and realistically. If I get the ending to the series that I'm hoping for it will be rewatch material for years to come.
At the end of the trailer it says "Fridays, 8:30pm on GMM25, reruns on demand first at 10:30pm on VIU".
So I guess if it's going to be on YouTube they'll first squeeze as much money as they can out of it on those other two platforms. So ... maybe May or June for YouTube?
I'm not saying that's wrong, but it's definitely frustrating!
This show is a disastrous mess. What the hell was all that this episode?I think the series actually makes more…
And if it's not going to be the "in love with my almost-brother" trope then it might as well be the "childhood connection" one.
I have a feeling that the creepy guy is the one who hooks up with Dr. Yang next week. Maybe he asked about Pun being gay in order to keep his options open. :)

But then Saint does get into the basketball tips so you could be right, maybe what he wanted So to tell Mon was the advice about playing.
Clever dialog to be two-sided like that!

The transformation of Dr. Por into somebody I'd want to hit on was a nice surprise.
As for the main character, after seeing him in only a towel I think his name should be Dr. Pecs.
