I love Valen and Kaitoon, but I **need** to know who's texting Peat and why. Now that the MC has sealed the deal,…
Unfortunately I think you're right. They might be headed to a third season and make us wait. By then maybe Kaitoon and Valen will be a side couple and let King and Peat take center stage along with Toy and June.
How does a grown man not know what "final move" means? There are only two options - he's either planning to have…
I think Pak has a big career ahead of him!
Your theory about the original storyline getting derailed is really interesting! You might be onto something there. If Episode 6 gives us more of the same instead of furthering other storylines then I think you're definitely right.
Bill is making June think that he's there because he likes being around June whereas it looks like he's using June's table to scope out a girl at another table. Poor June. At least he has Toy.
The actor who plays Bill was in "My Bromance 2: 5 Years Later" as Nut. I wouldn't have recognized him in a million years, and even after seeing his name in the closing credits I still would swear it's not the same guy.
Last season if there'd been a similar scene with Valen making noodles on the beach he would have had a clumsy moment and spilled everything on the sand. Kaitoon has made a new man out of him.
Valen's sister is a knockout.
Is Peat really up to no good? Judging from the sinister music playing while Valen and Win talk about him: yes.
When the scene cut to Nont moping up the hallway I laughed. What a terrible, nonsensical role. Pan should get a new agent. He's tall and really cute and should avoid playing a doormat in his next series no matter what. Two times is enough.
umm no??? the hairstylists got me mad at and the plotlines are too slow burned like give me back s1 markkit
For me the bad hair award goes first and foremost to Pok and Tong, but Thanu might take second place. He just isn't as strikingly handsome as he was in S1.
I think they're trying to make them all look more mature. SMH
Does Bas have it in his contract that he's not allowed to smile? How can such a dull, lifeless character as Wayu be the lead in an ensemble cast?
While I don't see the appeal, Bas clearly has a fanbase, but I don't know how anyone can say he is a capable actor.
I'm watching because of my hopes for Sandee and Phai, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Jack and Koh finally wake up to their mutual attraction. The rest is so skippable.
Well, actually, I do like Jil and Yuki too. I realize they're the token m/f couple so they'll get minimal screen time but they have chemistry together, which in this series is saying a lot.
I'd have liked this much more if the first thing Wayu did after stepping out in that long blond wig was to fling back the hair and say "Call me Khalisee!"
I do not like Calix' character. He is just false. He was there with the girl, when she took Luke's wallet. So,…
Honestly, I think it's the writer-director's fault. His own script probably confuses him. Either that or he just doesn't care and changes the story in whichever way he wants.
This episode was so bad that it made me wonder if this was a "rogue" production where they didn't have permission to film on the premises, resulting in shitty sound and one-take amateur acting.
And just when we thought Calix's mom couldn't be any less human she confounds our expectations once again. What a monster.
Clark was certainly emoting this ep - he's actually pretty good, if you take into consideration the melodramatic…
I agree - this was Clark's episode. And I also agree that it looks like we've been had. Although the promo pics uploaded here show Calix and Luke sitting together like lovers, in the end I think we'll be lucky if we see them shake hands and smile.
Over nine episodes I've put up with a lot of terrible production values not to be rewarded. Alas.
Why would Todd perpetrate the deed on Black and then urge White to impersonate Black?
I think it's so that the gang wouldn't be aware that Black had been attacked in the first place, allowing Todd (who is undoubtedly linked to Tawi) to remain above suspicion for a while.
And, sorry to DanYok fans, I think Dan is sketchy. As someone has already pointed out, it was all too convenient for him to be there to help Yok when Yok was being chased. Maybe Dan will have a moment of truth where he absolutely must choose sides, in which case I hope he'll chose Yok's, but for now I'm not totally convinced about him.
I'm speechless, dead, deceased, gone. This episode was literally a mix of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Main…
I don't know exactly why Sean kept the button from White's vest, but when the real Black shows up in a vest with all the buttons intact it could be a major clue to the switcheroo.
In the opening credits of Episode 1 there are three credits to "Beijing" cultural organizations. I don't know if those are the production companies or the distributors.
Was this made before the crackdown and then sold outside of China? How are people determining that this was made in Hong Kong?
The screenplay worked hard to get the dialog to where that line was possible. How can I not love such artful writing? LOL
After that the banana-riding jokes were a mere bonus.
Adrian is a good sport to let his body be the reason to watch parts 3 and 4. He might not be a gifted actor, but that stroll in a Speedo showed how he’s gifted in other ways.
All that, and they still found a way for Mikey to squirt pearls of suntan lotion over Zeyn’s bare chest.
Some of the characters are dubbed but not all, and not the mains.
You can tell who’s been dubbed by the change in acoustics in a scene. For example, during the parental confrontation with the principal, the principal and student were recorded live while the student’s mother was dubbed. Whenever she speaks the ambient sound deadens like it does when something is recorded in a studio.
Similarly, the scene with the bicycle gift wasn’t dubbed.
So far, for a drama with the word “kissable” in the title the actual kissing looks as sterile as what we get in most other KBLs. We’re not in “To My Star”s Korea anymore.

More beach-trip fun next week!

But omg, all the dialog is dubbed and Cdrama dubbing is such a pet peeve of mine.
