The article on the tropes is interesting. Thanks for sharing it! I wish the author had said which series the stills were taken from. Many I recognized, but not all of them.

Also, these tropes are common in all Asian dramas, not just BL. Especially 'the held stare' and 'accidental kiss'. It's rare for a romantic drama not to have one or both of those occur during an early episode, signalling to viewers who will be coupled up by the end.

Loving this a lot. It's so relaxed and fun. Each pairing is worth following and the chemistry is on point.

In Episode 4 that first encounter between Thanu and Phai was done really well. They were both wearing NY Yankees gear so it seems we are being told that they're destined to be soulmates.

Exactly. It's a very flawed assumption, because people who were sincerely touched to the point of creating an account to express themselves are being treated like shills. There are other series where I suspect that ballot-stuffing could be a factor, but not this one.

I'll be honest, as much as I ship Tan and Oil I'm starting to worry that their relationship has been one big tease for the entire series. I am so tired of 'fake-outs' in BLs.

Given the intimate mood that pervaded most of this episode, I think if that wasn't able to get one or both of them to confess then I don't know what will. What we got instead were the usual BL cliche of almost-kisses and almost-confessions, and it gets irritating. In this episode it was a waste of some nice set-ups that seemed to promise something special. Instead we get the usual last-second swerve away from a kiss or confession. Annoying!

I thought Oil's motivation was to get Tan to have dinner with his father and half-brother without Oil being there, and that Khun showed up unexpectedly.

I didn't get the impression that Oil was plotting to get Tan out of the house so he could hook up with Khun. Which means I should go back and rewatch that part.

I'm not a Thai soul (although I like to think of myself as kind) ... but I've seen a few videos on YouTube that claim to have spoilers for the series. I haven't watched any so I can't vouch for them, but they might have what you're looking for.

For the rating to drop so much shows that they still need to work on that algorithm.

Just looking at the comments here it's obvious that this series is touching people in a way that is extremely rare. Not many pages on MDL have such an outpouring of appreciation and positivity. There ought to be a way for the score to reflect that.

I should correct myself: they're not removing the dummy accounts, they're just eliminating them from the rating calculation.

I guess it would be pretty rude to delete an account for any reason except abuse. A lot of people signed up for this site because they wanted to express their feelings about ITSAY. That's the power of this series.

The site has changed the algorithm for calculating the ratings and they've stopped including the ratings by accounts that were apparently created with the sole purpose of influencing the score. They have warned that we will see some of the scores change by as much as 0.5 in either direction.

I'm guessing that Sorn (the kid who got roughed up by the gang of toughs) is going to end up in a side couple with one of them ... and my guess would be the one who seems to be the leader, who slapped his friend in the back of the head. I think that's 'Tat'.

What an excellent start! It was cute how they worked that first kiss in there.

I watched Episode 1 on the WeTV site, but it seems the only way to purchase a VIP pass is through the mobile app, which Apple won't let me access due to my region. If anyone knows a way to buy VIP without the app please let me know.

CORRECTION: They're not 'deleting' the accounts that appear to be created to influence the ratings -- they're changing the algorithm so it doesn't include them in the calculation.

I've sensed a campaign to bring down the rating of this series. The fans (and perhaps the producers) of a certain other series are hellbent on making that one "the" Pinoy BL series of all time, so instead of forgetting about GSP as you suggest, they've become obsessed with it.

I think in this one Sandee pushes them off a building.

'My Extraodinary Two': Sandee's killing spree continues.

She is going to be like Jason in the 'Friday the 13th' movies, showing up in every new 'My Extraordinary' to ruin the lives of the protagonists. And, like the 'Friday the 13th' movies, with each new edition they'll come up with creative new ways for Sandee to do it.

I'd dropped the series but after seeing the reaction to the finale here I went back to watch the last episodes.

What is the concept for Season Two? Reincarnation?

That bunny facepaint and Phu's bunny-love confession put me over the moon. Phu's eyes said everything. I hope they will get at least one nice kiss between them before the end of the series.

Suddenly it's like a spy thriller ...

But we didn't find out what happened in the meeting about the presentation topics. I want to see Linda fall flat on her face. I guess they're saving that for next week.
